We all can hold grudges, but it takes a special person with character to forgive. When you forgive, it's not saying what hurt you was ok and it's not saying you approve of what was done. It says you're willing to let it go so you can move on and release yourself of the pain that you've been holding on to. Forgiving someone also doesn't mean that the one that hurt you should be welcomed back into your heart or your life, it means you've made peace with the situation and you're ready to just let it go. This week, try forgiving just one person who's hurt you, you'll be amazed how much better you feel.
