COLLIN RAYE TO PERFORM SPECIAL CLASSIC ROCK CONCERT AT NASHVILLE'S 3RD & LINDSLEY
"I'm very excited to be performing with our new rock 'n' roll band, The Riff Raff, later this month at 3rd & Lindsley," says Raye. "It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. It's a tribute to the greatest American and British rock 'n' roll music of all time!"
The live concert, titled Collin Raye and The Riff Raff: A Salute to Classic Rock, kicks-off at 8 p.m. local time in Music City.
"I grew up on classic country music artists like Haggard, Jones, Buck, Cash, Waylon, Johnny Horton, Charley Pride, Tammy Wynette, Dolly, Connie Smith, Ray Price, and all the greats," Raye continues. "But I discovered rock 'n' roll in my teens and grew to love it as well. My brother and I played a lot of both styles of music throughout our youth and were influenced by both genres."
Raye believes the live event will take concertgoers on a musical journey to a time when life seemed a little less chaotic. "My goal with The Riff Raff is to take the audience back to another time in their lives when we were young and carefree with life still ahead of us," he explains. "For two or three hours, we'll be young and carefree again! We feel the atmosphere at 3rd & Lindsley is an ideal place to do this. I invite everyone who loves classic rock to come out and see us for a night of fun and musical nostalgia!"

Travis Meadows spent years trying to escape himself. He’s anything but selfish, so he’d find a way to get away––a bottle, a bag, a sermon––and he’d share it with everyone. That was then. Now, Meadows isn’t trying to get anybody lost or high. Instead, he’s trying to get every single one of us to settle in deeply to ourselves––and love what’s there. “I feel like what I’m doing is giving people permission to be okay with who they are, where they’re at now,” Meadows says. “A lot of us say stuff like, ‘If I’d been married to this guy or this girl, or if I had enough money, or if I had a better job. If I wasn’t an alcoholic, or if I drank more. If this, if that, then, I think I could be a better person.’” He pauses. “I think the key to life is being okay with who you are.”
“Life can be a little challenging for all of us. It’s beautiful and it’s tragic, it’s awesome and it hurts,” Meadows says. “I hope people sense that through this record and want to come to a show, which is a lot of storytelling, a lot of tears, a lot of laughter. They’ll come face to face with a damn lot of humanity. I hope they see themselves in it.”

Gabe Dixon Website - http://www.gabedixon.com/
Gabe Dixon will release his sophomore solo album, Turns To Gold, on April 8, 2016. Produced by Paul Moak (Mat Kearney, Third Day), engineered by Devin Vaughan (Marc Broussard), and mastered by Brad Blackwood at Euphonics Mastering (Allison Krauss & Union Station, Luther Dickinson), the LP marks Gabe’s first official collection as an independent artist. Following the release of 2011’s One Spark, theNashville-based troubadour changed almost everything. He was focused on starting from scratch, and parted ways with his longtime management and record label, Concord Music Group. The one thing that didn’t change was that honest, heartfelt approach to songwriting that countless fans fell in love with when he first emerged in 1999.
Turns To Gold addresses some weighty subjects—mortality, what’s important in life, and the value of love. “In many ways, my new music is about learning how to be in a committed relationship, leave immature ways behind, grow, evolve, and move on from habits that aren’t necessarily who you are anymore,” he says. The album was recorded atThe Smoakstack recording studio in Berry Hill, TN with Jano Rix on drums (The Wood Brothers), Viktor Krauss on bass (Lyle Lovett), andKris Donegan on guitar (Cam). “I wanted to go in with musicians and get performances that were inspiring and inspired, and take it from there. Producer Paul Moak was completely on the same page. We cut everything to analog tape with no click track. What results is an album that feels very natural. Since One Spark I learned to trust myself, and the sound of Turns To Gold is the most representative of who I am. It’swarm, laid-back, acoustic, and live.”
The opener and first single, “Holding Her Freedom,” out now, coasts between a shimmering piano melody, organ swell, guitar rumble, and heavenly vocal performance from Gabe. It also conveys a cinematic narrative. “It’s a story about a woman who has been burned by love, and she’s afraid to let herself be vulnerable and fall in love again,” he explains. “She’s figuratively holding her freedom like a cage. That same ‘freedom’ keeps her trapped and unable to love again.” The album’s second single, “The Way To Love Me,” features Natalie Prass and will be released on February 5th. “Natalie’s voice has the perfect delicate and vulnerable qualities that the song required,” says Gabe. “She recorded it while passing through Nashville to play the Ryman Auditorium, part of a long tour opening for Ryan Adams.”

RECKLESS KELLY BRINGS "EXPLOSIVE" LIVE SHOW TO NASHVILLE'S THIRD & LINDSLEY OCTOBER 30
PRESS RELEASE
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — When Willy Braun, frontman and principal songwriter for the Grammy-winning band, Reckless Kelly, began writing songs for Long Night Moon, he quickly found a theme emerging. “About halfway through writing this record, I noticed that almost all of the songs I was writing, whether they were songs about the road, life, or love, had something to do with traveling. It started as an accident and I decided to just go with it. Before we knew it, there was a definite theme.” It’s honest, original and constantly evolving.
The group is known for their explosive live shows and a passion for making albums of substance. Long Night Moon is no exception to this rule.
Reckless Kelly is set to bring their show to Nashville's 3rd & Lindsley on Thursday, October 30 @ 8:00 p.m. Joining Reckless Kelly will be Mickey & The Motorcars.
Reckless Kelly's 8th studio album, Long Night Moon, is the follow-up to 2011's Grammy nominated Good Luck & True Love, which took home four Lone Star Music Awards, and sent three singles to #1 on Texas Radio.

MICHAEL MARTIN MURPHEY SCHEDULES NASHVILLE STOP
PRESS RELEASE
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — In the early 1970s, Rolling Stone Magazine called Michael Martin Murphey “one of the best songwriters in America.” Since that time, Murphey has left an indelible mark on the American Music Landscape crafting and recording such iconic hits as “Wildfire,” “Carolina In The Pines”, “Geronimo’s Cadillac”, “Cowboy Logic,” “Cherokee Fiddle”, “Boy From The Country” and more. In the process, he has topped the Pop, Country, Bluegrass and Western Music charts, earned six gold albums and multiple Grammy nominations.
Murphey will appear in Nashville, Tennessee onWednesday, September 17 at Third & Lindsley
(818 Third Ave. S) at 7:00 p.m.
For more information call 615-259-9891 or visit http://www.3rdandlindsley.com/
Through all the chart-jumping and genre-busting, Murphey has remained constant to an honest, sophisticated approach to his songwriting. His new Red River Drifter is a collection that draws from a deep well of eclectic influences ranging from classical to country, blues to bluegrass, pop to western. In fact, it’s simply impossible to pigeon-hole Murphey to one specific genre. He is no more country than rock, no more bluegrass than classical. He is, rather, a true AMERICAN songwriter.
“What I’ve written over the years has always reflected what was influencing me at the time,” says Murphey. “This album is a return to those days when I was influenced by everything. Right now, some really interesting , intricate melodies are coming to me.”
A native Texan, Murphey’s songs have always reflected his lifestyle, and are understandably seen through a Western lens, often built on outdoor themes with the sensibilities of his cowboy lifestyle. From the first notes of the bluegrass-driven “Peaceful Country,” Red River Drifter takes listeners on a journey through the broad spectrum of music Murphey absorbs while traveling from city to city — up to 200 dates a year — from coast to coast.
At the core of his music is a stubborn determination to be the best songwriter he can be, a focus that has led to his songs being covered by such artists as Lyle Lovett, John Denver, Kenny Rogers, Hoyt Axton, The Monkees and more. “I spend a lot of time on the road listening to all kinds of music,” he says. “I grew up in Texas, the world’s number one musical crossroads where anything goes musically. Texas has produced great artists from every genre. You can wake up and say ‘today, I think I’ll write a symphony’ and you can find an audience for it there. The same can be said about any genre in music. Texans love music. They enjoy opera and they enjoy bluegrass. I am a product of that, and I am the Number One fan of all types of music.”
Red River Drifter was produced by guitar ace Pat Flynn and Ryan Murphey, who has produced Murphey’s last three albums. The majority of the songs were written while the group was working a month-long series of shows in Colorado. “We had a great place to sit on the back porch and look out at the mountains. It was like sitting there like an eagle on a perch looking at life.”
It is an approach that has worked well for Murphey. According to BMI, Murphey has 5 million-performance songs — “Wildfire” (3.9 million), “Cherokee Fiddle” (1.92 million), “Carolina In The Pines” (1.65 million), “Talking To The Wrong Man” (1.21 million), “Still Takin’ Chances” (1.2) — and a total of 11 award-winning BMI songs (6 in Country and 5 in Pop). Also, according to BMI, repeat, back to back performances of his award winning songs alone, with each song averaging 3 minutes each, would amount to 64 years of continuous airplay.

THE PEACH PICKERS CELEBRATE GEORGIA'S MUSICAL CONTRIBUTIONS WITH SPECIAL CELEBRATION AT 3RD AND LINDSLEY ON MAY 20
NASHVILLE - Tenn. -- May 15, 2014 – Expect a hit parade at 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville on May 20 when Jameson® Irish Whiskey in partnership with The Peach Pickers and Friends host “Georgia On My Mind: A Night of Georgia Music.” Dallas Davidson, Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip, who write collectively as the Peach Pickers, are gathering together other Georgia expatriates living in Nashville to celebrate their home state by performing songs written or made famous by Georgians. Artists and songwriters set to perform include Pat Alger, Tony Arata, Luke Bryan, Brent Cobb, Sonia Leigh, Jordan Rager, Daryle Singletary, Cole Swindell and Cole Taylor. Admission is $25 and proceeds benefit the Georgia Music Foundation, a non-profit organization chaired by Davidson that is celebrating 20 years of supporting programs that foster an appreciation for Georgia’s rich music heritage.
“It’s crazy how many musicians and songwriters on the charts are from Georgia and how many homegrown influences we have in common from Otis Redding and the Allman Brothers Band to Ray Charles and Gram Parsons,” Davidson said. “It’s really grounding to have a shared sense of identity around our state, the Flint, Tybee, the pecan trees, the Varsity, the Braves…I think it’s those authentic Georgia traditions and roots that have resonated with audiences over the decades and that will make this night like a family reunion.”
Musicians from Georgia have long been a vital part of country music. Early recording pioneers like Fiddlin’ John Carson and Gid Tanner & the Skillet Lickers set the stage for artists like Brenda Lee, Bill Anderson, Jerry Reed, Pete Drake, Emory Gordy Jr., Ray Stevens, T. Graham Brown, Alan Jackson, Trisha Yearwood, Travis Tritt, Doug Stone, John Berry and more to make their marks. Songwriters from the Peach State have also helped to shape country music, from Boudleaux and Felice Bryant to John Jarrard, Tony Arata, Pat Alger, Bruch Burch, Hillary Lindsey and more. Today, chart-toppers like Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Billy Currington, Florida Georgia Line, Brantley Gilbert, Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town, Kip Moore, Cole Swindell, Sugarland, Daryle Singletary, Doug Stone, Josh Kelley, Lauren Alaina, Colt Ford and Zac Brown Band ensure that Georgia music is on the minds of country music fans all over the world.
“The state of Georgia couldn’t ask for better ambassadors than our country musicians and songwriters,” said Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Chris Carr. “Whether it’s Alan Jackson singing about the Chattahoochee or Luke Bryan bringing Parade magazine to his hometown of Leesburg – Georgia artists are always talking about their Georgia roots. We hope this event serves to strengthen relationships and develop new mutually beneficial partnerships between Nashville and Georgia’s music industry.”
The presenting partner of “Georgia On My Mind” recognizes the value in celebrating Georgia’s contributions to country music. “Jameson• Irish Whiskey has always supported local communities where music is at the heart, so we are delighted to support the coming together of Georgia’s amazing local talent for such a great cause,” said Sonia Bajaria, Brand Director.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and music starts at 8 p.m. Expect lots of special guests and the Braves vs. Brewers game to be on any televisions in the room.

A possible modern reincarnate of one part Patsy Cline, one part Kathryn Hepburn, and two parts all her own, Emily West brings her rich, distinctive vocals that echo the charming voices of the past, while adding her own unique brand of flare. Her voice and music is somewhat undefinable, somewhat a collaboration of music genres, and often times referred to as "enchanting" for good reason.
Emily was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, and moved to Nashville after graduating high school. A once shy child in a large family, Emily blossomed when she discovered the legendary Patsy Cline. "I started to come out of my shell a little bit. I was amazed by this lady and how she sang all these love songs. It was vulnerable and desperate and honest. No eight-year-old really gets all of that, but I could feel some beauty and truth in the pain."
In 2010, West was nominated for an ACM award for Vocal Event of the Year with her song Blue Sky featuring Keith Urban. West was signed to Capitol Nashville in 2003, and her singles include Rocks in Your Shoes and Blue Sky. She is independently releasing a new record out soon for download in the fall.
