Featured panelists will be Courtney Allen, Creative Director at BMG and indie song-plugger and publisher Jeffrey Nelson and will be hosted by Nancy Deckant, Founder and CEO of Sooner.
The interactive event seeks to connect songwriters and publishers. The publishers will share how they select the songwriters they work with, the types of writers they are looking for, and provide a live Q&A session, and three deserving songwriters will be referred to Courtney and Jeffrey by Sooner.

These experienced publishers are an integral part of the music industry helping artists and songwriters alike find success through their music. Jeffrey Nelson is now in his 19th year representing hit writers and select publishing companies. He has successfully placed outside songs with Tracy Lawrence, Bucky Covington, Aaron Pritchett and Joe Nichols. Courtney Allen is responsible for scouting, developing, and signing new artists and songwriters, and works closely with hit songwriters Travis Meadows, Wynn Varble, Lucie Silvas, and James Slater.
