DAVID NAIL RELEASES LONG AWAITED NEW EP, "BEST OF ME" - AVAILABLE NOW

Stream and download here: https://lnk.to/BOMEP.

Acclaimed country music singer and songwriter, David Nail released his new 4-song EP, Best of Me today featuring his previous high streaming releases and the brand new single “Silverado.” Best of Me features a blend of contemporary country sounds and introspective storytelling. The EP tells the story of the evolution of a summer fling as heard on “Sunset Carousel” to the special moment of preparing to pop the question in the lauded solo write, “Best of Me.”

This new EP is an avenue of Nail's artistic evolution, following a string of critically acclaimed albums. With his unparalleled vocal talents and captivating songwriting, David Nail continues to solidify his place in country music.

“Silverado is one of the most fun songs I’ve ever been a part of writing, and there was an immediate feeling in the room that this would be a blast playing live! We initially planned to release this last Fall but the pause allowed us to really take another look at it, and I think, enhance the overall sound,” Nail said.

“Nail’s superb vocal talents are country canon, thanks to songs like ‘Red Light’ and ‘The Sound of a Million Dreams.’ The singer-songwriter shows off his sentimental side on this solo write, about his wife Catherine, as he recalls the man-to-man conversation he shared with her father as Nail asked for her hand in marriage. Though he doesn’t have money or the finer things in life to offer, he does have one thing of even more value — a steadfast love and commitment. ‘I’ll give her the best of me/ If you’ll give her away,’ he sings, as his nuanced vocal, layered over sweet guitar work, embodies the passion, vulnerability and hope embedded in the song’s sentiments. This is sure to be a wedding season favorite.” - Billboard

“I have always thought this guy had something special. His return to disc is a summer romance with a nostalgic tinge. He still sings splendidly and the track (Sunset Carousel) is right in the pocket for beach listening.” Robert Oermann, MusicRow

David and his wife, Catherine sat down for an intimate weekly series telling their story about their first meeting at the Nashville staple, Tin Roof, and how David asked Catherine’s father for permission to ask her for her hand in marriage.

TEXAS HILL ANNOUNCES DEBUT EP COMING SEPTEMBER 25

New Single “Easy On The Eyes” Available Everywhere Today

Press Release

Texas Hill announced today their debut self-titled EP set for release September 25. In addition to the new EP, the band will drop a new single, “Easy On The Eyes” tomorrow (August 28) on all digital streaming platforms. “Easy On The Eyes” is one of five tracks on the upcoming EP, along with previously released singles “Four Roses” and “Darkest Sky.”

The group first tested the Texas Hill concept (then unnamed) with a series of co-headlining shows in late 2019. In June, Billboard officially announced the trio, comprised of Craig Wayne Boyd, Casey James and Adam Wakefield—all former reality show contestants (Boyd and Wakefield placed 1st and 2nd on separate seasons of NBC’s The Voice, while James placed 3rd on ABC’s American Idol) and solo acts.

Craig Wayne Boyd said of the group’s inception, “I had always wanted to be part of a Vocal group, and decided to really go for the idea last year around April. Casey and Adam were my first two calls, and I'm really glad they gave this a chance. When I heard our voices together in three-part harmony for the first time, I knew we were about to create something that would change all of our lives.”

“We all saw the benefit of bringing three different audiences together from a touring perspective, but none of us were committed to the band until we sat down and actually started making music together,” James told Billboard at the time. “Up to that point, it was just wishful thinking. The first day that we really worked up a few songs to test the waters really sealed the deal for us.”

“The music has come together in a really natural way,” says Wakefield. “Even though we all sing lead on different songs, we've been able to create our own Texas Hill sound... just like when you hear Fleetwood Mac, you know it's Fleetwood Mac. The timbres of our voices together, regardless of what register they're in, create their own sound.”

TRACK LISTING:

1. Four Roses (Craig Wayne Boyd/Casey James/Shannon Lawson/Adam Wakefield)

2. Easy On The Eyes (Craig Wayne Boyd/Casey James/Morgan Myles/Adam Wakefield)

3. Love Me When I’m Leaving (Adam Wakefield)

4. Sugar Cane (Craig Wayne Boyd/Brad Crissler/James Leblanc)

5. Darkest Sky (Ryan Beaver/James Leblanc/Mike Walker)

ROB MAYES RELEASES DEBUT EP, "CLOSER" - STARS IN LIFETIME'S HOLIDAY FILM, 'THE ROAD HOME FOR CHRISTMAS" PREMIERING OCTOBER 26

Country artist, Rob Mayes, has released his debut EP, Closer, which is now available through all streaming platforms and digital retailers. Mayes has had a busy year thus far, traveling between Nashville and L.A. recording new music and writing, while also acting in films that are soon to be released including “The Road Home For Christmas” and “A Soldiers Heart.” Mayes has been looking forward to releasing his debut project and says, “I wanted to share another one of my arts with the world. A friend. Another craft. A craft and art that to me, is the most important; one that’s kept me sane and offered solitude. That has provided me with strength in lonesome, sad, and doubting times. There’s something much more that can be conveyed with words and a melody, and a key, and a tempo and progression. It’s a universal language. And I hope people understand it and I hope that it might inspire. This is just the beginning.”

Closer includes seven tracks, all co-written by Mayes, that together shed light on Mayes’ influences and the canvas of his sound. When creating music, Mayes draws from an array of influences from his classical upbringing on piano to the country tracks he listened to as a kid riding shotgun in his dad’s truck. Having written countless songs ranging from pop to jazz, Mayes pulled from these influences to create an album that has a little something for everyone, complete with ballads, mid-tempos and upbeat tracks. “This album includes upbeat songs, songs of truth and feeling, songs of pain and happiness, the fun in ‘Kiss The Night,’ the flirtation of ‘Closer,’ the self-reflection of ‘Road With No Lines,’ vulnerability in ‘All It Takes,’ defiance of ‘Prospector,’ the uncertainty and tension and sadness in ‘Close My Eyes,’ the importance of faith and trusting in ‘We’ll See.’ These are the themes that I write about. They are universal. They are in me, and they are in all of us,” explains Mayes. Fans may recognize the track “All It Takes” from ABC’s “Mistresses” in which Mayes was a series regular.

In addition to Mayes’ new music, fans can also expect to see him this holiday season in the new Lifetime film, “The Road Home For Christmas,” set to premiere Oct. 26 at 8 pm ET on Lifetime. The film is part of the “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday campaign which will run from Oct. 25 to Dec. 25. Throughout this time, Lifetime is set to premiere 28 original films to celebrate the season.

DUO EVERETTE RELEASE SLOW ROLL EP TODAY

On the heels of burgeoning duo EVERETTE (Brent Rupard and Anthony Olympia) catapulting onto Country radio with its debut single “Slow Roll” arriving as the Most Added song of last week (6/18), the duo’s debut EP Slow Roll is available now at all digital retailers and streaming services. Buy or stream Slow Roll here: https://everette.lnk.to/slowroll_ep

The project, which was predominately co-written and co-produced by the duo features five tracks layered with intoxicating melodies and bluesy guitar licks which “beg repeated listens” (Nashville Scene).

Additionally, in case you missed it, Everette recently revealed its “Slow Roll” music video. Making an epic introduction with themes of laid-back, go-with-the-flow vibes, the video is a must-watch adventure from top to bottom. Olympia explained to Rolling Stone, "it was crazy. We got into a 1982 Winnebago, made our way to Memphis, broke down about 40 miles or so [outside Nashville] – still had a good time. Pretty much life lesson: things don't always go the way you plan, so you might as well have a good time with it. That's really what the song's about."

Slow Roll EP track list:

1) “Slow Roll” (Chris Dubois, Clint Lagerberg, Brent Rupard)

SHANE OWENS RELEASES NEW MUSIC PROJECT IT’S A SOUTHERN THING

Shane Owens has released his latest musical project, It’s A Southern Thing. It contains six tunes consistent with Owens’ traditional country sound with a modern edge, and includes his hit single, “Lie,” which garnered positive reviews from outlets such as Billboard and Rolling Stone Country. It’s A Southern Thing can be purchased or streamed here. Track-by-track and acoustic videos for the songs were exclusively premiered this week by RoughStock, Nashville Noise, Country Rebel and Country Music Tattle Tale.

“I’m a traditional country singer, and I’ve never strayed away from my roots,” Owens says. “It’s a little bit tougher at radio nowadays, but we’re trying to do our part to keep country music alive. Whether you're from out on the west coast all the way to the east coast down to Florida, we all have a little southern in us.”

“Easy harmonies and superb musicianship. Shane Owens shines brilliantly on his new six track EP, It’s a Southern Thing. Older listeners will smile and younger listeners will find their bodies swaying and not know why. These strong new songs demonstrate that the traditional country genre is still alive and thriving.”
- Mary Ann Kaylor Griffiths, NashVegas

From the humorous wordplay of the project’s first single, “Lie,” to the honky-tonk dancefloor beat of songs such as “Honky Tonk Girl,” there’s a little bit of something for everyone. However, there are some more serious moments as well. He celebrates his country upbringing on the emotionally stirring “It’s A Southern Thing,” and tips the hat to his musical influences on “Love To Try Them On,” where he celebrates the heritage of those who have come before him.

"Shane Owens is doing his part to bring authenticity back to country music. With his latest release It's a Southern Thing, Owens includes that classic 90s country sound on 'Love to Try Them On' and 'Honky Tonk Girl,' a traditionally deep cut in 'Working Man,' a slow ballad with the title track and he allows his humor to shine through on his current single 'Lie.' Owens also offers a wonderful surprise on track 5: 3 Doors Down's 2002 hit song 'Here Without You.'"
- Janeen Megloranzo, The Country Note

Now, with It’s A Southern Thing completed and released, Shane Owens is ready to share his new music with the world! You can pre-order a physical copy of the project, available July 13, at www.ShaneOwensCountry.com.

It’s A Southern Thing Track Listing:

1. Love To Try Them On (Galen Griffin, Coby Greer)

3. Working Man (Tony Stampley, James Holmes)
4. Honky Tonk Girl (Tommy Barnes)
5. Here Without You (Brad Arnold, Chris Henderson, Matt Roberts, Robert Harrell)

KELLEIGH BANNEN BREAKS BIG ON SIRIUSXM

First Artist to have THREE Songs Simultaneously Featured as a Highway Find:
"John Who," "Happy Birthday" and "The Joneses"

Kelleigh Bannen’s news announcing a simultaneous three-song SiriusXM’s The Highway Finds music premiere did not go out in advance of her appearance yesterday on the Storme Warren Show as the Nashville native couldn’t believe it was all really happening.

“I guess part of me didn’t want to jinx it?,” says the female powerhouse AXS calls “Nashville’s most underrated singer-songwriter.” “When you’ve been at it for over a decade like I have been, it’s almost unheard of to get this kind of support as an unsigned female in Country… three songs and this much airplay out of the gate? It’s powerful.

"The pressure was really off when we wrote and recorded these songs,” Bannen reflects of her three singles, “John Who,” The Joneses” and “Happy Birthday” that are simultaneously spinning on the mainstream country channel. She continues, “After I was dropped from my major label deal, a fearlessness set in as I really didn’t have anything else to lose.”

SiriusXM’s The Highway Finds program was developed as a tool for not only new music discovery but also as a platform to champion and, in turn, help break new artists through early airplay on a national level.

"Going through Kelleigh's new music, it became clear almost immediately that picking a 'first single' was going to be really tough...so we decided since all of the music is this great, why not just go with all three songs? So that's exactly what we did" adds J.R. Schumann, Senior Director of Programming for SiriusXM.

Kelleigh Bannen’s The Joneses:

"John Who"
Writers: Kelleigh Bannen, Will Bowen and Christopher Rafetto
Producer: Jaren Johnston

"Happy Birthday”
Writers: Kelleigh Bannen, Clair Douglas and Dallas Wilson
Producer: Jaren Johnston

"The Joneses"
Writers: Kelleigh Bannen, Todd Clark and Travis Wood
Producer: Todd Clark

Bannen will make another debut next month as the musical guest on SiriusXM The Highway’s Music Row Happy Hour, starting at 4 p.m. ET/3 p.m. CT on Friday, July 13. And you can always join in on The Highway by listening to Ch. 56.

All three songs are available now, listen here.

CRAIG CAMPBELL TO UNLEASH HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SEE YOU TRY EP ON JUNE 8

FIRST NEW COLLECTION IN FIVE YEARS INCLUDES HOT-BLOODED SINGLE,
“SEE YOU TRY”

SEVEN-TRACK SET ALSO FEATURES TWO VERSIONS OF FAITHFUL
“OUTSKIRTS OF HEAVEN”

Purchase/stream “See You Try” Here

The wait is over for Red Bow Records hitmaker CRAIG CAMPBELL and his legion of Country fans. Five years after the Georgia native last released a new collection of tunes, his SEE YOU TRY EP arrives on June 8.

Featuring seven tracks, which once again show off the smooth, expressive vocals and easy charisma that earn Campbell comparisons to icons like Alan Jackson, SEE YOU TRY finds the singer-songwriter maintaining his reputation for country authenticity – but also looking ahead to the future.

“For the past few years, I’ve created and found some of the best music of my career,” shared Campbell. “I’m beyond excited to release this EP and show the Country music world what I’ve been up to. I’m very proud of the music and can’t wait for everyone to finally hear these songs!”

Leading the project is the flirtatious new single “See You Try,” a hot-blooded barstool anthem that Rolling Stone calls “a big, bold song that shoots for the nosebleed seats of arenas everywhere.” The track is currently rising through the Country charts and has gathered nearly 1 million Spotify streams.

Meanwhile, SEE YOU TRY also includes two versions of Campbell’s “Outskirts of Heaven,” his most sincere and impactful single to date. Open hearted and full of faithful conviction, the uplifting critic’s hit is presented in both electric and acoustic settings.

Other standout moments on the highly-anticipated EP include the regretful romance of “Me Missing You,” the party-ready Tejano twang of “Mas Tequila,” the lusty rock ballad “Upstairs” and the slinky strut of “Kids in the South,” all written by top flight tunesmiths like Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, Jim Beavers, Ben Hayslip and Campbell himself.

Here’s the complete track list for SEE YOU TRY:

1. “See You Try” (James McNair, Tyler Hubbard, Bart Butler, Jordan Schmidt)
2. “Me Missing You” (Barry Dean, Jonathan Singleton, Dave Barnes)
3. “Outskirts of Heaven” (Craig Campbell, Dave Turnbull)
4. “Mas Tequila” (Craig Campbell, Jim Beavers, Chris DuBois)
5. “Upstairs” (Kelly Archer, Justin Weaver, Al Anderson)
6. “Kids in the South” (Chase McGill, Ben Hayslip)
7. “Outskirts of Heaven (Acoustic)” (Craig Campbell, Dave Turnbull)

In related news, Campbell will host his 6th Annual Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge on June 5th at Nashville’s City Winery. As a national spokesperson for Fight CRC – a charity organization which supports research, education and awareness for colorectal cancer – Campbell raised over $200,000 for the cause with last year’s event, and hopes to top that mark as fans donate for the chance to battle another star-studded lineup in 2018.

A regular guest on the historic Grand Ole Opry stage, exceptional vocalist and critically acclaimed live performer, Campbell is on the verge of breaking out to superstardom after nearly a decade of success on the Country radio airplay charts and beyond.

Songs like “Family Man,” “Fish” and “Outta My Head” struck a chord after the singer-songwriter was discovered in Nashville’s famous honky-tonk, The Stage. Since then, “Keep Them Kisses Comin’” has cracked Country radio’s Top 10 and “Outskirts of Heaven” found tastemakers praising Campbell’s heartfelt sincerity, paving the way for the next chapter of his story.

Campbell is coming off a standout year which included Luke Bryan’s 2017 HUNTIN’, FISHIN’ AND LOVIN’ EVERY DAY Tour, and will headline select dates across North America throughout the summer of 2018.

MISS MORGAN MYLES EP DROPS TODAY

Powerhouse Vocalist Tops Artist To Watch Lists for 2016 And Selected To Perform For
Nashville Lifestyle’s 12th Annual Music In The City (1/27)

Powerhouse vocalist Morgan Myles kicks off the New Year with the independent release of her undeniably refreshing EP Miss Morgan Myles today (1/8). Blending country, soul and R&B the stunning six-song collection includes fan-favorite song, “Whiskey Dreaming” and is now available on iTunes and across all digital retailers.

Named one of just a handful of artists “poised to tackle 2016’s music scene head-on” by Nashville Lifestyles, the triple threat vocalist, songwriter and guitarist is making her mark topping several Artist To Watch Lists for 2016 with MySpace.com saying “Simply put, this Pennsylvania native has ‘it’ --in spades.” TasteOfCountry.com listed her as an artist who makes “indie look good” with “music that sticks to the ribs.” Myle’s soaring set of pipes, captivating stage presence and charisma also landed her on the lineup for Nashville Lifestyle’s 12th Annual Music In The City taking place at Tin Roof (316 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37219) on Jan. 27.

"I’m so grateful for all the support from my fans, friends, family and the music community. My producer and I worked really hard on this project, closing the doors to the world for over a year to focus only on recording the music for this EP, and I really feel like we found my sound and my style in the process. This EP is a true reflection of who I am both as an artist and as a mature and confident woman. I’m so excited to be able to share it with my fans and I think a lot of people will be able to relate to the stories throughout, and I hope they groove along with me too,” said Myles.

Produced by RioVilleMusic, Myles co-wrote all of the songs off her EP Miss Morgan Myles revealing stories from her own personal life including letting go of an old flame that wasn’t the one, reflected in the lyrics on groovy “Whiskey Dreaming.” She follows that up with the self-penned “Queen Of Hearts,” which finishes the story of the ill-fated relationship calling love a ‘dangerous game.’ Launching into the up-tempo, spirited anthem “We Won’t Go Home,” Myles shows off her playful personality and then dives with conviction into “Adeline,” and “Nobody Better Than You,” which MySpace.com highlights as a track that showcases Myles vocal range as one that is “second to none” adding, “Nashville hasn’t seen anything as smoldering as the sensual ‘Nobody Better Than You’ since the days of Hill and Twain.”

Turning heads with her sultry voice and Country-soul sound, Morgan Myles launched onto Nashville’s music scene with lead single “Whiskey Dreaming,” which was featured on iHeartRadio.com, TasteOfCountry.com and CMT, and is included on her EP Miss Morgan Myles. Inspired by big voices of the 90s, the Williamsport, PA native packed up her bags and moved to Nashville, TN nearly a decade ago to pursue her music career. Since then, she has teamed up on projects with the legendary Vance Powell, collaborated with top tunesmiths Richie Brown (Garth Brooks, Jerrod Niemann) and Rebecca Lynn Howard (Martina McBride, Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood) and opened for shows for Reba McEntire, Hank Williams Jr., Rick Springfield and more. Making an imprint on Nashville and fans across North America, Myles performed for the Vancouver Winter Olympics and most recently performed with Jim Lauderdale and Leigh Nash for Music City Roots, where she brought the crowd to their feet. Myles is gearing up to perform a run of shows in Nashville, TN including performances at The Basement East (1/12), Nashville Lifestyle’s 12th Annual Music In The City at Tin Roof (1/27), 12th & Porter (2/14) and more. Hot New Single “Cut Me Some Slack” To Hit Country Radio Next Week

NASHVILLE, TN (September 3, 2013) – Country music newcomer Chris Janson releases his debut self-titled EP to all digital retailers today (9/3) via Bigger Picture Group. Produced by Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band), the five-song project features the dynamic multi-instrumentalist’s brand new single “Cut Me Some Slack” and Top 40 hit “Better I Don’t.”

“I’m thrilled to get new music to the country fans,” says Chris Janson. “All of the songs on the EP are autobiographical and these are such fun stories for me to share!”

“Cut Me Some Slack” exclusively premiered on SiruisXM’s The Highway and debuted in the Top 100 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The catchy song will hit Country radio stations nationwide next week.

The talented songwriter, who has already scored cuts with artists such as Tim McGraw (“Truck Yeah”) and Justin Moore (“Off The Beaten Path”), wrote or co-wrote all of the songs featured on the EP.

Since releasing “Better I Don’t,” Janson has been gaining attention nationwide from media and fans alike. Most recently, he garnered great ink in Nashville Lifestyle’s “The Hot List” issue and Billboard’s “The Next Wave in Country Rock” feature. With undeniable charisma, he brings a blue-collar, working-class, boot-stomping hillbilly redneck attitude to bear on every live performance, earning him opening slots for music legends Merle Haggard and Hank Williams Jr. as well as regular appearances on the Grand Ole Opry.

He began writing at just 18 with an impressive group of musicians from the likes of Guns N' Roses to Bill Anderson. The Perryville, Missouri, native first broke onto the Nashville music scene when he landed a year long, four show a day gig at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge on Nashville’s Lower Broadway.

Currently, Janson is on the road visiting radio and playing shows across the country in support of the new EP with upcoming dates in Portland, OR (9/8), Tallahassee, FL (9/13) and Presto, PA (9/14).

EP REVIEW: "KRYSTAL KEITH" - THE DEBUT EP FROM KRYSTAL KEITH

EP: "Krystal Keith"
Artist: Krystal Keith
Label: Showdog Universal Music
Release Date: April 16, 2013

She may be Toby Keith's pride and joy, but Krystal Keith proves she's more than just a country superstar's daughter, she's a great songwriter and artist in her own right. With a talent thicker than molasses running through her veins, her ability to touch the heart through her voice and words proves that she's got what it takes to make it on her own in this business. Krystal's voice is the perfect blend of "Whiskey and Lace", the title of her upcoming debut full length cd. It's a combination of softness with a rough edge. Until that cd is released, fans will just have to tide themselves over with this teasing 4 song EP.

In the debut single from the EP, the "lace" side of Krystal is revealed in "Daddy Dance With Me", a very personal musical gift written as a gift for her father that she "unwrapped" during the father-daughter dance at her wedding. The song is the ultimate thank you to any father from their daughter and is sure to bring tears to the eyes of those soft hearts that hear it. Wonderfully written and perfectly, yet simply sung, this one is already making an impact on fans everywhere. We hope country radio sees what we see in it, a radio ready emotional hit. "Can't Buy You Money", featured on Toby's earlier cd, "White Trash with Money" is her strongest song, vocally, on the EP. It showcases her vocal range and shows that she's not another "one octave wonder". It's obvious that Toby's influence is sandwiched in between layers of her own personality in this one and also in "What Did You Think I'd Do", just the title screams Toby, but we like it and we're good with it. I think once the entire full length cd is released, we'll have a deeper, more concrete idea as to the kind of artist Krystal is determined to be. Until that cd is available, we can say that "we like her, we REALLY REALLY like her" and think you will too.
