I've been a fan of Mason Douglas since catching a performance during a live stream show from a venue in Nashville, TN a few months back, but had no idea just how good he was until I caught his live show in Cary, NC earlier this month. I was prepared for good, but good was an understatement.
Mason has just released his debut cd, "My Wild Heart" and it's on constant repeat on my iPod. This cd is great from the first track, "My Wild Heart" to the last track,"Goodbye Woman" , and all tracks in between. It's rare that I like an entire cd which is why I normally just purchase per song online, but this cd is well worth the purchase. Heck, buy more than one! Have it ready to go on all cd players in your house, your car, your office.
The cd has something for everyone, from the last call bar favorites, "Trabajo Manana (Fiesta Today)" and "Big Bad Wolf" to heartfelt, captivating love songs like my personal favorite, "People Fall in Love" and "Hesitate". I can't recommend this cd enough, I honestly can't. Between Mason's charm and charisma to his strong, energetic vocals, it's hard not to turn it on right now and stop this review so I can just listen.
