On the heels of sharing the news of his 31st studio album with fans during a sold-out show at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium earlier this month, Country Music Hall of Fame member George Strait debuts the first release from "Cowboys And Dreamers" with “MIA Down in MIA.”

Written by Adam Craig and Dean Dillon, and produced by Strait with Chuck Ainlay, “MIA Down in MIA” features the Texas native’s Ace in the Hole Band, including longtime fiddle player Gene Elder.

“I’m dedicating this record to my longtime manager and friend Erv Woolsey and my longtime fiddle player and friend Gene Elders (a player on four of these tracks), who we lost on the same day, March 20, 2024, as well as my longtime friend and road manager Tom Foote, who we lost on April 29, 2024,” shares Strait. “I will never forget all of the good times we had together. May they rest in peace with our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The follow-up to "Honky Tonk Time Machine", Strait’s 27th No. 1 Billboard Country album, "Cowboys And Dreamers" will feature 13 new songs, including “Honky Tonk Hall Of Fame” featuring Chris Stapleton, which the pair debuted during the sold-out show at Lucas Oil Stadium on May 4, and his own rendition of Waylon Jennings’ “Waymore’s Blues.”

HEARTWRECKERS JOIN TIM MCGRAW ON HIS "STANDING ROOM ONLY" SUMMER ARENA TOUR WITH SPECIAL GUEST CARLY PEARCE

New Duo To Hit Six Cities With Country Superstars Beginning May 30, Following May 24 Release Of Debut EP Shut Up And Drink, Produced by Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Pecos & The Rooftops, Austin Snell)

Heartwreckers, the new duo composed of singer-songwriters Brock Butler and Ryan Garrett, will join Tim McGraw’s “Standing Room Only” summer tour for six arena shows beginning May 30 in Toledo, OH, with dates in Chicago, Kansas City and more.

The duo released its debut single “Shut Up," written by Butler and Garrett, and produced by Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Pecos & The Rooftops), on Friday, Jan. 19.

Download/stream/purchase “Shut Up” HERE.

“Tim McGraw was a mainstay on our radio growing up — I still say "Everywhere" is one of my favorite albums of all time," says Butler. "Having the opportunity to share a stage with him at this point in my life is surreal, and I couldn’t be more grateful or excited about it.”

Garrett adds, "I grew up listening to Tim McGraw driving down backroads in my dad’s Dodge. 'Shotgun Rider' is one of my favorite country songs of all time. Being able to hear that song on the road every night and being able to open for such a staple in country music is a dream I never thought would become reality until now."

Heartwreckers’ upcoming EP, "Shut Up And Drink", a collection of five envelope-pushing country songs all written by Butler and Garrett, reflects the unblinking lyrical and sonic approach the duo applies to country music, described by Garrett as “Country. Ass. Rock. With the periods!”

"Shut Up And Drink" is set for release on May 24, supported by a run of live show dates beginning Feb. 9, including May 1 performances at the 28th Annual Key West Songwriters Festival, Presented by BMI. For tickets and tour information, visit realheartwreckers.com.

Written by McCreery, Frank Rogers and Brent Anderson and produced by Rogers, Derek Wells, and Aaron Eshuis, “Cab in a Solo” offers the first taste of new music from McCreery since the release of his 2021 album Same Truck. Stream “Cab in a Solo” HERE.

Upon its release, Taste of Country declared “McCreery’s country roots shine.” With a hint of neo-traditional country and dash of 90’s country nostalgia, the heartbreak track finds the happily married father in unfamiliar territory – lamenting a failed relationship.

“Cab in a Solo” follows the recent success of “It Matters to Her” the fastest climbing single of McCreery’s career. The singer/songwriter has earned five consecutive No. 1 hits in the last few years including RIAA Platinum-certified No. 1 “Damn Strait” and RIAA Gold-certified No. 1 “You Time,” all found on Same Truck: The Deluxe Album.

McCreery is among six inductees in the 2023 class of artists scheduled to be enshrined in the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame during the annual induction ceremony this fall. The induction ceremony will take place next week on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Mooresville Performing Arts Center in Mooresville, N.C. McCreery will give an acoustic performance at the event. VIP and General Reserved tickets are available HERE. Always the road warrior, McCreery is currently headlining shows through mid-December.

#TOURINGNEWS - THE OAK RIDGE BOYS ANNOUNCE HISTORIC AMERICAN MADE: FAREWELL TOUR

“Rooted in gospel…Positive in perspective…Bringing joy…Bringing excitement…And, whether singing songs of faith, love songs, or the national anthem at hundreds of sporting events or the giddy-ups that precede the oom papas and the mow-mows….Bringing harmony…To a world that’s rife with dissonance”

– Jody Williams at Induction of The Oak Ridge Boys into the Country Music Hall of Fame, October 25, 2015

GRAMMY® Award-winning and Country Music Hall of Fame members, The Oak Ridge Boys are officially celebrating their 50th Anniversary this October. With this celebration, The Oak Ridge Boys are announcing their American Made: Farewell Tour! The group, Duane Allen(1966), Joe Bonsall (1973), William Lee Golden (1965), and Richard Sterban (1972) are excited to celebrate both milestones with fans with the announcement of this tour.

“We are doing a farewell tour because we owe it to our fans to say goodbye,” shares William Lee Golden. “They have always been there for us through the good times and the bad. I will always be thankful to every person who came out to a show, bought a t-shirt, played our music, and overall, loved us enough to spend their hard-earned money whenever they could. This tour is for you!”

“I want to thank God for 50 years of singing with three of my best friends and for the fans who have been there for us,” shares Richard Sterban. “This is a celebration and we hope to see you there.”

Designated as America’s national anthem singers by the MENC (National Association for Music Educators), The Oak Ridge Boys released their #1 hit single, “American Made” in February 1983. Their love for God and country remains true to this day, and with this being the 40th Anniversary of the single, it seemed fitting to incorporate “American Made” into their farewell.

The Oak Ridge Boys have received four Academy of Country Music, two American Music, five Billboard, four Country Music Association, five Grammy, and twelve Gospel Music Association Dove awards, just to name a few. They are members of the Grand Ole Opry, the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, and the Country Music Hall of Fame. They have achieved seventeen #1 hits including “Leaving Louisiana In The Broad Daylight,” “Bobbie Sue,” “Trying To Love Two Women,” “(I’m Settin’) Fancy Free,” “American Made,” and the unforgettable “Elvira.” With an astounding thirty-seven Top 20 country hits, with twelve gold, three platinum, and one double-platinum album, The Oak Ridge Boys have made their mark in every facet of the gospel, pop, and country music industry.

“For all of my career I have always been a planner, sometimes planning 2 or 3 years in advance, what we will do, where we will go, and when we record,” expresses Duane Allen. “As we celebrate 50 years of being together, just as you see us, we will, also, begin our American Made: Farewell Tour. I don’t know how long the tour will last, but we hope to return to as many parts of the country as we can. Thank you so much for these 50 years. For me, it’s 57 1/2 years. I have given you the best part of my life and you have rewarded me with a wonderful career. Thank you, our dear fans. Thanks to God for His divine guidance. Thank you to our wonderful organization. Thank you to all the supporting companies who represent us. And thank you to our families.”

In the early seventies, The Oak Ridge Boys continued to expand their cutting-edge style. After the addition of Richard Sterban in 1972 and Joe Bonsall in 1973, the Oaks were forever changed with a new direction, a new sound, and a new path. Their career stands alone with its legacy, its style, and its continued contributions to gospel and country music.

“I was 25 years old in 1973 when I joined The Oak Ridge Boys,” shares Joe Bonsall. “I am 75 years old in 2023 and I am STILL an Oak Ridge Boy. It has been and still IS an amazing ride.”

COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM TO OPEN NEW EXHIBITION, "ERIC CHURCH: COUNTRY HEART, RESTLESS SOUL"

Church Set for Nissan Stadium CMA Fest Performance This Saturday, June 10
Ahead of The Outsiders Revival Tour Kicking Off June 22

The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will explore the life and ever-growing career of 10-time GRAMMY nominee and CMA Entertainer of the year Eric Church in its newest exhibition, Eric Church: Country Heart, Restless Soul, presented by Gibson. The exhibit will chronicle Church's unique path to stardom, from his early years playing late-night gigs in bars and writing songs in Nashville to his current prominence as one of country music's most authentic voices and revered rule-breakers. The exhibit, which opens July 13 and runs through June 2024, is included with museum admission.

Having long eschewed industry norms with a sound and approach uniquely his own, the man praised by The Wall Street Journal as “knowledgeable and respectful of country’s history, but not shackled by it” has held tight to his artistic identity throughout his more than two decades in Nashville, earning a devoted audience and amassing an impressive list of accolades, including 10 Billboard #1 country radio hits and over 50 million units sold across multiple Gold, Platinum and multi-Platinum-certified albums. A revered storyteller, Church has also written or co-written almost all of the songs he has recorded and released. He continues to fill sold-out venues with his raucous live show, as well as challenge his own musical approach with every new level of success he achieves.

“Eric Church has done it his way completely,” said Kyle Young, CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. “His steadfast artistic vision and authenticity resonate deeply with audiences, and he continues to serve as an important collaborator and renegade role model for generations of country music artists.”

The exhibit will include musical instruments, song manuscripts, stage wear, tour memorabilia, awards, photographs and more from Church’s personal collection. Photos of artifacts featured in the exhibit can be found here. More information about the exhibit can be found on the museum’s website.

Examples of items to be displayed include:

  • A Harmony H-303 three-quarter-size acoustic guitar that belonged to Church when he was a child.
  • Ray-Ban Aviator Mirror sunglasses worn by Church onstage.
  • The Von Dutch trucker hat Church bought at a Mississippi truck stop in the late 2000s and began wearing onstage.
  • The outfit worn by Church on the album cover of The Outsiders and at the CMA Awards in 2013, which includes a Rogue two-tone leather jacket, John Varvatos shirt and Diesel jeans.
  • A sculpture made from vinyl records of various sizes, which replicates the soundwave of Church’s recording of “Record Year” and was used as a prop in the 2016 music video for the song.
  • A Gibson Eric Church Hummingbird Dark guitar. Church contributed to the design of the limited-edition guitar and used it on his “Double Down Tour” (2019).
  • The Tom Ford purple suede jacket that Church wore when he and Jazmine Sullivan sang the national anthem at Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, in 2021.

In support of the exhibit’s opening, the museum will host a public program, Writers’ Round: The Songs of Eric Church, featuring Luke Laird, Jeremy Spillman and others, on Saturday, July 15, at 2:30 p.m. in the museum’s Ford Theater. The writers will perform and share the stories behind the songs they have crafted with Church. To reserve tickets to the program or learn more about the exhibit, visit the museum’s website.

The exhibit’s announcement comes ahead of Church’s CMA Fest performance at Nissan Stadium this Saturday, June 10 and the kickoff of The Outsiders Revival Tour on June 22. The first fully outdoor tour of his career will feature a rotating lineup of emerging artists across varying dates, Whiskey Myers, Cody Jinks, Jelly Roll, Ashley McBryde, Koe Wetzel, Lainey Wilson, Midland, Parker McCollum, Travis Tritt, Elle King and Paul Cauthen, plus Jackson Dean, Morgan Wade, Muscadine Bloodline, Shane Smith & The Saints, Hailey Whitters, Ray Wylie Hubbard and The Red Clay Strays.
