#NEWMUSICFRIDAY - DYLAN SCOTT UNLEASHES INTIMATE STRIPPED EP TODAY

NEW TRACK “NOTHING TO DO TOWN” DROPPING NOVEMBER 16

INAUGURAL BAYOU STOCK COUNTRY FESTIVAL TO BENEFIT NORTHEAST LOUISIANA SET FOR NOVEMBER 17

Dylan Scott is proud to announce the release of his Stripped EP, a raw-and-unfiltered collection of acoustic Country heat out today.

Now available across all digital platforms, the intimate Stripped is the audio-only companion to Scott’s popular Stripped acoustic-video series, an artistic high point of five plaintive clips which have combined to tally over 25 million YouTube views so far.

Featuring the platinum-certified #1, “My Girl,” and four others with their rich songwriting foundations on full display, the Stripped EP includes tracks from Scott’s self-titled Top 5 album debut and the insatiable romance of “Give Me More.”

Track listing

1. “Crazy Over Me (Stripped)” – Matt Alderman, Dylan Scott

2. “My Girl (Stripped)” – Josh Kerr, Dylan Scott

3. “Give Me More (Stripped)” – Andy Gibson, Dylan Scott, Forest Glen Whitehead

4. “Can’t Take Her Anywhere (Stripped)” – Josh Kerr, Mike Krompass, Dylan Scott

5. “Beer Buddies (Stripped)” – Dylan Scott, Forest Glen Whitehead

Meanwhile, Scott’s just-released cover video for benny blanco, Halsey & Khalid's “Eastside” has been lighting YouTube on fire – which is nothing new for the artist who has already amassed more than 175 million views in total. Fusing gorgeous shots of a Californian cityscape with Scott’s effortlessly cool vocal delivery, the clip gives this R&B ode to teenaged romance a rootsy new vibe.

Coming soon from the hitmaker will be the party starting Friday-night jam, “Nothing To Do Town,” a brand new song due on November 16. Written by Scott with John Taylor and Matthew Alderman, it follows Scott’s second consecutive Top 5 radio smash – the Gold-certified “Hooked” – and also serves as the name of his headlining Nothing to Do Town Tour, which kicks off January 17 in New York City with special guest Seth Ennis.

Up next is Scott’s inaugural Bayou Stock fundraising Country music festival, set for November 17 in Sterlington, Louisiana. A native of nearby Bastrop, Louisiana, the rising star will lead a lineup of artists including Mark Chesnutt, Morgan Evans, Lainey Wilson and Barrett Pepper, with proceeds going towards Christmas gifts for local kids in need. Featuring music, food trucks, tailgating and more, Bayou Stock marks the largest Country festival to hit Northeast Louisiana in over 10 years, and tickets are on sale now at https://bayoustock.com.

#NEWMUSICFRIDAY - NEW ARTIST HARDY REVEALS HARD-CHARGING THIS OLE BOY EP

HIT COUNTRY SONGWRITER ON TOUR WITH MORGAN WALLEN IN 2019
SCORED FIRST TWO #1S WITH WALLEN’S “UP DOWN”
(FEATURING FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE) + FGL’S “SIMPLE”

Hit Country songwriter and newly-signed Big Loud Records/Tree Vibez Music artist HARDY makes his hard-charging debut today, unleashing the rocked-up small-town swagger of his THIS OLE BOY EP.

One of the most exciting new lyricists in Country today, HARDY scored his first #1 as a writer with the blistering backwoods stomp of Morgan Wallen’s PLATINUM-certified “Up Down” (featuring Florida Georgia Line) earlier this year. And he just repeated the feat with FGL’s rootsy chart blitzer, “Simple,” snagging the top spot on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase Country Airplay charts this week.

But with the four songs on THIS OLE BOY produced by Joey Moi, the Mississippi native looks to introduce his own brand of Country – filled with gritty work-boot stomping, tributes to those who prefer to kick it old school and chest-thumping rural realism.

“I love that lifestyle, and that’s what I want to talk about,” shares HARDY. “I’m not really a love song dude. If I’m going down that road, it’s a song like ‘This Ole Boy’ where it’s a redneck-in-love kind of thing. People that are like me, or people who still live in small towns, still love that and want to hear that. That’s why I’m who I am as an artist.”

Recently spotlighted in The Tennessean’s Fall Music Preview and featuring cowrites with celebrated tunesmiths like Rodney Clawson, Corey Crowder and FGL’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, HARDY’s THIS OLE BOY EP track list follows below:

HARDY’s THIS OLE BOY EP

1. “THROWBACK” (Rodney Clawson/Hardy/Corey Crowder/Jordan Schmidt)

2. “REDNECKER” (Hardy/Andy Albert/Jordan Schmidt)

3. “THIS OLE BOY” (Corey Crowder/Tyler Hubbard/Brian Kelley/Hardy)

4. “4X4” (Hardy/Ryan Beaver/Nick Donley)

With his foot firmly on the gas, HARDY will hit the road on Morgan Wallen’s just announced IF I KNOW ME TOUR. Set to open more than two dozen shows on the winter-long run, the IF I KNOW ME TOUR kicks off January 5 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and runs through March 30 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Earlier this week, HARDY joined Wallen and his “Up Down” cowriters Brad Clawson and CJ Solar for a vibey rooftop #1 celebration, held at the Thompson Hotel’s L.A. Jackson in Nashville. Check out photos of the event here.
