COUNTRY THUNDER ARIZONA SET FOR APRIL 9-12, 2015

PRESS RELEASE

FLORENCE, Ariz. (April 14, 2014) – This past weekend country music fans descended on historic Florence, Arizona, for the 21st Country Thunder music festival, where the event hit capacity crowds.  Jason Aldean, reigning ACM ‘Male Vocalist of the Year’, helped bring this year’s event to a close as he blazed through his catalog of hits and  was joined by Colt Ford and Tyler Farr on stage.

The record-setting crowd was treated to the biggest and brightest stars in country music throughout the weekend, including Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry, Thompson Square, Easton Corbin, Craig Morgan, Charlie  Worsham, and many more.

“This year’s festival has been the best Country Thunder to date,” said Troy Vollhoffer, Executive Producer of the festival.  “I hope everyone comes back for another amazing year. Stay tuned for a very exciting line-up announcement!”

In addition to an award-winning, top-notch line-up, Country Thunder offered the full-fan experience and more on-site entertainment than ever before.  Jack Daniel’s Experience, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that brought a taste of the much-loved distillery from Lynchburg, Tenn. to Florence, Ariz., the Denim & Diamonds on-site bar, the Sling Shot thrill ride, mechanical bull riding, over 18 food vendors and nearly three dozen retail vendors. After the lights of the main stage went dark, festival goers made their way to Electric Thunder, where DJ Du was spinning into the wee hours of the morning.

If you missed the action this year, don’t delay and get your 4-day tickets for 2015 now for only $99. Tickets are currently available at www.countrythunder.com or by calling (866) 802-6418.

Starting Wednesday, April 16, 2014, Campsites will be available starting at $160, VIP tickets will be available for $550, and RSVP seating will be available starting at $250.

“Each year, we are astonished to see this temporary city, which rises seemingly in the middle of nowhere, filled with so many like-minded souls and familiar faces. Whether one camps for the entire weekend or comes and goes each evening, we're all here for the same thing: to celebrate life with music, food, beer, sunshine and good friends. With such traditions come great expectations and Country Thunder never fails to deliver. Everywhere, you see people smiling.”  — Keith Sparbanie, Arizona Republic

“This year marked my fifteenth Country Thunder and each year just when you think you've seen everything you could expect from four days of country kicking in the desert, the festival comes up with something new that makes you say ‘Wow, I never would have thought of that.’  A few years ago, the festival experienced a rebirth that has made Country Thunder West one of the finest music festivals in the country.  This year’s lineup is a prime example: Just a week before the festival kicked off on Thursday, this year’s headliners were crowned as country music’s best of the best: Miranda Lambert, ACM Female Vocalist of the Year; Jason Aldean, Male Vocalist; and The Band Perry, Group of the Year.  Where else are you going to go to one venue and see country music’s biggest stars for one ticket?”  — Cathalena E. Burch, AZ Daily Star
