DUSTIN LYNCH CELEBRATES “STAY COUNTRY” CLOTHING LINE LAUNCH WITH PACKED CONCERT AT THE STAGE IN NASHVILLE, TN

Budding Superstar Expands Already-Popular Merch Line Into Full-Blown Brand

Following a headlining performance at the “Music City Gives Back” concert, Broken Bow Records’ Dustin Lynch closed out CMA Music Festival with a performance at The Stage in downtown Nashville Sunday (6/12) to celebrate the launch of his clothing line “Stay Country.” The country star entertained the packed audience with his high energy set, including #1 smash “Mind Reader,” a preview of new music with “Small Town Boy Like Me,” and a round of karaoke roulette with special guests Tyler Rich and Adam Sanders. Before doors opened, fans lined up all the way down the main drive of Broadway to claim their spot for the free show and have the opportunity to purchase items from the “Stay Country” line.

“Stay Country isn’t just a brand, it’s a lifestyle,” says Lynch. “It’s where I grew up. It’s home to the rivers I’ve fished, the deer stands I’ve perched, and the dirt roads I’ve roamed. It inspired Stay Country.” The line of accessibly-priced men’s and women’s shirts, hats, and accessories, all emblazoned with the distinctive Stay Country logo, can be found online at https://www.staycountryclothing.com.

Lynch, a Tullahoma, TN native, has long dreamed of creating his own fashion line. “I’ve always been a fan of what clothes say, especially now that I’m on stage every night,” he recently explained to WWD in a profile about his fashion acumen. “We introduced a simple hat last fall and we couldn’t keep it in stock. So it’s time, we’re off to the races.” Notable fans of the line already include fashion maven Kelly Osbourne, who sported a camouflage Stay Country cap on her Instagram feed the Monday after meeting Lynch at the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, CA last month.
Beyond his busy entrepreneurial career, Lynch is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to his smash sophomore album, WHERE IT’S AT, in between opening dates on Luke Bryan’s KILL THE LIGHTS tour. This fall, he will join Chris Young’s I’M COMIN’ OVER tour as direct support.

Special guests celebrating “A Whole Lot More To Me” included Mac Powell, Eric Paslay, Kane Brown and more

Fans and friends crowded into the newly renovated Wildhorse Saloon this week to celebrate the release of Craig Morgan’s profound new album a Whole Lot More To Me. The night, presented by Kidde, Line-X, and NRA Country kicked off with performances by Hailey Whitters, Jillian Cardarelli, Adam Sanders, and Mac Powell. The party continued late into the night with Morgan taking the stage and sharing tracks from the new LP and several of his chart toppers with fans singing along.

Memorable moments included surprise guests Eric Paslay and Kane Brown with Paslay joining Morgan on stage for a song he penned on the new album called “Country Side of Heaven.” The crowd was thrilled when Brown performed a reprise of one of Morgan’s biggest hits “Almost Home.” Third Day’s Mac Powell came back out onto the stage during Morgan’s full throttle set to join forces on “Hearts I Leave Behind,” electrifying the fans. Craig kept the crowd on its toes all night as he performed the moving “Nowhere Without You” while roaming through the Wildhorse and ended the night with a rousing stage dive!

The Black River Entertainment recording artist’s seventh studio album, released June 3rd, is co-produced by Craig and Byron Gallimore (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack), includes “When I’m Gone,” “I’ll Be Home Soon” and the Mac Powell duet, “Hearts I Leave Behind.” Craig co-wrote nearly half of the album's tracks with some of Music City's hottest writers like Josh Osborne, Kevin Denney, Jim McBride and Phil O'Donnell.

#CMAFEST2016 - CITY OF HOPE CELEBRITY SOFTBALL GAME HITS A HOME RUN IN ITS 26TH YEAR

Team Opry and Team iHeart Country end in 18 to 18 Tie Game as more than 30 Music and Sports Stars Step up to the Plate to Strike Out Cancer

Music Industry Veteran Bruce Hinton Presented “Champion of Hope” Honor by Big Machine Label Group President and CEO, Scott Borchetta

It was a home run for the 26th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game, which saw more than 30 music and sports stars step up to the plate to strike out cancer at First Tennessee Park in Nashville. Team iHeart Country and Team Opry ended in a tie game with a final score of 18 to 18.

Country music icon Trisha Yearwood led with the national anthem before Lauren Alaina, Craig Wayne Boyd, Danielle Bradbery, The Bobby Bones Show, Bucky Covington, Jessie James Decker, Charles Esten, Nick Fradiani, Vince Gill, Mickey Guyton, Jonathan Jackson, Chris Lane, LOCASH, Scotty McCreery, A Thousand Horses, Tristan McIntosh, Bret Michaels, David Nail, Cassadee Pope, RaeLynn, Jamie Lynn Spears, Mark Wills, Brett Young and former Major League Baseball pitcher Barry Zito took to the field to strike out cancer. The Crook and Chase Countdown’s Lorianne Crook and WSM’s Bill Cody emceed and offered play-by-plays for the thousands of fans in attendance.

The fan favorite game didn’t disappoint, as the bats came alive for both teams throughout the high scoring game. Memorable moments on the field included multiple inside the park home runs, double plays, and some crazy antics leading to tying the score up at 18 in the final inning.

The City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game, a 26-year tradition during CMA Music Festival, celebrated its first quarter century in Nashville as it honored the game’s founder, music industry veteran Bruce Hinton. The “Champion of Hope Award” was presented to Hinton by President and CEO of Big Machine Label Group, Scott Borchetta, for his significant contributions to the event over its quarter century history.

While neither team can walk away with bragging rights this year, it is the patients at City of Hope who are the real winners with more than $200,000 raised for cancer research.

Thousands of fans packed the ballpark to catch the action and antics on the field. Before the first pitch was thrown, the crowds cheered wildly as 8-year old City of Hope patient Aaron Yniguez, who received lifesaving treatment for acute myeloid leukemia more than three years ago at City of Hope, and his genetically matched, life-saving stem cell donor Yolanda Nava, a Southwest® Airlines Employee from Arlington, Texas, traveled to meet on the pitcher’s mound for the very first time.

Bone marrow transplants offer a second chance for people with life-threatening blood cancers and other hematologic malignancies. Since 1976, more than 13,000 patients from virtually every state and dozens of countries have undergone bone marrow, cord blood or stem cell transplants at City of Hope. Support from the Nashville community and its country music artists directly benefit City of Hope’s mission to find cures for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.

Those unable to attend the game can still support City of Hope. A variety of unique merchandise including game-worn jerseys signed by the players, and experiences including meet-and-greets with the hottest artists, will be available for bid at Cohauctions.com. The proceeds will benefit City of Hope’s mission to eradicate cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

http://ryman.com/events/Stars_For_Second_Harvest

Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 7:30 PM
Tickets are $35 & $55

Blake Shelton will join Chris Lane, Kane Brown and songwriters Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne for the annual Stars for Second Harvest Benefit Show on June 7, hosted by founder of Big Loud Records and Big Loud Shirt’s Craig Wiseman.

Last year, the benefit, held at the Ryman Auditorium, raised more than a record breaking $140,000. The 11-year total of almost $900,000 raised through the show has provided over 3.5 million meals to the one in six middle Tennesseans at risk of hunger. In addition to money raised from the event, Wiseman’s personal contribution and the contributions of his country music friends, have brought the collective dollars raised to $1,000,000 in support of Second Harvest.

“Through a fun-filled event with the best names in music, we are able to make a real difference in the lives of so many who just hope for a meal last year,” said Wiseman. “We have incredible support from the artists, from our sponsor O’Charley’s and the amazing fans. I can’t wait to announce who will be joining us this year for the show. Previous years have seen incredible performances by artists such as Tim McGraw, Jon Bon Jovi, Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line, Ronnie Dunn, Keith Urban, along with so many big hit songwriters playing their songs and telling the stories, this year promises to be the biggest and most star studded show we have ever done!”

“We are proud to serve as the presenting sponsor of Stars for Second Harvest since its inception. O’Charley’s started right here in Nashville, so middle Tennessee has a special place in our heart.” said Eddie Hall, president of O’Charley’s.
