ANA CRISTINA CASH UNVEILS HEARTFELT NEW SINGLE "WINTER" IN COLLABORATION WITH CAITLIN EVANSON

Pre-save "Winter" here

Singer-songwriter Ana Cristina Cash is thrilled to announce the release of her latest song, "Winter." This emotionally charged track is a captivating duet with fellow artist Caitlin Evanson and holds profound significance for both performers. Originally penned by renowned songwriter Tori Amos, Cash and Evanson have infused their unique essence into the song.

"Winter" serves as a moving meditation on the passage of time and underscores the importance of treasuring the moments shared with loved ones.

In a recent statement, Ana Cristina Cash revealed the inspiration behind the song: "Caitlin and I share a deep admiration for Tori Amos and her iconic 'Little Earthquakes' album. While in the studio one day, we decided to embark on a collaborative journey by duetting on 'Winter.' We were drawn to the song's emotional depth and its poignant reflection on the fleeting nature of time. It reminds us to cherish every moment, as things will never be the same as they once were. The song evokes imagery of a father and a daughter, from their youthful days creating memories in the snow to the future when the father is frail and aged. We recorded this song several months ago, but it took on a whole new meaning for me when my own father faced serious health complications this year. Music is a powerful means of expressing emotions, and 'Winter' is incredibly special to us."

Ana Cristina Cash's soulful vocals, complemented by Caitlin Evanson's harmonious contribution, deliver a spellbinding interpretation of this timeless composition. "Winter" stands as a heartfelt tribute to the enduring bonds of family and the inevitability of change.

"Winter" features an impressive lineup of musicians, including Ana Cristina Cash on vocals, Caitlin Evanson on vocals, acoustic guitar, and violin, Derrek Phillips on drums and percussion, Byron House on bass, and Matt Combs on violin, viola, and cello. The production team includes John Carter Cash, Ana Cristina Cash, Caitlin Evanson, and Trey Call, while the recording and mixing took place at The Cash Cabin in Hendersonville, TN, engineered by Trey Call with assistance from Joseph Cash. The mastering was skillfully done at True East Mastering by Alex McCollough. The accompanying music video credits include Joseph Cash as the director, Isaac Cox as the assistant camera operator, and Austin Williams as the production assistant.
