RISING COUNTRY ARTIST TAYLON HOPE REFLECTS ON HOMETOWN ROOTS IN NEW SINGLE “HOMETOWN NEVER LEAVE ME”

Stream/Download "Hometown Never Leave Me" Here

With heartfelt lyrics tying memories to the future, “Hometown Never Leave Me,” the new single from rising young country music artist Taylon Hope, indicates her growing talent. The new music was co-written by hit songwriters, Kirsti Manna and Bill DiLuigi along with Taylon and is available now for streaming and download on all digital music platforms and the video in support of the new song will be available in upcoming weeks.

The song shares all that how special her hometown in North Carolina is to Taylon. Moving to Nashville when she was twelve to pursue her career as a country artist, her family had to leave the special town of West Jefferson behind to chase her dream. The special thing about a hometown is that you can leave it, but it will never leave you. The people from her hometown have surrounded her and supported her with a special love that keeps her going daily. Just like the song says, “There is always a huge part of me that loves the peace of the mountains, that loves talking to people on the side of the road that I know, and going into the old beautiful church at the end of my Nanas road to pray.”

“Hometown Never Leave Me” was co-written with two incredible writers I admire in many ways. This song is so special to me, and I hope others can relate to it, knowing that no matter where they might go, their hometown will never leave them,” expressed Taylon Hope.

“It is always fun writing with Bill and Taylon. It wasn’t hard to find the inspiration since the three of us are very sentimental about our hometowns. We all felt that no matter how far we go from those special places, our hometowns will be in our hearts. They helped shape us and gave us the confidence to venture out and follow our dreams,” shared co-writer Kirsti Manna.

“The way I remember it, Taylon and I were writing with a friend a week or so before that lives way out in the country and there were some cars and trucks stopped in the middle of the road with people just talking to each other and shooting the breeze. She said it reminded her back home, so that idea made it into the song,’ reflected co-writer Bill DiLuigi.

“Gas up at the Texaco, in somebody else’s map dot
In the shade of the interstate don’t look much like a Hot spot
But someone else’s coming home to
Reminds me of my Rearview go to
That’s when I miss it a lot
And when I see people talking
in the middle of a backroad somewhere
Makes me wanna find the time to
Stick wildflower up in my hair
Even if I put wings on my roots
A thousand miles on these boots beneath me
(my hometown) hometown never leave me
Hey Porchlight with your halo on I’ll catch ya when I’m able
Hey welcome sign if you don’t mind stand like my guardian angel
You’ll never let me get too far
From who I am that’s who you are …”

“Hometown Never Leave Me” was produced by Kent Wells and engineered and mixed by Kyle Dickinson. Tracks were recorded at Kent Wells Productions in Nashville by Joel McKenney. Accomplished session musicians included Kent Wells (acoustic guitar), Mark Hill (bass), Justin Ostrander (electric guitar), Evan Hutchings (drums), Mike Rojas (Piano/Keys) and background vocals Christine Winslow.

NICK HICKMAN'S LATEST RELEASE “TRYING TO LIVE” INSPIRES LIVING FULLY AND PRIORITIZING LOVE AND MEANINGFUL MEMORIES OVER MATERIAL PURSUITS

Stream/Download "Trying to Live" Here

Country artist Nick Hickman has announced his first single “Trying To Live” off his highly anticipated album to be released later this year. Co-written by Jeff Glasscock and Hickman wrote this song out of frustration with the premature loss of loved ones, tired of the "what ifs" and missed opportunities. The lyrics encourage listeners to live life fully, prioritizing meaningful actions and memories over mere pursuits of wealth, and instead to be remembered for love, actions, and the memories created.

“This is my finest creation yet, four times better than anything prior. Truly a labor of love, with every ounce of sweat and tears poured into it. I handled every aspect, from writing to production to engineering. It's a testament to the dedication of my team, and I couldn't be prouder,” Nick Hickman proudly declared.

“Trying to Live is a high-energy song that makes you want to run out and do all the things you’ve been putting off because you think you’ll always have the time later. Nothing is promised in this life, there are no guarantees for anything; Trying to Live is the reminder everyone needs to jump out of bed every morning with a smile on their face and a good attitude towards crushing life and making the most of every moment!” exclaimed co-writer Jeff Glasscock.

“Death is coming for us all whether we like it or not
So I suggest we make the most out of the time we got
What if we laughed a little more stressed a little less
Made the plan took the trip drank the wine had the sex
I wanna live like I might now wake up
I wanna make love like were trying to make up
I wanna see the world and chase the stars to where the sun begins
While everybodys waiting to die im over here trying to live
One day we’ll all just be words written in a eulogy
But until then im gonna give em all something worth writing
What if we cared a little less about what people thought
And cared a little more about those dreams getting caught…”

The official video was captured in Nashville and produced by Jordan Dziekan.

“Trying To Live” was recorded, engineered, and produced at Whiskey Neat Records in Nashville by Nick Hickman, Christian Santangelo and Jeff Glasscock. Session players on the recording include Andy Hull (Drums), Dow Tomlin (Bass), Jeff Glasscock (Guitars), Will Adkins (Keys), Andy Ellison (Steel Guitar, Mandolin and Banjo), and Christian Santangelo (Harmonies).

RISING COUNTRY MUSIC ARTIST ROB WOLF UNVEILS “THE COWBOY WAY”

Promising Country music artist Rob Wolf offers “The Cowboy Way,” as his first release of 2024. “They say the Cowboy’s a dying breed, well I’ll tell you that isn’t true.” Rob wrote this lyric because living in Montana, the thought of working the land isn’t far from his mind. “The Cowboy Way” was self-penned by Wolf and written to spread the message that cowboy’s stick around. No matter how much land is sold or developed, nothing will ever change. A cowboy’s calling is true – work hard, work early, and never back down. Stream and download the new music available today HERE.

The fiddle intro develops the song just as the day starts for a Cowboy: an early morning filled with beautiful faint sounds of the vast landscape, with the sun yet to show itself, but the subtle morning quickly races off to a full-paced, dig-your-spurs-in mode. The music transitions into a full band crescendo, just as the Cowboy readies his horse, his most faithful and imperative partner. The song takes you through a day in the life of a Cowboy as if you were along for the ride and feeling every movement from the saddle. The chorus reminds us to do what we love and do it until we can’t.

Rob Wolf shares, “I feel like this song tells the world what to expect of a cowboy – hardcore grit and an iron work ethic. Being a cowboy is a way of life, not a hobby, and I wrote this song to share not just my experiences but the experiences of all the farmers and ranchers in Paradise Valley, Montana, where I’m from.”

“The Cowboy Way, as its title suggests, is equally a song as it is a lifestyle, a way of life that one would be blessed to experience. The song paints a beautiful picture of the essence and hard work it takes to make it as a Cowboy and pays homage to a life that few understand,” Stated bass guitarist Jordan Jarosky. “Deeper rooted, the song is a metaphor to how we should all live our lives, doing what we love and living it to the fullest. It’s not work when it’s a life and it’s not living unless it’s the Cowboy Way.”

“They say the cowboy’s a dying breed,
Well, I’ll tell you that isn’t true.
If you listen closely to these words,
I’ll tell you what we do.

We’re up before the sun hits the sky,
Saddling horses for the day.
Now it don’t matter how much sleep we got,
We just carry on our way.

It’s built in our blood to ranch and punch cattle all day long.
Generations of ranch hand work that have been passed on.
Some people don’t understand this life we like to live.
We’ll work until our dying days,

That’s just the cowboy way.…”

“The Cowboy Way” was produced by Tyler Cain at Bold Studio Nashville. It was mixed by Mark Lonsway and mastered by Mayfield Mastering. Studio musicians on the single included Tyler Cain (electric guitar), Jackson Eppley (bass) Kevin Murphy (drums), Bruce Bouton (dobro) Jenee Fleenor (fiddle) and Rob Wolf ( guitar).

BROOK ELLINGWORTH CAPTURES GAME-CHANGING MOMENT WITH DEBUT RELEASE “LIKE IT WAS THE FIRST TIME”

Self-penned by Brook Ellingworth, “Like It Was The First Time” is about that first kiss that changed everything for you. Picture going back to that first kiss with that particular person and reliving it. Perhaps it is with the person you are with today, or maybe it was the one that got away. The song's texture reflects the wave of emotions your heart feels after having a moment so intimate and electric with someone who leaves such an imprint on your life. The lyrics tell a story about a boy that wants to go back to the night he met someone, that turned his world upside down, but he never saw them again. This song comes from a personal experience, and the message is bound to radiate with every listener.’

“Like It Was The First Time” is available now HERE.

“With the plan of recording my first single, there was no question on how I would go about it. I already had many songs under my belt, but I wanted something fresh, and ‘Like It Was The First Time” was screaming at me to be shared with the world,” expressed Ellingworth. “I asked my good friend Jake Burns if we could get in the studio with his session guys, and the following week, we hit the ground running at Curb Studios with this band of incredible musicians and gave this song wings. I am so excited to share this song with everyone!”

“Brook brought me this song. He asked if we could get a band together and record a full version of it. Literally, it was the first time for him and I to capture a full production recording in Nashville. I have been recording and mixing for 25 years in this town (Nashville), but this project came together like Brook and I had worked together for decades. Im proud of his progression and hard work. “Like It Was The First Time” shows his maturity as an artist and writer,” shared Recording and Mixing Engineer - Jake Burns.

“We Were, Both Young And Wild At Heart,
Still A Little Far Apart,
Between My, Leather Jacket And Your Soft Skin
That’s The, Air I Wanna Breath Again

So, Take My Heart For Another Round,
Shoot Me Straight Don’t Water Me Down,
Look Through Me With Those Fiery Eyes,
You Made Everyone Else Disappear,
Its Just You And Me In The Stratosphere,
Let Me Spin You Around And Kiss You Like I Did That Night,
Like It Was The First Time…”

“Like It Was The First Time” was recorded a Curb Studios in Nashville with Production led by Brook Ellingworth, mixing by Jake Burns and Mastering by Eric Conn at Independent Mastering. Studio musicians on the project included Aaron Currie (electric guitar/slide guitar), Justin Weaver (acoustic guitar), Robert Blair (drums/percussion), Chris Autry (bass guitar), Billy Justineau (keyboard/Hammond organ) and Jared Harder (backing vocals)

EXPERT TRIO BILL O’HANLON, NANCY DECKANT, AND LESLIE BOWE RELEASE THE SONGWRITER'S GUIDE TO PROTECTING YOUR SONGS AND COLLECTING YOUR MONEY

Project Receives High Reviews and Praise From Music Industry Publishers

Available Now In Ebook Format With Paperback Pre-Orders Open Until May 3rd
On Amazon

The Songwriter's Guide To Protecting Your Songs and Collecting Your Money is an essential addition to any songwriter's library. From managing your music business to navigating newly established royalties, this comprehensive guide is a must-have for aspiring and established songwriters alike. Available now in eBook format with paperback pre-orders open until May 3rd on Amazon, this “how-to” book demystifies the complexities of the songwriting business in a clear and accessible format. The book is available for purchase at online retailers and can be ordered at Amazon HERE.

Authored by a trio of industry insiders, Bill O’Hanlon, Nancy Deckant, and Leslie Bowe, this book is more than just a guide; it's a labor of love born from their own experiences and struggles in the world of the songwriting business. Each author brings a unique perspective to the table, from Bill's extensive literary background to Nancy's hands-on experience as a songwriter, songplugger, and publisher, and Les's dedication to research and insight.

To celebrate the launch of The Songwriter's Guide To Protecting Your Songs and Collecting Your Money, a special book launch party and writers' round will be held at the Commodore Grille in the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt on April 13th from 7 to11 pm. Hit songwriters including Tom Douglas ("House That Built Me" by Miranda Lambert) and Jason Sever ("Seein' Red" by Dustin Lynch), and Jenny Tolman (Married In A Honky Tonk), among others, will be playing to support the launch of this important book.

For more information on the book launch event, visit www.nashvillecool.com/press.

“Becoming a songwriter doesn't come with a manual for safeguarding your songs and ensuring you receive your rightful earnings,” said Bill O’Hanlon. “If you're a self-administered songwriter or independent artist, chances are you're missing out on potential revenue.”

"The book is a roadmap to collecting thirteen royalties, some of which were non-existent before the enactment of the MMA," explained Nancy Dekant, "ensuring that songwriters stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the industry."

"Our goal was to consolidate the essentials into one easily accessible resource," remarked Leslie Bowe. "It clocks in at just 100 pages, offering a concise and straightforward read for all."

The book has garnered high praise from respected music industry publishers who understand the challenges and intricacies of the songwriting business.

Shar'n Clark, Publisher at Shake 'Em Up Music, emphasizes the book's indispensability, stating, "This book is so inclusive in material that any self-administered songwriter should have it a part of their library. It should be required reading before anyone considers themselves a songwriter."

Reflecting on her own experiences, Debbie Zavitson, former A&R with Sony and Publisher at Debbie Z Entertainment, remarks, "I wish I would’ve had this book when I started in the business!"

Zach Green, Founder of the Red Door Hang, lauds the authors' expertise, describing the guide as "a great read for any songwriter written by some formidable industry vets."

The book is infused with practical advice, real-world anecdotes, and step-by-step guidance. Readers can expect to find answers to burning questions such as the basics of "Where exactly should I register my songs to collect all the royalties due to me?", "When should I copyright my song with the Library of Congress?” and “What is sync, and what royalties can you expect to earn from it?” Also included are samples of essential agreements that all songwriters need.

ALLIE COLLEEN PREMIERES DEBUT OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “WHILE WE’RE STILL FRIENDS” FEAT. LEE BRICE

The official support video for “While We’re Still Friends” feat. Lee Brice by Allie Colleen premiered yesterday on Stryk TV and Country Rebel social media platforms. The video is being added in rotation on Music Choice and CMT Music (CMT’s 24-hour channel) and should start spinning the week of March 3rd.

Produced by Logen Christopher at Stormlight Pictures in Nashville, TN, the video beautifully portrays the emotional journey of a relationship coming to an end and the delicate process of moving forward with grace.

“I cannot even begin to share the excitement of sharing this video with everyone. The support on this song has been amazing and I am honored and humbled by everyone’s kindness on the song's message,” expressed Allie Colleen.

"Allie Colleen brings an exciting sound and energy to music lovers as she comes from an iconic country music lineage with a strong tradition of bridging genres. As a host on SiriusXM Classic Rewind and StrykTV, I can attest that while her roots may be in country, her music resonates across genres and generations.” shared Dean Baldwin, SiriusXM, StrykTV, FM2.0.

With a reputation as a notable songwriter with an iconic-sounding, impeccably strong voice, Allie Colleen released “While We’re Still Friends” featuring Lee Brice as her first release of the new year on February 17, amassing more than 100K organic Spotify streams in the first 4 days. The raw emotion-filled song lyrics, brimming with honesty and sincerity, were collaboratively penned by Allie Colleen, Sara Brice, and Lee Brice.

“While We’re Still Friends” is available on all digital music platforms HERE.

Allie Colleen shared, “For me as a writer, this song was written looking at my marriage and the beautiful season about to end. I hope the listeners find comfort in knowing the absolute bravery required to make the best decisions for themselves and for the best of both partners. I hope this song creates a safe space to feel and reflect.”

“As a songwriter, sometimes I find it hard to understand when writing about myself or creating a narrative using other characters. This song was a ‘punch in the gut’ reality check for me. What started as a co-writer’s idea turned into years of unspoken anxiety and repressed honesty about the relationship I had found myself in. This song in its own way shattered my world and in another way saved my life.”

"Simply said…Allie was made for this. She is authentic to her core regardless of circumstance and in this world we live in right now, that is a tough thing to do and a refreshing quality to find. When Allie, Sara and I first sat down to write this song, I immediately saw that Allie takes on the good, the bad and the ugly in her songwriting. It’s never an easy thing to put your personal life into a song the world will hear and I applaud Allie for challenging herself to go there so honestly,” shared co-producer Lee Brice. “The way she plays, her effortless singing, her God-given ability to connect with people - this song has it all. It is an arrow through the heart and Allie delivers it exactly how it’s supposed to be and only how she could. I am truly honored to be a small part of such a big talent."

Jerrod Nieman added, “I love everything about Allie as a friend and just a great person. It all reflects in her music well beyond her years. She makes music straight from the soul. Working with her and Lee Brice in the studio was truly one of my most memorable moments in Nashville. We had such an amazing experience helping her bring her vision to life and to her fans. I am in her corner and cannot wait to hear all her great music to come.”

Production was a collaboration by Jerrod Niemann, Lee Brice and Allie Colleen with mixing by Cody LaBelle, Evan Hutchings (Drums), Mark Hill (Bass), Rob McNelley (Electric Guitar), Lee Brice (Acoustic Guitar), Mike Rojas (Keys) and Charlie Judge (Strings). George Town Masters provided mastering.

PROMISING COUNTRY MUSIC ARTIST ROB WOLF SHOWCASES VOCAL RANGE ON RELEASE OF EXULTANT SINGLE, “HALLELUJAH”

Promising Country music artist Rob Wolf offers his final release showcasing his vocal range on an exultant rendition of the song that has earned global significance, “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen. The well-written lyrics talk about the human condition, love, sadness, remorse and hope. Stream and download the new music available today HERE.

Rob Wolf shares, “Hallelujah” is the first song I learned to cover and my favorite cover song. It is also my grandma's favorite song and when I was about 8 years old, I made her a promise that one day I would learn to play and sing it for her. Well, little 8-year-old me grew up into a man, and here I am nearly fifteen years later releasing my own version of the song! Grandma, just like every other time: This one's for you!”

“Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor falls, the major lifts
The baffled king composing

Hallelujah Hallelujah,
Hallelujah Hallelujah,
Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the

Hallelujah Hallelujah,
Hallelujah Hallelujah,
Hallelujah …”

“Hallelujah” was produced by Bold Studio Nashville. It was mixed by Mark Lonsway and mastered by Mayfield Mastering. Studio musicians on the single included Tyler Cain (electric guitar, bass), Jay Tooke (drums), Bruce Bouton (steel guitar) and Rob Wolf ( guitar).

TEXAS ARTISTS ELI YOUNG BAND AND GEORGE BIRGE LEND VOICES ON TENDER-HEARTED NEW TRIBUTE OF COUNTRY CLASSIC “AMY’S BACK IN AUSTIN”

Third Digital Release Of Upcoming Tribute Album God Blessed Texas Available Dec 1

Hailing from Denton and Austin, Texas, respectively, Eli Young Band and George Birge have teamed up to record a tender-hearted new cover of the 1994 hit song “Amy’s Back in Austin.” The melodious new single is the third release from the upcoming tribute album God Blessed Texas, which pays homage to American country music band Little Texas. The new music will be available Dec 1 for streaming and download.

Superbly crafted, “Amy’s Back in Austin” tells the story of a naive young couple seeking a better life by leaving their hometown together. Unfortunately, they learn the grass isn’t always greener on the other side and end up parting ways; he heads West and suspects she’s returned home. His love for her remains and occupies his thoughts, leaving listeners with a strikingly heartfelt ballad.

“Growing up, I was always a fan of Little Texas,” reveals Mike Eli - Eli Young Band. “Their songs were a huge part of country music in Texas. I was excited to be asked to sing on the record and it’s a huge honor to be part of this project.”

“Little Texas was a staple in my childhood, and ‘Amy’s Back in Austin’ was an era-defining song for me,” shares George Birge. “With Eli Young Band being one of my biggest musical influences, getting to share this track with them feels like a full circle moment for me in Country music. To be asked to be a part of this tribute album is such a huge honor.”

“We left Texas on a windy night
In a beat-up Chevy van
We loaded it up with our innocent dreams
And all the love we had
We didn’t know then how hard it was
Livin’ on our own
I’d find her cryin’ late at night
Talkin’ to the folks back home
I wonder what went wrong
And where is she now I’d love to know

I bet Amy’s back in Austin
Workin’ at the LaZona Rosa Cafe
I remember the night we lost it
And the day she went away
Was it the angry words or did she miss her momma
I don’t know but it don’t feel right
I bet Amy’s back in Austin
And I’m missin’ her tonight…”

“Amy’s Back in Austin” was co-written by Brady Seals and Stephen Allen Davis. Brandyn Steen served as Executive Producer on the new cover song and Duane Propes as Music Producer. It was recorded at ER Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, with mixing done by Bart Busch and engineering by David Spielberg. A-list session musicians included Duane Propes (bass guitar), Mark Matejka (lead and acoustic guitar) and Corey Wright (drums).

EMERGING COUNTRY ARTIST ROB WOLFE ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF TRANQUIL SINGLE "PEACEFULLY"

Emerging Country music artist Rob Wolf is pleased to announce the release of his tranquil new single, “Peacefully.” Reflecting on his own idea of a peaceful life, the new song is certain to bring a sense of serenity to listeners through its lyrics and gentle melody. “Peacefully” is available for download and streaming now at found.ee/RobWolfPeacefully.

Rob had a supportive and loving family, great friends, a successful baseball career, experienced countless hours of flight lessons and had been playing music weekly for almost two years. However, he was frightened about his future when faced with high school graduation. A sleepless night led to the epiphany that the good things in his life came from passion and dedication, not stress and worry. If he kept his focus on the things that grounded him, like his family, music, and faith. He enjoyed life as it came; instead of trying to force it, he had everything he needed to face the changes life was throwing at him.

“The song ‘Peacefully’ was written when I was just about to graduate high school and faced some very big life changes,” shared Rob Wolf. “It was written on a sleepless night and helped me find a new perspective on life. This song helped me create a philosophy about how I should live the rest of my life, and it shapes me to this day.”

With this epiphany, “Peacefully” was written and a life’s philosophy was born; “Focus on who you are, and who you want to be. Enjoy every moment and be young, wild and free. Put those together, and you’ll be surprised at what you see, and that’s how you live life peacefully,” sings Rob Wolf.

“It’s always nice to hear a new country song that leaves you in a more serene mind frame,” said Think Country founder Annette Gibbons. “This is one of those songs. Hats off to Rob Wolf and the studio musicians who found just the right sound to create that calming effect. Rob has been churning out many singles recently, and we’ll be watching to see where his career goes. I’ve been covering country music on both sides of the Atlantic for a long time and have followed countless new artists. One thing is clear: a good, consistent work ethic is key to moving forward for an artist. Hoping Rob joins those that keep pounding the pavement and upping their presence in the country music genre.”

“...Laying here thinking about life
Hoping it doesn’t just fly on by
All the memories I’ve had
All the good times and the bad

Focus on who you are, and who you want to be
Enjoy every moment and be young and wild and free
Then put those together, you’ll be surprised at what you see
And that’s how you live life peacefully

Everybody, gather around
Forget all the stresses putting you down
Remember the reason that you’re here
Son, relax and have no fear, no fear…”

“Peacefully” was written by Rob Wolf and produced by Bold Studio Nashville. It was mixed by Mark Lonsway and mastered by Mayfield Mastering. Studio musicians on the single included Tyler Cain (electric guitar, bass), Kevin Murphy (drums), Jenee Fleenor (mandolin, fiddle) and Bruce Bouton (dobro).

DISCOVER THE POWER OF FAITH WITH ASHLEY GRONHOLM’S “ANOINTED ONE”

Evangelist, author and singer/songwriter Ashley Gronholm wants listeners to discover the power of faith with the release of her new single, “Anointed One.” This song reflects one of the most powerful songwriting moments of her career as a songwriter. This timely new release celebrates the coming return of Jesus and can be streamed and downloaded HERE.

Ashley Gronholm wrote this song as she read the book of Revelation 22:17, “And the Spirit and the Bride say, Come. And let him who hears say, Come. And let him who is thirsty come. And whoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” As she was sitting at the piano praying about this verse and imagining the day when Jesus will one day return, this excitement rose up in her spirit and the melody came. Her fingers began flying across the piano and the tears began to fall as the spirit of God was releasing this sound. “Anointed One” was written in less than 30 minutes.

“It is my deep desire and prayer that this song will bless the people of God and reveal the love of Jesus in this end time hour we are living in, because Jesus is coming back soon and we need him now more than ever!” exclaimed Ashley Gronholm.

“He will appear upon the clouds
With sword, a robe, a royal crown
The victory, He has won
Messiah, Christ, Anointed One

Perfecter of our faith,
Defender full of grace,
My Jesus!
You’re my Jesus

Redeemed me from my sin
Brought me to life again
My Jesus!
You’re my Jesus…”

“Anointed One” was self-penned by Ashley Gronholm and recorded at 800 East Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Produced by Gronholm, Martin Kearns and Shannon Tebo and mixed by Martin Kearns with mastering provided by Larry Anthony at COS Mastering.

Studio musicians on the new single included Shannon Tebo (piano), Martin Kearns (keyboards, tambourine), Colin Agnew (percussion) and Gronholm and Tebo (background vocals).

DAVID ADAM BYRNES RELEASES HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM, "COUNTRY GONNA BE ALRIGHT"

Country music fans will be thrilled to learn that Texas-based artist David Adam Byrnes has just released his new, full-length album, Country Gonna Be Alright. Jam-packed with all the traditional country sounds so many crave, this one is sure to please! The new music is available for download and streaming at https://vyd.co/Countrygonnabealright.

There are two very young boys from Arkansas who have been coming out to Byrnes shows. EXILE ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM, "A MILLION MILES LATER"

First Album of Original Music in Over Thirty Years

American Country Rock Band and Kentucky Music Hall of Fame Members, Exile announced the release of their new album, A Million Miles Later earlier this week at an exclusive invitation-only album listening party at the infamous Sound Emporium Studios in Nashville to a who’s who music industry crowd. The band shared stories about each of the new songs and paid homage to the co-writers and producers in attendance, along with many other team members behind making the project happen. This is the first album released with original music in over thirty years by the group. The new album is available for streaming and download https://onerpm.link/amml_exile.

What makes a release unique can range from the style of music it is, the lyrics, the instruments used, or even the feeling in the studio while it was being written, when combined make songs uniquely an artist’s. Exile uses all of these elements to their advantage and it is what sets them apart and has been the glue to their longevity. The elements all play a part in setting the tone of their release’s overall storyline and why listeners form a real, lasting attachment to the music. A Million Miles Later is a perfect example of this technique.

“This was our most ambitious album project ever, 16 songs,” shared band member J.P. Pennington. ”It took about a year and a half to complete and was a total team effort. We are good guys and help one another grow along these lines, keeping ourselves in check. Actually, we’ve covered far more than a million miles, but who is counting. This album is a summary of how we click. I feel a lot of gratitude!”

“I think this is one of the best projects we’ve ever done,” stated Exile’s Les Taylor.

“The creativity has never stopped in this band,” related Sonny LeMarie of Exile. “While we are grateful for our past accomplishments, we’re still striving to create new music and new challenges. NASHVILLE’S BRYAN RUBY DROPS CELEBRATORY COVER OF THE JOHN FOGERTY CLASSIC BASEBALL ANTHEM “CENTERFIELD”

Nashville-based country artist Bryan Ruby just dropped a lively cover of John Fogerty’s classic baseball anthem, “Centerfield.”

The new version is available for streaming and download HERE.

“Centerfield” was released by John Fogerty, who also penned the song, in March 1985 as the B-side of “Rock and Roll Girls.” It was also the title track of Fogerty’s comeback album about a decade after leaving Creedence Clearwater Revival. A track that combined two of his passions, baseball and rock and roll, the song has been a fixture at baseball parks everywhere, played during team breaks and in between innings. Even the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York is known for playing it. The song also garnered a 1985 Grammy nomination for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance.

Spending most of his life on baseball fields, Bryan Ruby wants fans to know he considers it an honor to record a cover of such a beloved song. A minor league professional ball player who has heard “Centerfield” played in baseball parks worldwide for years, it’s no surprise that the song holds a lot of meaning to him personally.  Ruby is set to cap off his baseball playing career in the upcoming months, suiting up in one final tournament to close out the summer before officially retiring from the sport this fall.

“This song is an all-time classic and a personal favorite of mine,” expressed Bryan Ruby.  “When I think of a ‘baseball song,’ I immediately think of ‘Centerfield.’ As the son of a lifelong baseball coach and a longtime player myself, this ballpark anthem has truly been the soundtrack of our lives. I’m proud to put my own personal spin on it. It’s already been a nonstop summer. I’ve been crisscrossing the country at stadiums big and small singing the “Star Spangled Banner,” “God Bless America,” and doing pregame and postgame ballpark shows. I wanted my version of ‘Centerfield’ to channel the energy and excitement we feel at the stadium every day. We bumped up the tempo compared to the original version, added a key change in the final chorus, and layered in a few extra guitars in order to really blow the roof off of it. I’m thankful to my producer Smith Curry, who recruited not one, but three current ACM-nominated finalists for Studio Musician Of The Year (Billy Justineau on keys, Miles McPherson on drums, and Steve Mackey on bass) to play with me on the song. I feel very honored to be working with such talented people at this early stage in my career.”

“Well, I beat the drum and hold the phone

The sun came out today

We're born again, there's new grass on the field

A-roundin' third, I'm headed for home

It's a brown-eyed handsome man

Anyone can understand the way I feel

Oh, put me in coach, I'm ready to play today

Put me in coach, I'm ready to play today

Look at me, I can be centerfield

Well, I spent some time in the Mudville Nine

Watching it from the bench

You know I took some lumps

When the Mighty Casey struck out

So say hey Willie, tell Ty Cobb and Joe DiMaggio

Don't say it ain't so you know the time is now

So put me in coach, I'm ready to play today

Put me in coach, I'm ready to play today

Look at me, I can be centerfield…”

Rounding out the all-star cast of musicians are Smith Curry on steel guitar, Nathan Keeterle on electric guitar, and Sam Hunter on acoustic guitar. The song was recorded at Omni Studios in Nashville, with Josh Emmons serving as engineer behind the board during the session. Mark Lonsway performed background vocals and David Axelrod (Santi Sound) served as lead vocal tracking engineer on the project. The single was mixed by Bobby Holland (Pentavarit Studios) and mastered by John Mayfield from Mayfield Mastering. The cover art was photographed by Jonah Van Bemmelen and Max Gordon assisted with graphic design on the project.

“I’ve been here the last three days
Getting burnt by the sun in a Blue Chair haze
Rum running my cares away
I don’t know where she is now
She packed up and I went south
To get a little lost in a tourist town
I’m living like a local now

When in rum
You go with the flow, lay low in the tide
Take the hurt from a heartbreak, put it on ice
Pour a blue ocean view and time in a cup
Find an island girl and mix it up
When in rum…”

AWARD WINNING SINGER-SONGWRITER BRADY SEALS PAYS HOMAGE TO BLUE-COLLAR WORKERS WITH NEW SINGLE “DEEPER SHADE OF BLUE-COLLAR”

Award-winning singer-songwriter and artist Brady Seals, has released his new single, “Deeper Shade of Blue-Collar,” an upbeat tribute to the hardworking blue-collar workers that keep this country operating every day of the year. The new music is available for streaming and download here.

Penned by Seals, Kathy White and Bill Whyte, “Deeper Shade of Blue-Collar” was written as an ode to all the blue-collar workers. Seals’ grandfather was a Kentucky sharecropper and coal miner and his grandma worked on the farm. His dad drove a coal mining truck and worked as a crane operator for GM until he retired. His mother cleaned houses for a living. He comes from a long line of hard workers and he’s proud of that.

“Thank God for those men and women out there who aren’t afraid of getting their hands dirty,” Brady Seals proudly stated. “We couldn’t do this thing without you. This one’s for you!”

“...Under all 10 fingernails
We gotta a lot of dirt and grease
Before that sun comes rollin' up
We're up and rollin' up our sleeves
Got some farmers tans and calloused hands

Out here we folks work and play hard
Until way up in the night
And we got bloody busted knuckles
From the wrenches and the fights
Hangin' buck skin tough and we don't give up

Got some John Deere Green plowin' up the land
Black stove in the kitchen brownin' biscuits in a pan
We don't eat on white linen but we know we're truly blessed
Can I get Amen from some real rednecks?
Whoa whoa, once'st you get back in a holler

You get a deeper shade of blue-collar…”

Brady Seals served as producer, while engineering, mixing and mastering were done by Greg Strizek. The single was recorded at The Tracking Room in Nashville.

A first-rate group of session musicians played on the project, including Scott Williamson (drums), Jim Hyatt (bass), Bobby Terry (dobro, banjo, acoustic guitar), Kelly Back (guitar), Jim Hoke (harmonica) and Larry Franklin (fiddle).
