CRAIG CAMPBELL TO UNLEASH HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SEE YOU TRY EP ON JUNE 8

FIRST NEW COLLECTION IN FIVE YEARS INCLUDES HOT-BLOODED SINGLE,
“SEE YOU TRY”

SEVEN-TRACK SET ALSO FEATURES TWO VERSIONS OF FAITHFUL
“OUTSKIRTS OF HEAVEN”

Purchase/stream “See You Try” Here

The wait is over for Red Bow Records hitmaker CRAIG CAMPBELL and his legion of Country fans. Five years after the Georgia native last released a new collection of tunes, his SEE YOU TRY EP arrives on June 8.

Featuring seven tracks, which once again show off the smooth, expressive vocals and easy charisma that earn Campbell comparisons to icons like Alan Jackson, SEE YOU TRY finds the singer-songwriter maintaining his reputation for country authenticity – but also looking ahead to the future.

“For the past few years, I’ve created and found some of the best music of my career,” shared Campbell. “I’m beyond excited to release this EP and show the Country music world what I’ve been up to. I’m very proud of the music and can’t wait for everyone to finally hear these songs!”

Leading the project is the flirtatious new single “See You Try,” a hot-blooded barstool anthem that Rolling Stone calls “a big, bold song that shoots for the nosebleed seats of arenas everywhere.” The track is currently rising through the Country charts and has gathered nearly 1 million Spotify streams.

Meanwhile, SEE YOU TRY also includes two versions of Campbell’s “Outskirts of Heaven,” his most sincere and impactful single to date. Open hearted and full of faithful conviction, the uplifting critic’s hit is presented in both electric and acoustic settings.

Other standout moments on the highly-anticipated EP include the regretful romance of “Me Missing You,” the party-ready Tejano twang of “Mas Tequila,” the lusty rock ballad “Upstairs” and the slinky strut of “Kids in the South,” all written by top flight tunesmiths like Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, Jim Beavers, Ben Hayslip and Campbell himself.

Here’s the complete track list for SEE YOU TRY:

1. “See You Try” (James McNair, Tyler Hubbard, Bart Butler, Jordan Schmidt)
2. “Me Missing You” (Barry Dean, Jonathan Singleton, Dave Barnes)
3. “Outskirts of Heaven” (Craig Campbell, Dave Turnbull)
4. “Mas Tequila” (Craig Campbell, Jim Beavers, Chris DuBois)
5. “Upstairs” (Kelly Archer, Justin Weaver, Al Anderson)
6. “Kids in the South” (Chase McGill, Ben Hayslip)
7. “Outskirts of Heaven (Acoustic)” (Craig Campbell, Dave Turnbull)

In related news, Campbell will host his 6th Annual Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge on June 5th at Nashville’s City Winery. As a national spokesperson for Fight CRC – a charity organization which supports research, education and awareness for colorectal cancer – Campbell raised over $200,000 for the cause with last year’s event, and hopes to top that mark as fans donate for the chance to battle another star-studded lineup in 2018.

A regular guest on the historic Grand Ole Opry stage, exceptional vocalist and critically acclaimed live performer, Campbell is on the verge of breaking out to superstardom after nearly a decade of success on the Country radio airplay charts and beyond.

Songs like “Family Man,” “Fish” and “Outta My Head” struck a chord after the singer-songwriter was discovered in Nashville’s famous honky-tonk, The Stage. Since then, “Keep Them Kisses Comin’” has cracked Country radio’s Top 10 and “Outskirts of Heaven” found tastemakers praising Campbell’s heartfelt sincerity, paving the way for the next chapter of his story.

Campbell is coming off a standout year which included Luke Bryan’s 2017 HUNTIN’, FISHIN’ AND LOVIN’ EVERY DAY Tour, and will headline select dates across North America throughout the summer of 2018.

“AMERICAN IDOL" TOP 10 FINALIST, DEXTER ROBERTS, RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE "DREAM ABOUT ME" TO COUNTRY RADIO

Roberts’ Debut EP, Dream About Me, Available on iTunes March 24

PERSONAL NOTE: Fantastic to see Ash Bowers, a great artist in his own right, as a songwriter on this CD and that they chose to cut his single (and my favorite), "Heaven Is A Small Town." What a wonderful song!

PRESS RELEASE

(Nashville, Tenn. – March 11, 2015) – “American Idol: Season 13” Top Ten finalist and First Launch Records artist, Dexter Roberts, will release his debut single, “Dream About Me,” to Country radio tomorrow, March 12, 2015.

“Dream About Me,” co-written by Roberts, Don Goodman, Brad Wolf and David Jones and produced by Grammy-nominated writer/producer Erik Nelson, was recorded at Eclipse Studio in Normal, Ill. The release marks Roberts’ radio debut and first release since finishing in seventh place overall on “American Idol: Season 13.”

Roberts commented on his radio debut, saying, “Writing this song was an amazing experience. I had the opportunity to write with songwriting legend Don Goodman and the production process was mind-blowing. Getting to watch this song come to fruition was a dream come true!”

Roberts will release his debut EP, Dream About Me, on March 24. Produced and co-written by Grammy-nominated writer/producer Erik Nelson, the four-track EP features three tracks co-written by Roberts with additional writer credits, including songwriting heavy-weight Don Goodman (“Ol’ Red” by Blake Shelton, “Feelins’” by Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty, “Ring on Her Finger, Time on Her Hands” by Reba McEntire, “Angels Among Us” by Alabama).

Goodman commented of Roberts, “It’s a thrill to work with such an exciting young artist with a great voice and tremendous writing instincts.”

Dream About Me Track Listing:

1. “This Day Is Gonna Be Good” (Dexter Roberts / Don Goodman / Brad Wolf)

2. “Who You Are” (Dexter Roberts / Ash Bowers / Neal Coty)

3. “Dream About Me” (Dexter Roberts / Don Goodman / Brad Wolf / David Jones / Erik Nelson)

4. “Heaven Is A Small Town” (Ash Bowers / Chuck Jones / Derek George)

As a self-taught musician who plays guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin and keys, music has been a part of Roberts’ life since he was a toddler. At age 5, his grandparents bought Roberts his first instrument – a red plastic guitar. He instantly fell in love with the guitar and became determined to learn the craft. Roberts grew up working the family farm in Fayette, Ala. where he would spend his days and nights perfecting his craft and playing sold-out shows for the cattle he tended to while working the land. When Roberts learned that the “American Idol” bus was making a stop in nearby Tuscaloosa, Ala., he stood in line with thousands of hopefuls to try his luck on the famed show.

After starting audition day off with two flat tires and borrowing the Roberts family’s “little blue car” (a worn-out Nissan) to get to the audition, he was determined to give the best performance of his life. Thousands of hopefuls showed up that day and ultimately only five would be asked to continue on in “American Idol: Season 13.” That day, not one, but two fellow competitors had instrument issues and Dexter gladly let both of them use his guitar to audition – ironically, all three of them would continue to the next round.

Roberts, who quickly became a fan favorite after grabbing the attention of Country heavyweight and “American Idol” judge, Keith Urban, who called Roberts “the real deal,” has recently signed a recording contract with First Launch Records.
