Christian Kane Radio Request Guidelines

Attention All Christian Kaniacs (and all country music fans for that matter), please read these radio request guidelines from Christian's camp. These should in fact apply to any request for any artist.

RADIO REQUEST GUIDELINES

Christian KaneSome of you are asking how you can help Christian get his song LET ME GO on the radio.  Many radio stations have playlists that restrict what the DJ’s are allowed to play.  Our goal is to get them to ADD Christian to the playlist.   The more ADDs each week, the better!  Your calls and emails may not result in an immediate ADD, so please don’t be frustrated.  Some stations won’t touch a song until it is in the TOP 40 or unless their corporate playlist has selected it.  Over time the stations react to listener requests and what other stations are doing.  EVERY LITTLE BIT COUNTS!  If you don’t know which stations in your area you should contact or how to reach them, use the RADIO LOCATOR found here: http://www.radio-locator.com/ .  For now, please choose the COUNTRY format only.
Thanks so much for all of your support!  Keep up the great work and help us spread Christian’s music!

Kaniac Radio Request Guide:

You should call, e-mail, message or tweet your request at most 2x per day.  Only do it locally please.  If you listen to a distant station online, make sure you include this info and the URL in your request.  Spamming and excessive requests or requests from listeners who have no way to listen to the station can have the opposite of the intended result.

Be aware that a station may not be able to reply to or honor your request right away, but they will make note of it.  Oftentimes the station has a list of songs it must play.  This means we lose out until we can convince them to add Christian to the playlist.  This is called ADDING the song.

Play nice!  Kaniacs have a reputation for being polite and courteous to DJs, PDs and each other.  Let’s keep it up!

MOST IMPORTANTLY!  If the stations in your area are already playing “LET ME GO,” let them know that you appreciate them and how much you LOVE the song.
