Today, Tuesday, November 22, 2011, Tennessee Titans players Jordan Babineaux, Rob Bironas and Daniel Graham handed off an early Thanksgiving blessing to Tracy Lawrence at the Nashville Rescue Mission with a donation of 100 gobblers to help kick off the 6th annual “Mission Possible” Turkey Fry. The turkeys will help Lawrence reach his goal of 500 and just the donation alone will help with approximately 1,327 meals.
The 6th Annual “Mission Possible” Turkey Fry hosted by Lawrence, will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 23rd from 6:00am to 1:00pm. Various celebrities such as Restless Heart, American Idol’s Lacey Brown, The Roys and The McClymonts will be on hand to greet donors who come by to bring a turkey to help the cause.
The event is on target to fry over 500 turkeys that will help serve more than 7,000 meals, giving those in need an opportunity to enjoy Thanksgiving. Since the launch of the “Mission Possible” Turkey Fry, Lawrence and his friends have donated more than 5,000 turkeys, serving almost 35,000 meals and raised more than $100,000 for the Nashville Rescue Mission.
The public is invited to come by and watch the event. The sixth annual “Mission Possible” Turkey Fry is free and open to the public (although donations to the Nashville Rescue Mission are requested).
