LORRIE MORGAN TO RELEASE A PICTURE OF ME – GREATEST HITS & MORE ON MARCH 18

Compilation Album Featuring New Recordings of Greatest Hits and Brand New Songs Follows First New Studio Album in Five Years, 'Letting Go… Slow', In Stores Now

Pre-Order On iTunes and Amazon!

Good things come in pairs, and this season legendary country music songstress Lorrie Morgan celebrates two new album releases, back-to-back. Following the February 12 release of her first new studio album in five years, Letting Go… Slow, released by Shanachie Entertainment, Morgan will celebrate the juxtaposed March 18 drop of a brand new compilation album, A Picture Of Me – Greatest Hits & More. The new project is a product of Goldenlane Records, (a division of Cleopatra Records), a label that's been extremely active in the country music genre, having recently released new albums by such stars as the Oak Ridge Boys, Collin Raye, Little Texas and TG Sheppard, amongst others. A Picture Of Me – Greatest Hits & More is now available for pre-order on iTunes and Amazon.

Having lived a life of great loss and triumph, Morgan has been quoted saying, “In many ways, my life has been a country song.” In an article published by People Magazine Morgan revealed that although a lot of good things have happened to her, the tragedies have been overwhelming. Devastated by the loss of her father, country star George Morgan when she was just 16; and then the unexpected death of her husband and fellow country star Keith Whitley when she was in her late twenties, Morgan’s first years of career success were far from painless.

Her song “Dear Me” became her first Top 10 hit shortly after Whitley’s death, followed by “Out Of Your Shoes,” and “Five Minutes,” which both skyrocketed to No. 1. “Here I am,” she told People Magazine, “In this tragedy, and I had something I had wanted for so long, a hit record. And as much as I thank God, I say, ‘thanks, but please – make it a little easier.’” Through the years, Morgan has credited her audiences for being her therapists and helping her make it through those hard times through music.

Now, nearly two decades later, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, legendary country star and four-time Female Vocalist Of The Year, she says she is happier than ever, and two new music projects on the horizon are just icing on the cake.

“Letting Go… Slow is all new music about where I am right now and what all I’ve been through and was forced to learn about all along this crazy journey called life, and A Picture Of Me – Greatest Hits & More is a representation of how far I’ve come,” Morgan said. “This compilation album is, truly, a picture of me – my biggest hits and those songs that have hit me the hardest or inspired me the most over the years. I am very proud of them both.”

Featuring newly re-recorded versions of her top hits “Watch Me,” “Something In Red,” “Good As I Was To You,” “Five Minutes,” “Except For Monday, “ A Picture Of Me (Without You)," "What Part Of No,” and brand-new songs like Dottie West’s “Here Comes My Baby,” A Picture Of Me – Greatest Hits & More also features never-before-heard songs from Morgan like “I Went Crazy For Awhile” and “Hopelessly Yours,” written and co-written by Keith Whitley. Morgan also includes beautiful renditions of Tammy Wynette’s “’Til I Can Make It On My Own,” and George Jones’s “Loving You Could Never Be Better.”

The album is produced by Matt Legge.

COLLIN RAYE INSPIRES ON WORLD STAGE

Multi-Platinum Selling Country Music Artist and Catholic Convert Headlines
‘Two Nations, One Faith’ Papal Telecast Event

EL PASO, Texas (February 18, 2016) – It was a communion of technology, faith and worship at the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso Wednesday, Feb. 17. Before Pope Francis delivered a blessing to a crowd of approximately 45,000 at the Two Nations, One Faith Papal Telecast during his historic Mass across the border in Juarez, Mexico, multi-platinum selling country music artist Collin Raye inspired event-goers on a world stage. As the headliner of the prelude to the anticipated telecast, Raye shared his personal testimony of faith and performed his inspirational music from his album, His Love Remains, the top rated "Praise and Worship" CD on Amazon in 2012.

Raye, who converted to Catholicism at the age of 23, is a 10-time Male Vocalist Of The Year Award nominee and multiple No. 1 country hit-maker with songs like “Love, Me,” and “In This Life,” captivated the melting pot of diverse cultures with his moving performance of songs like "Give Me Jesus," "Here I am Lord," "How Great Thou Art," and his top five single, "Love Remains," which Raye said he always viewed as a hymn when he recorded it in 1995. Raye performed alongside rising singer Andrea Thomas. The two sang "How Beautiful," before Thomas electrified the Sun Bowl with "Ave Maria," sung in the traditional Latin.

“I was so blessed to be able to donate my time and talent for this beautiful event. The Pope’s visit to the border was unforgettable,” he said.

Days prior to the worldwide broadcast, Bishop Mark J. Seitz of The El Paso Catholic Diocese said, “We want to demonstrate [through this event] to The Holy Father that our two nations, and our two sister cities, embody ‘Two Nations, One Faith.’ Pope Francis’ visit to this region will be a historic moment for these communities, and give a voice to the often voiceless, especially children and families who are at the center of the critical issues facing the border.”

A frequent inspirational speaker at Christian and Catholic events, Collin Raye often tells the poignant story of losing his granddaughter Haley to a rare neurological disorder, and the challenges that come with understanding God’s will in traumatic loss. He testifies through the process, God has faithfully led him to see things envisioned for his life now, which he could not see before.

“God has a larger purpose. Rarely is he going to do what you want him to do – and thank God for that,” Raye said.

“If my life has taught me anything that I want to share with people –we all can learn to be still and listen to God when we pray… just say, ‘Lord, just do whatever with me. Utilize whatever of me you can,’” he added.

In 2011, Raye released his first inspirational album, His Love Remains, which quickly shot to No. 1 on Amazon for inspirational and religious music. It is a compilation of unique renditions of classic hymns as well as originals, written by Raye, like “Undefeated,” “I Get What I Need,” and “Love Remains.”

JUSTIN MOORE PREMIERES "YOU LOOK LIKE I NEED A DRINK" MUSIC VIDEO EXCLUSIVELY ON CMT

Comedy-Laden Clip Goes Live This Saturday (2/13)

With a storyline reminiscent of Groundhog Day, Justin Moore goes back in time for a wild Western showdown in the new music video for his latest release “You Look Like I Need a Drink.” The clip premieres exclusively on JustinMoore.CMT.com beginning at 12:01am ET on Saturday, February 13 in addition to the on-air debut during CMT Hot 20 Countdown at 9am ET. The video will be available to all partners on Monday, February 15.

Directed by Shane Drake and shot in Los Angeles, Moore is able to live out all of his Western fantasies. Between riding a horse, tumbleweeds, bandits and bar fights, there is no shortage of classic Wild West flavor on screen.

“This may be my favorite video I’ve ever shot,” shared Moore. “I am a huge Western fan, and we shot one with a dose of comedy.”

“He keeps repeating the day only in different ways and different forms and shapes,” continued Drake of the plot. “We had to keep redressing the same set and have Justin do a lot of the same actions…”

Moore is on the hunt for a wanted lady and must repeat the same day – walking in the same bar – but in different circumstances each time until he finds the woman on the poster.

Moore will perform “You Look Like I Need A Drink,” along with his five chart-topping hits, on the road this summer with Brantley Gilbert’s TAKE IT OUTSIDE TOUR. For more information and tour dates, please visit www.justinmooremusic.com.

THE KENTUCKY HEADHUNTERS ANNOUNCE FIRST-EVER EUROPEAN TOUR DATES

GRAMMY-Winning Southern Rock Band Added To Bill For Sweden Rock Festival and Ramblin’ Man Fair Alongside Smoldering Headliners Queen + Adam Lambert, Twisted Sister, Foreigner, Whitesnake and Black Stone Cherry

Richard Young of The Kentucky Headhunters has a fear of flying, but this time, that won’t be stopping him. The GRAMMY/CMA/ACM winning southern rock group will get a little closer to the “Spirit In The Sky” as the stars have finally lined up for the Heads to jet-set Europe for main stage performances at both the Sweden Rock Festival June 9 in Solvesborg, Sweden, and the Ramblin’ Man Fair July 24 in Maidstone, Kent, UK. Headlining the Sweden Rock Festival are Queen + Adam Lambert, Twisted Sister, Foreigner; and at the top of the bill for the Ramblin’ Man Fair are Whitesnake and Black Stone Cherry.

Although the Headhunters perform nearly 100 dates per year across the U.S. and Canada, their conventional way of getting to and from has always been their tour bus. Hundreds of thousands of miles have passed underneath those wheels since the late 80s. Richard Young preferred them planted firmly on the ground.

“I’m terrified to fly,” he said. “But I’m not going to pass up the opportunity to go to Europe and perform with some of the greatest rock bands in history.”

Young credits his friend Martin at the Fresh Start Agency in Europe and his son John Fred for landing these great opportunities for the Headhunters.

The band will perform their own set on the festivals’ main stages, but also hopes to jam with ‘kin-folk’ Kentucky rockers Black Stone Cherry at Ramblin’ Man Fair. Black Stone Cherry is racking up rave reviews on their second headlining arena tour in the UK. The drummer of the band, John Fred Young, is Richard’s son and also the nephew of The Kentucky Headhunter’s drummer, Fred Young.

“It’s really gonna be cool for The Heads and BSC to play on the same stage in the UK. Both bands are two generations of family based out of the same town, Edmonton, Kentucky,” said Richard Young.

The Kentucky Headhunters are fresh off of the 2015 release of their new blues album Meet Me In Bluesland, (released by Alligator Records), featuring the pianist Rolling Stone called “the greatest sideman in rock and roll” – Johnnie Johnson. The album received rave reviews from outlets like No Depression which writes, “Age has only improved this offering, rockin’ Appalachia-billy that’ll put a big ole grin on your face,” and Blues Blast Magazine which adds, “The beautiful piano work and synergy between Johnson and the Headhunters is something that should not be missed. It is a raucous and wonderful album.” The project was also named No. 12 on the list of the most-played albums of 2015 published by Living Blues Magazine. UK-based The Blues Magazine gave Meet Me In Bluesland a slot in the Top 50 essential rock and blues albums of the year.

LORRIE MORGAN TO RELEASE FIRST SOLO ALBUM IN FIVE YEARS

Letting Go… Slow Out February 12 on Shanachie Entertainment

“I have been a daughter, a bride, a mother, a divorcee, a widow, a single mother, a grandmother, a breadwinner, and, ultimately a survivor. It seems, in many ways, I am a living, breathing country song, and I know what I sing.” – Lorrie Morgan

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (December 21, 2015) – Lorrie Morgan dominated the 90s with top-charting hits like "What Part Of No," "Except For Monday," "Five Minutes," and "Watch Me," and celebrates a career spanning four decades with over 8 million albums sold. A multiple Female Vocalist Of The Year Award-Winner, she is the first female country star in history to have ever garnered three consecutive albums certified Platinum. In 2016, the country music songstress is back with her first solo album in five years. Morgan will release Letting Go… Slow on February 12, 2016 on Shanachie Entertainment. The album follows her collaboration album, Dos Divas, released with Pam Tillis in 2013.

Letting Go… Slow features 12 tracks, some upbeat and sassy like her top hits “What Part Of No,” and “Five Minutes,” others pensive and heart-rending. Produced by Richard Landis, (whose credits include some of Morgan’s top hits, Vince Gill, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band), the album seemingly takes on some of Morgan’s most challenging life experiences through song in soulful ballads like “What I’d Say,” “Slow,” and a powerful cover of Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers’ “I’ve Done Enough Dying Today.” She’s witty and radiant on “Jesus and Hairspray,” embraces the classic country sound on “Strange,” and expands her musical depth on a cover of Bob Dylan’s classic, “Lay Lady Lay.”

The keen production on each track highlights her signature vocals, which have long been praised by critics. “There’s a dark grain to her voice, a fine, sandpaper edge that imbues her strong, clear pipes with subtle grit. She’s one of the most distinctive singers of contemporary country, a subtle interpreter who is at her best when explicating sorrows large and small,” wrote CMT. American Music Channel added, “Veterans of the singing business shouldn’t look nor sound as good as Lorrie Morgan, but then again, she was never exactly your typical Nashville singer.”

The daughter of late country star George Morgan, Morgan made her Opry debut at the age of 13 and was one of the youngest to ever be inducted as a lifetime member, at age 24. She celebrated multiple top-charting hits including “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength,” “I Guess You Had To Be There,” “Something In Red,” among many others. She is a four-time Female Vocalist Of The Year Award-Winner, and in 1994, she garnered CMA’s Album Of The Year Award for Common Thread. In 1990, Morgan and her late husband, Keith Whitley, took home the CMA Award for Vocal Event Of The Year for “Til A Tear Becomes A Rose.” She’s celebrated multiple RIAA-Certified Gold and Platinum records throughout her storied career.

Academy of Country Music Award-winning artist, Lee Greenwood, will perform his iconic, patriotic song “God Bless the USA” prior to kick off Sunday, Nov. 15 at FedExField, presented by ACM Lifting Lives®.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundations (WRCF) and Redskins Salute will host 200 military surviving family members from TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) at the Washington Redskins versus New Orleans Saints game. During an on-field presentation where they will receive a star (red, white or blue) to represent their fallen hero, Lee Greenwood will sing live.

Voted the most recognizable patriotic song in America, Greenwood’s self-penned “God Bless The U.S.A.” has sold over 1 million copies and has been in the top five on the country singles charts three times (1991, 2001, 2003), giving it the distinction of being the only song in any genre of music to achieve that feat. It also reached No. 1 on the pop charts after September 11, 2001.

“I am honored to be invited to sing my patriotic anthem, ‘God Bless The U.S.A.’ for the families of fallen heroes and veterans who will be on the field for the Redskins versus Saints football game. LEGENDARY HIT MAKERS AND HONKY-TONKERS GENE WATSON AND MOE BANDY MAKE IT TO PRIMETIME

THE GENE & MOE SHOW? OR IS IT THE MOE & GENE SHOW? EITHER WAY THEY BOTH ARE SET TO APPEAR SEPTEMBER 18 ON RFD-TV

Moe Bandy & Gene Watson

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 19, 2015) – It's traditional country music at its finest paired with family-friendly comedy from two of the genre’s most dynamic personalities. Country music legends Gene Watson and Moe Bandy are set to perform hit after hit and teach one another a thing or two, in a one-hour primetime TV special on RFD-TV September 18.

The Gene & Moe Show, in which Watson and Bandy battle it out for the show’s naming rights prior to each episode, periodically switches its name to The Moe & Gene Show illustrating an ‘all-in-good-fun’ facetious on-screen competition between the two long-time friends, Produced by Gabriel Communications (known for top-rated variety shows Larry’s Country Diner, and Country’s Family Reunion) the new series was previously recorded at Joey+Rory's Farmhouse Concert Hall in Columbia, Tennessee.

Featuring performances of their fan-favorite classic country songs in front of a live studio audience, Watson and Bandy also interview various celebrities like drag racing driver “Big Daddy” Don Garlits and rodeo champion Larry Mayhan. Along the way, they humorously teach one another tricks of the trade when it comes to their non-musical hobbies; for Watson, that’s cars and trucks, and for Bandy -- cows and bulls. Viewers will get a kick out of watching Bandy pick on Watson as he learns how to feed a calf, and vice versa, as Bandy tries to do some maintenance work on one of Watson’s prized classic cars.

Watson and Bandy have been friends since back in the 70’s. Bandy was coming onto the scene with “I Just Started Hatin’ Cheatin’ Songs” and Watson was singing about “Love in the Hot Afternoon.” These two classics marked the beginning of more than two decades of chart topping country radio hits respectively. Tune in for additional airings of The Gene & Moe Show on RFD-TV, listed here: http://www.rfdtv.com/category/267411/schedule.

The long-haired boys from Edmonton, Kentucky, (Richard Young, Fred Young, Greg Martin and Doug Phelps), hit the road August through December on the tails of their latest album release, Meet Me in Bluesland, which hit stores on June 2 and is a collaborative effort of previously unreleased, original material featuring late, great pianist Johnnie Johnson — a Rock N Roll Hall of Famer and keyboardist for Chuck Berry. Meet Me In Bluesland showcases The Kentucky Headhunters' familiar blues influence on a whole new level, and the album has created a momentum, fueled by its No. 1 Billboard Blues Album debut and top placement on the Billboard Americana Chart, that continues to carry the group into the upcoming dates.

JASON CRABB, DAN MILLER, TEEA GOANS AND SOUTHERN RAISED TO APPEAR ON HIT VARIETY SHOW, LARRY'S COUNTRY DINER, IN JULY

The stars come out on hot summer nights in July on Larry’s Country Diner. Tune in to the hit variety show on RFD-TV this month to enjoy soulful hits from GRAMMY-winning gospel artist, Jason Crabb (“Sometimes I Cry,” “Satisfied”), the sheer musical talent of Dan Miller, host of Dan Miller’s Cowboy Music Revue, the traditional country prowess of Missouri-born singer-songwriter, Teea Goans, and the pitch-perfect harmonies of inspirational band, Southern Raised.

Airing Saturday nights at 11 p.m. ET / 10 p.m. CT and Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT on RFD-TV, Larry’s Country Diner brings in over 1.6 million viewers each month, and celebrates over 100 episodes of live, unscripted wit and family-friendly fun.

In a special behind-the-scenes feature that aired Monday (6/29) night on RFD-TV’s Rural Evening News, the show’s creator and lead cast member, Larry Black, commented on the show’s popularity and what he thinks has contributed to its long-standing success.

“The freshness of the show is what I hear the most about, and that’s because we don’t know what we’re doing,” he said with laughter. “We have no cue cards, no teleprompters, no script, no timing other than we know that our show is 44 minutes. Who knew when we started this thing six years ago now, that it would have the run that it’s gotten and the success that it’s gotten,” he added.

Witty church lady, Nadine, said, “The biggest thing is just making people forget their troubles for a little bit. If we can make people smile or laugh just for a little bit, and make them forget about what’s going on in their life and in this crazy world, then we’ve done our job.”

Having tapped some of the biggest names of yesterday and today as guest artists, Larry’s Country Diner is produced by Gabriel Communications, regularly earns top primetime ratings for viewership ages 50 and up (Nielsen) and is one of the top programs on RFD-TV.

Tune in each week in July to watch the show’s fan-favorite personalities Larry, Nadine, Renae The Waitress, Keith Bilbrey and Sherriff Jimmy Capps join one another at the diner and reminisce about the way things used to be in ‘the good ole days’:

Week of:

July 04 – Jason Crabb
July 11 – Dan Miller
July 18 – Teea Goans

*Line-ups are subject to change

Also this summer, Renae The Waitress takes to the telephone for "Diner Chat," a real, live talk show every Thursday at 3 p.m. ET via conference call. Just like the Larry's Country Diner TV show one never knows what legendary stars may join in on the line. Callers are invited to join the fun every week and ask questions about the show, their favorite country stars and whatever they want to know about all things Larry's Country Diner. THE KENTUCKY HEADHUNTERS ESCAPE 'MUDDY WATERS'

GRAMMY Winning Group's June 13 Concert at Louisiana MudFest Cancelled, 113 Rescued, After Levee Break Floods Festival Grounds

Brand-New Album, 'Meet Me In Bluesland', Debuts at No. 3 On Billboard Blues Chart

COLFAX, La. (June 15, 2015) – GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM winning southern rock group, The Kentucky Headhunters, whose name was coincidentally inspired by legendary blues musician Muddy Waters' band, the Headhunters, had only cancelled one show in 46 years of touring due to weather. But after heavy rain at the Louisiana Mudfest on Saturday, June 13, they were forced to make it two.

The Kentucky Headhunters were scheduled to perform a full concert in support of their new blues album, Meet Me In Bluesland, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard blues chart last week, at the 400-acre Colfax Mudfest Recreational Park in Colfax, Louisiana at 9 p.m CT. However, a severe rain and wind storm impacted the area, placing pressure on a temporary, private levee that had been built a few weeks prior in order to protect it from the rising Red River. Fearing for the safety of the audience and all involved, the band pulled the plug on the show and chose not to play.

"After the storm we made the decision not to take the stage, fearing for the safety of the audience, local help and our own crew and band," said Richard Young, The Kentucky Headhunters. "We just knew it was too big of a risk for the show to go on."

According to the Grant Parish Sheriff's Office at KABT-TV, at approximately 2 a.m. CT on Sunday, June 14, a sheriff's deputy noticed that the levee was cracking, and began moving concert-goers to higher ground. Within minutes, the levee was breached and the MudFest grounds were severely flooded.

Though most concert-goers and crew members had gotten to higher ground, 113 people had to be rescued from the floodwaters. The Associated Press reports that wildlife agents, troopers and sheriff's deputies used boats to rescue people, while Louisiana Army National Guard soldiers flew overhead to bring everyone to safety. No fatalities or injuries have been reported, according to KALB-TV.

"Thank the Lord that most people had gone by the time the levee was breached," Young said. We want to thank the promoter, the audience and all the other bands and crews for what was set to be a wonderful day of music and fun in the mud."

"God had a backstage pass to this show," he added.

The Kentucky Headhunters' new album featuring Johnnie Johnson, Meet Me In Bluesland, hit stores on June 2 and is holding strong at No. 3 on the Billboard Blues chart. Check it out on iTunes, Amazon and other locations where music is sold.

The band is currently on tour, performing over 80 dates throughout the United States in 2015.

REVIVER RECORDS' LUCAS HOGE SLATED FOR WRANGLER® NATIONAL PATRIOT TOUR

With Hoge as the Official Wrangler® National Patriot Artist, the Wrangler® National Patriot Program and Clothing Line Have Raised More Than $850,000 to Support The Needs of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers and Their Families

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 1, 2015) – In the words of Winston Churchill, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." Freshly inked by Reviver Records and already tapped as Cabela’s® newest brand ambassador, bright-eyed newcomer Lucas Hoge, lives his life by that philosophy.

In his 2010 leading role on Animal Planet's “Last Chance Highway,” Hoge dedicated over a year of his life to find loving homes for stray and unclaimed shelter dogs who had been left abandoned with no where to go; and today, he continues to live out his philanthropic calling through support of the U.S. Military. In partnership with the all-American clothing line, Wrangler®, he will soon embark on the Wrangler® National Patriot Tour in observance of Memorial Day. As the only music artist on the tour, he will perform for brave servicemen and women at various forward operating bases throughout the Middle East.

"To get to be a part of this tour and spend one-on-one time with the heroes who are fighting every day for our freedom… it's a real honor for me,” Hoge said. But he knows the product of their sacrifice far outweighs anything he can do for them.

“I'm glad to try and bring some peace and comfort to them through my music, but having done these tours before, I've learned that what I get out of going and being there is far greater than anything I could ever give back. Just to meet our heroes face to-face, shake their hands, look them in the eye and thank them for what they do – that’s what this is all about. It's an unforgettable opportunity," he added.

In the time Hoge has served as the official Wrangler® National Patriot artist, the Wrangler® National Patriot Program and clothing line have collectively raised over $850,000 for wounded and fallen servicemen and women and their families. Contribution to those funds has come from the sale of Hoge’s self-penned, patriotic anthem, “Medal of Honor,” from which proceeds are donated per sale from the Wrangler® National Patriot website: wranglernationalpatriot.com.

Over the years, Hoge has toured throughout Iraq, Kuwait, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Hawaii, Alaska and the Middle East performing for U.S. military troops, and his songs "Soldier's Creed," and "Medal of Honor" are both featured on his Music for Our Troops CD, which pays tribute to military members for their daily sacrifices. He is also involved with ThanksUSA.org, a charity that helps military families obtain scholarships for education, and in acknowledgement of his love for animals, is the official spokesperson for Guardian Angels for Soldier’s Pet©, which fosters animals for soldiers while they are stationed overseas.

This spring and summer, Hoge will bring his traditional country sound and energy-packed performances to a slew of summer music festivals including the CMA Music Festival (Nashville, Tenn.), BackYard BBQ (Pueblo, Colo.), the Cuchara Country Music Festival (La Veta, Colo.), and many more.  He is also positioned to release a new single in 2015 called “Power of Garth” – a poignant ballad heralding the legacy of country icon Garth Brooks.

Though momentum will build as the small-town Nebraska native continues to chase his life-long dream in country music, he’ll always be focused on ‘giving back.’

Hoge was nominated for the Inspirational Country Music (ICM) Association’s “New Artist of The Year Award,” in 2011 after answering a woman’s dying wish to write a song inspired by her autobiographical poem, “How Was I To Know.”

For the past ten-plus years they’ve paid their dues in Nashville, LOCASH has shown no reservations when it comes to blending the various musical styles they love in order to push the envelope of the traditional country sound, but what’s at the heart of the two men and their music couldn’t be more “country,” by any true Southerner’s standards. With heartfelt, solid convictions, old-fashioned storytelling and strong lyrical artistry at the root of their songs like “Best Seat In The House,” an emotional ode to the father of the duo’s Chris Lucas, and newly-penned “Shipwrecked,” influenced by John Legend, the duo has been turning heads with their songwriting skill since being discovered by songwriter Jeffrey Steele.

ALLIGATOR RECORDS SET TO RELEASE MEET ME IN BLUESLAND BY THE KENTUCKY HEADHUNTERS WITH JOHNNIE JOHNSON ON JUNE 2

PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 1, 2015) – Alligator Records has set a June 2 street date for Meet Me In Bluesland, a previously unreleased album by Grammy-winning Southern blues-rockers The Kentucky Headhunters with pianist Johnnie Johnson, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. The performances found Johnson -- the man Rolling Stone called “the greatest sideman in rock and roll” for his groundbreaking piano work with Chuck Berry -- playing some of the deepest and most rocking blues piano of his legendary career. With The Kentucky Headhunters at their down-home best, the record is a country-fried, blues-infused party from start to finish.

On January 25, 2003, Johnson joined his hosts, The Rolling Stones, for a rousing rendition of Honky Tonk Women at Houston, Texas’ Reliant Stadium. After hanging out all night with Keith Richards, Johnson got on a plane and flew to Kentucky. There he reunited with his good friends, brothers Richard and Fred Young, Greg Martin, Doug Phelps and Anthony Kenney, known worldwide as The Kentucky Headhunters. The plan was to have Johnnie lay down some piano for the band’s upcoming release, Soul. But the vibe was too strong and the music too good, so the tape just kept rolling. With songs and arrangements furiously being created on the spot and everything recorded live as it happened over the course of three days, a magical musical event was underway. Because the whole session was spontaneous, there were no immediate plans to release an album. After Johnnie’s death in 2005, the tapes, while never forgotten, remained unissued.

With the release of Meet Me In Bluesland, these timeless and rollicking performances are available for the first time. The album grooves from the raunchy rock of Stumblin’ to the slide-fueled Superman Blues to the roof-raising version of Little Queenie to the rocking Party In Heaven to the salacious She’s Got To Have It (the last vocal Johnson ever recorded).

“The minute Johnnie sat down with us, the music was a kind of ecstasy,” says guitarist/vocalist Richard Young. “Johnnie made us play like real men,” adds guitarist/vocalist Greg Martin. “Playing with him, the groove got bigger and much more grown up.” Drummer Fred Young explains, “We all admired Johnnie from the start. The first time we played with him was the first time I ever felt like we were doing it right. The music we made on Meet Me In Bluesland is as good as it gets.”

The relationship between Johnson and The Kentucky Headhunters dated back to 1992. Headed to New York for a Grammy Awards party, Greg picked up the new Johnnie Johnson CD, Johnnie B. Bad, for the ride. The band listened to nothing else all the way to New York. Having no idea he’d be at the party, they were shocked to see Johnnie Johnson sitting alone at a table. After some quick introductions, the musicians talked for hours, becoming fast friends. In 1993 they released their first collaboration, That’ll Work, on Nonesuch. They took the show on the road, playing gigs from the West Coast to New England, from Chicago’s Buddy Guy’s Legends to New York City’s Lone Star CafĂ©. They performed at The Jamboree In The Hills in Belmont County, Ohio, where Johnson, with the Headhunters triumphantly jamming behind him, played to over 30,000 fans.

From their very first meeting, Johnson and The Kentucky Headhunters stayed close, getting together whenever possible. In 2003, when the band asked Johnson to record with them again, he couldn’t wait to get back to Kentucky and make music with his friends. “Johnnie’s music was spontaneous, organic, magic energy,” says Greg. “During the recordings, everything was off-the-cuff and easy; a higher power just took over. This album is special, and we’re very happy in 2015 that it’s coming to fruition.” Adds Fred, “Johnnie gave us the gift of letting us know what it was like to do something great.”

LOCASH EXPANDS PALATE WITH RELEASE OF SIGNATURE WINE LINE, SHIPWRECKED

Premiere Label Sauvignon Blanc Now Available at Shipwreckedwines.com

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 27, 2015) – There is an age-old alignment between country music and alcohol, but while the rest of the country music world reaches for their whiskey or beer bottles, rising country duo LOCASH is popping open wine corks. As their new single “I Love This Life,” swiftly climbs the country radio charts and they embark on their 2015 I Love This Life Tour, they announce the arrival of their signature wine line, Shipwrecked.

In partnership with Stonum Vineyards of Lodi, California, the duo is slated to release five signature wines on the Shipwrecked label in 2015-17 including a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, which is now available, a Cabernet blend, Chardonnay, old vine Zinfandel and Syrah.

“We have always been huge wine guys,” said LOCASH’s Preston Brust. “A good bottle of wine is like a good song – its various ‘notes’ and aromas take your mind and senses to new depths. It’s a creative experience. I think that’s why we like it so much.” Now, thanks to their partnership with Stonum Vineyards, they have an entire line of wine to call all their own.

In 2014, around the time they signed their new record deal with Reviver Records, the duo met Jonathan Ozor, who along with his cousin, artisan winemaker Michael Stonum, owns and operates Stonum Vineyards, Incorporated.

“We met in Aspen, Colorado and bonded over a bottle of our 2010 Old Vine Zin.,” said Ozor. “I was immediately impressed by Chris and Preston’s deep knowledge and passion for wine. We talked about wine all weekend and I couldn’t wait to introduce them to Mike.”

To no surprise to Ozor, Chris and Preston found a kindred spirit in Stonum, and a partnership was formed to create a new line of wine that would allow them to funnel their mutual creativity and passion for wine into a signature LOCASH line.

“Shipwrecked is a state of mind," said the duo's Chris Lucas. "Whether you’re 'shipwrecked,' on an island in literal terms, 'shipwrecked' at your job, in a relationship or some other way in your personal life, things can always be made better by great friends, great music and great wine.”

LOCASH’s springtime debut is the 2014 Shipwrecked Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from the exclusive Towne Vineyards of Napa Valley, California. It is now available for purchase at shipwreckedwines.com.

Representing the minimalistic winemaking style of Stonum Vineyards, the unrefined, unfiltered wine features bursts of lime and grapefruit, followed by a soft hint of apricots and peaches. Subtle, well structured, and true to its namesake, this wine finishes like a cool, ocean breeze and arrives just in time for spring’s warmer weather. It is available for $28 per bottle and ships at or below 64 degrees to preserve its fresh flavors.

To purchase the 2014 Shipwrecked Towne Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc or access more information on Shipwrecked, visit shipwreckedwines.com.

An avid outdoorsman, Hoge is also a passionate supporter of the U.S. military and has traveled to various countries throughout the Middle East and beyond to perform for troops. His song, "Have I Done Something" hit No. 1 on the Christian Country Charts in November 2012, and his latest summertime anthem, "Flip Flops," has gained momentum on SiriusXM's “The Highway.”

His newest single, on the brink of release on Reviver Records, is a poignant ballad speaking to the legacy of country music icon Garth Brooks titled "Power of Garth." It will begin spinning on major country radio stations in coming months.
