Anyone that knows me is fully aware of how important the Oak Ridge Boys are to me and the influence they've had on my life. They have a very special place in my heart that no one else will ever touch. I had the opportunity this past weekend to spend some time with Joe Bonsall, longtime member of the Oaks, published author, banjo picker and most importantly, my friend, before their show in Kenansville, NC. We talked (and obviously laughed) about everything from upcoming projects, awards and Lady Gaga to Taylor Swift, the Phillies and a super cat named Ted. Sorry for the camera angles and bad acoustics. Camera angles due to having 2 different people filming and acoustics, well, that's just the room's fault. The interview went so long because we were having so much fun that I had to break it down into 2 parts. This is us, unrehearsed, off the cuff, having fun and being as unprofessional as we possibly could. Thanks Joe for just being Joe. I love you my friend.
(P.S. Duane, I love you too)
