#TOURINGNEWS - JON PARDI IS HITTING THE ROAD WITH LAINEY WILSON AND HAILEY WHITTERS FOR THE "AIN'T ALWAYS THE COWBOY" TOUR

CMA and ACM Award-winning singer/songwriter/producer Jon Pardi announced today his “Ain’t Always The Cowboy” tour named after his critically acclaimed song of the same name. The tour, presented by CASE Construction Equipment, is set to kick off in Irving, TX on July 14th and run through October 1 with a headlining show at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater. Tickets will be available to purchase HERE beginning March 4 at 10am local venue time.

“I’m really excited to take two great friends and great artists out as openers for the ‘Ain’t Always The Cowboy’ tour,” said Pardi. Additionally he shared with American Songwriter, “You get your buddies and put on a good show anywhere people will have you. Indeed, that’s what most heartens.”

Pardi broke the news in his American Songwriter February Issue Cover Story, where he opened up about his new single, “Last Night Lonely” and his upcoming tour with two of Nashville’s most respected women in country music - Lainey Wilson and Hailey Whitters. Whitters will not be on the last three shows of the tour. Pardi also discussed his new single-the first off of an upcoming project-“Last Night Lonely” in the Digital Cover story, telling American Songwriter “What I love most about music is the feelings. They make you dance, cry, have a drink. Fall in love or get the hell out of love. That’s why I love music and why it will always be a part of my life, your life—that’s why we’re here.”

“CASE Construction Equipment has been the ultimate sponsor and partner. As a kid who grew up in construction and agriculture it’s been a dream come true to work with them,” said Pardi. “I’m really excited about continuing this great partnership and having them on board for the ‘Ain’t Always The Cowboy’ tour.”

Pardi’s tour announcement comes after last week’s first look at his highly anticipated upcoming studio release with “Last Night Lonely.” The fiddle and steel-drenched track further etches Pardi’s “long-lasting mark on the genre” (Music Row), following his critically acclaimed third album, Heartache Medication. Nominated for Album of the Year by both the CMA and ACM, Heartache Medication was named one of Rolling Stone’s Best Country Albums of 2019 while standing as the only country album on the Los Angeles Times “Best Albums of the Year” list.

With an impressive ability to carve his own path proving “the kind of country music multiple generations came to know, and love can still work on a mass scale” (Variety), Pardi’s instantly identifiable twang, fiddle, and steel guitars “apply new ideas to country’s old sounds” (Los Angeles Times). Lauded as a “hero in the making” (Variety), he continues to “bring authenticity back into Country music” (People).

- Country Now

“With harmonies that might make bands from the Eagles to the Jonas Brothers green with envy, Restless Road blend three distinct voices into a one-of-a-kind sound....”

- Sounds Like Nashville

Restless Road has signed to Kane Brown’s new label, 1021 Entertainment, a worldwide joint venture with Sony Music Nashville. Variety first broke the news this morning, read more HERE. The trio (Zach Beeken, Colton Pack, Garrett Nichols) are “poised to emerge into 2021 stronger than ever” (Country Now) and are officially debuting their first single “Took One Look At Her Momma,” via 1021 Entertainment/Sony Music Nashville. Listen to the song, here: https://rr.lnk.to/tolahm.

“We are excited to welcome Restless Road to the Sony Music Nashville roster. Colton, Zach, and Garrett each bring undeniable talent, dedication, and innovation to this trio. It has also been rewarding to collaborate on this project with Kane and watch him mentor and advise as a label partner in ways only a superstar artist can,” said Margaret Tomlin, Sony Music Nashville Director, A&R.

"I want to give people chances to succeed. With 1021 Entertainment, I feel like we have a platform and team that can mentor and build up talent in country music. With my own label, I want to use it as an opportunity to shape and promote artists that may not have gotten a chance otherwise, for Restless Road and others in the future," said Brown.

Took One Look At Her Momma,”was co-written by Restless Road with Lindsay Rimes and Andy Albert and playfully explores the old adage that women are similar to their mothers. The trio was first inspired to write about the topic after considering a few words of advice from Nichols’ father.

“The song stemmed from a really entertaining conversation my dad and I had where he was, basically sharing fatherly wisdom on everything from fishing to finding the right woman. We loved the idea of ‘Took One Look At Her Momma’ as a song title, and once we all got into the writing room it came together pretty quickly from there,” said Nichols.

Featured in Billboard, CMT’s “Off The Road” and EXTRA, Restless Road kicked off the year among several Artist To Watch lists including Pandora’s Artist To Watch lineup in 2021, calling the trio’s “...different styles and influences made for the perfect country-pop collision…” Sounds Like Nashville added, “The buzz and fan excitement ... has the trio fired up for a big year,” and Country Now said the band is, “...poised to emerge into 2021 stronger than ever.”

Restless Road announced their publishing deal to SONY/ATV this past winter, and revealed the music video for their fan-favorite song “One Step Ahead.” The music video features the trio recreating their real first dates with their real-life love interests, and the song is off their debut, self-titled EP Restless Road. The country music trio catapulted into the National spotlight quickly, when they announced their debut EP and working relationship with mentor and multi-platinum Entertainer Kane Brown on NBC’s “Today” show. The multi-instrumentalists and impressive vocalists performed their hit “Take Me Home (With Kane Brown),” the only officially approved reimagining of the classic John Denver song ever to be approved by the John Denver estate, on NBC’s “Today.” The band also toured sold-out arenas on Brown’s Worldwide Beautiful Tour, including the famed Los Angeles area, STAPLES Center.

Restless Road’s self-titled debut EP was produced by Dann Huff and co-producer Lindsay Rimes. The trio co-wrote three of the four songs on the EP with a roster of hit-making collaborators. PopCulture, Young Hollywood, and CelebSecrets highlighted the trio’s “flawless harmonies” (CMChat) and “mix of modern and traditional country sounds” (Sounds Like Nashville). Their single, “Take Me Home (With Kane Brown)” was featured on Radio Disney Country, and with a special acoustic performance at VEVO New York headquarters. Restless Road shared more about their impressive rise in a special video for fans, view it here https://youtu.be/ZwxLTJRgk3o

Brown, who worked as an official mentor on “The Voice” last season, has a history of developing and supporting new talent behind the scenes. The Global entertainer is one of the most successful new artists in Country music and has been called “the future of country” (Billboard) and one of the “31 People Changing the South” (Time). His latest album, Experiment, debuted #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. His follow-up EP, Mixtape Vol. 1, earned the 5X AMA winner the highest EP debut of 2020 and highest first-week on-demand stream total since Sam Hunt’s SOUTHSIDE album debut. Brown first made history as the first artist ever to lead all five of Billboard’s main country charts simultaneously. His 2X Platinum self-titled debut album spent 13 weeks at No. 1 and earned Brown two 6X Platinum hits: “Heaven,” the third most streamed country song of all time, and his first #1 on country radio, “What Ifs,” joining both, at the time, Taylor Swift and Luke Bryan as the only artists with multiple 6X Platinum or more country songs certified by the RIAA. Brown has headlined multiple sold-out headlining arena tours, including his sold-out performance at Staples Center in Los Angeles, where Brown became one of only 10 other country artists to sell-out the world-renowned venue. JON PARDI EARNS FOURTH #1 AND AMASSES 138 MILLION ON-DEMAND STREAMS WITH GOLD-CERTIFIED SINGLE “HEARTACHE MEDICATION”

Platinum-selling singer/songwriter/producer Jon Pardi earns his fourth #1 at Country radio today, and surpasses 138 million on-demand streams with Gold-certified hit,“Heartache Medication.” Topping both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase Airplay charts, “Heartache Medication” is the title-track off Pardi’s highly-praised album Heartache Medication, which debuted among the top albums on Billboard’s Country Albums chart and earned overwhelming critical-acclaim by NPR, Associated Press, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Billboard, ET, EXTRA, Variety, People and Rolling Stone. “Heartache Medication” marks the ACM/CMA winner’s fourth #1 single joining previous chart-topping hits “Dirt On My Boots,” “Head Over Boots,” “Heartache On The Dance Floor” and Top 5 “Night Shift.”

In addition to being selected by The New York Times as one of the most anticipated albums of the season and by Rolling Stone’s “Best Albums of the Year” list, Heartache Medication also earned a coveted slot on the Los Angeles Times “Best Albums of the Year” (#4) list, as the only country artist/album represented. Additionally, Pardi was selected by Nashville Lifestyles as the January cover star of their annual Music Issue, and was named to the Nashville Scene’s year-end Critic’s Poll.

Lauded as an artist with an impressive ability to carve out his own path, Pardi has been hailed for his potential to leave “a long-lasting mark on the genre” (Music Row), as well as his talent creating “the kind of country music multiple generations came to know and love can still work on a mass scale” (Variety). Filled with fiddle, twang and steel guitar, Pardi continues to “apply new ideas to country’s old sounds” (Los Angeles Times) and “bring authenticity back into Country music” (People).

Heartache Medication is the follow up to the California native’s breakthrough, #1 Platinum-selling album, California Sunrise. Like California Sunrise, which “split the difference between Alan Jackson and Bob Seger...Heartache Medication-continues that direction with honky-tonkin’, boot-stompin’ tracks” (The New York Times).

A three-time co-producer, Pardi’s multi-platinum, chart-topping hits have been noted for “attracting youthful crowds” (NPR), while Heartache Medication is “an emboldened work, a distilling of his sound into a more potent form — one that draws both vitality and assurance from his anything-but-sterile relationship to his tradition’s modern era” (NPR).

Pardi is featured on Thomas Rhett’s current Top 25-and-climbing single at Country radio “Beer Can’t Fix” and is touring nationwide. Upcoming stops include; Nashville Lifestyles Music in the City event in Nashville, TN (2/5), which benefits Make A Wish Foundation, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo in San Antonio, TX (2/9) and the Houston Rodeo in Houston, TX (3/14), where Pardi remains one of the top-selling acts along with Chris Stapleton and Willie Nelson.

MAGGIE ROSE RELEASES CHANGE THE WHOLE THING DELUXE EDITION AND PREMIERES NEW VIDEO

“...her breakthrough album Change The Whole Thing...has had as significant a ripple effect as its title would suggest…”
- Paste

Powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Maggie Rose is releasing Change The Whole Thing Deluxe Edition today. The critically-acclaimed album features new bonus track “Can’t Miss Something,” revealed exclusively via Paste (HERE), calling it “...a retro rocker…” The 17-track Deluxe Edition also includes intimate acoustic versions of some of Rose’s most personal songs including “Change The Whole Thing,” “It’s You” along with a never-before-heard work tape from the day “Pull You Through” was written. Rolling Stone shared more in an exclusive interview with Rose about the Deluxe Edition and premiered the music video for bonus track “Can’t Miss Something.” The “Can’t Miss Something” music video will also debut across Ditty TV’s “The Curve” on Wed. (12/11) at 10 p.m. CT. Change The Whole Thing (Deluxe Edition) is available, here: https://maggierose.lnk.to/CTWTDeluxe.

“I’ve received such overwhelming support from listeners and fans since the release of this album, which made this past year so magical and transformative. So, with gratitude, I wanted to share some special acoustic versions of a few of the tracks that seemed to resonate the most. It feels satisfying to wrap the year on that note and share every last bit of this project that was so important to me,” said Rose.

Rose’s breakthrough album Change The Whole Thing was recorded entirely live in the studio and released to overwhelming critical-acclaim. Rose marked major milestones with first-time performances on NBC’s “Today Show,” Southwest’s Live at 35, a debut at AmericanaFest with a show-stopping performance as part of WMOT/NPR’s Wired In series, AOL Build, Paste Sessions and more. In addition to her head-turning live performances, critics applauded Rose’s independent rise, after nearly a decade at various labels, both independent and major, and her ability to transcend genres performing with a range of artists. This past year, she toured nationwide on her headlining Change The Whole Thing tour, and made first-time festival appearances aboard the Cayamo Cruise, Peach Music Festival, and opened select tour stops with rock icons Heart and Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, and pop superstar Kelly Clarkson.

Rose’s ability to embrace her creative freedom in the studio as an independent artist and capture the synergy of her live performances continued to open the floodgates. Critics raved about her live performances including Rolling Stone who named her in their list of 20 Must See Acts (out of 700), USA Today who named her in their list of “...performers who’ll go above and beyond, define a moment…,” and The Nashville Scene who called her performance, “...visually striking, full-sounding, and highly entertaining…” The Washington Post shared, “...louder, looser, more spontaneous...her voice, which has always threatened to incinerate the eyebrows of anyone sitting in the front row…” and Columbus Alive added that her voice “...could run circles around most of the singers on country and pop radio today…”

Change The Whole Thing (Deluxe Edition) comes just after the one-year anniversary celebration of Rose’s breakthrough album Change The Whole Thing. To mark the occasion, Rose released documentary film “Change The Whole Thing” about the making of the record, available here: https://maggierose.lnk.to/CTWTAnniversary

Rose is currently in the studio working on new music and is wrapping her headlining Change The Whole Thing tour this winter with shows in Birmingham, AL (12/6), Atlanta, GA (12/7), and a sold out show in Bethesda, MD (12/21).

Pre-Sale Tickets Are Available on Tuesday, August 13th

General On Sale Tickets Are Available On Friday, August 16th

ACM/CMA award-winning artist Jon Pardi will host a special Heartache Medication album release event and headlining concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, NY on release day (9/27). Marking his first-ever headlining performance at the legendary venue, Pardi will bring his acclaimed, high-energy blend of “...fiddles, twangy Bakersfield-style guitars and swinging pedal steel…” (Associated Press), and live performance that’s put him at “...country music’s forefront for years to come…” (City Pages). The added Hammerstein Ballroom concert will be a one-of-a-kind, stand alone show and will feature special guest Tyler Rich, opening the evening. Live Nation is the official promoter and fan club presale tickets start on Tuesday, Aug. 13th at 10 a.m. EST. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting on Friday, Aug. 16th at 10 a.m. EST. For tickets and more information, visit http://www.jonpardi.com.

Providing listeners with a traditional set of songs that punch the radio dial with an album that is even a stronger dose of twang than its predecessors, Pardi has set the record as “...a beacon lighting up the darkness to lead us back to true country music (Music Row).” Pardi is featured as a co-writer on several of the songs on his forthcoming album, and returns as a producer for the third time (California Sunrise, Write You A Song). Heartache Medication pairs him again with California Sunrise co-producer Bart Butler, and with Ryan Gore joining as first-time co-producer.

Pardi will kick off his Heartache Medication Tour with his first-ever, two back-to-back, sold out headlining shows at the historic Ryman Auditorium on Oct. 1st and Oct. 2nd.

Recognized for his "state-of-the-art blend of traditional instrumentation and progressive grooves that points to the country's future” (Rolling Stone) and as “a leader among a growing number of artists bringing back fiddle, steel and twang while still finding ways to freshen the sound” (People), Heartache Medication is the follow up to Pardi’s co-produced Platinum-selling breakthrough #1 album California Sunrise, which featured Multi-Platinum, chart-topping hits including “Dirt on My Boots,” “Head Over Boots,” “Heartache on the Dance Floor” and “Night Shift."

Platinum-selling artist Jon Pardi today announced his highly-anticipated new album, tour and single titled Heartache Medication, following his show-stopping performance on the season finale of "American Idol" with Idol winner Laine Hardy. Set for release on September 27, Pardi’s upcoming album, Heartache Medication, includes the album’s lead single and title track (set to impact country radio June 3 and available now). Co-written by Pardi, Barry Dean and Natalie Hemby, Pardi revealed the new single showcases a taste of what is to come on the next record exclusively to the Associated Press, noting “the songs lift you up. They put you in a higher place.”

"The single 'Heartache Medication' has an 80’s George Strait 'Fool Hearted Memory' feel to it, and is something people can dance to,” said Pardi. “That’s something I really wanted for this album. There really are no sad songs on this record-it covers a range of subjects, but is ultimately about moving on, and having a good time.”

Recognized for his "state-of-the-art blend of traditional instrumentation and progressive grooves that points to country's future” (Rolling Stone) and as “a leader among a growing number of artists bringing back fiddle, steel and twang while still finding ways to freshen the sound” (People), Pardi again serves as a co-producer on the new album, Heartache Medication. Heartache Medication is the follow up to Pardi’s co-produced Platinum-selling breakthrough #1 album California Sunrise, which featured Multi-Platinum, chart-topping hits including “Dirt on My Boots,” “Head Over Boots,” “Heartache on the Dancefloor” and “Night Shift."

The CMA and ACM Award-winner also revealed plans for his HEARTACHE MEDICATION TOUR featuring direct support Riley Green,* with select pre-sale opportunities starting May 28 and tickets available to purchase everywhere starting May 31. Marking a career first, Pardi will headline back-to-back nights at the historic Ryman Auditorium, where he will kick off his headlining HEARTACHE MEDICATION TOUR in Nashville on Oct. 1 and 2.
