CHRIS JANSON AND JUSTIN MOORE RIDE SHOTGUN WITH DARRYL WORLEY ON "TRACTOR TIME"

New Song Available Everywhere Now

Listen to "Tractor Time" HERE

Platinum-selling Darryl Worley has rallied a couple of famous friends to help him bale up an all-new tune that pays homage to a favorite pastime of country living. Country superstars Chris Janson and Justin Moore join Worley on "Tractor Time," available everywhere today via The Valory Music Co. On "Tractor Time" (written by Worley and Phil O’Donnell), Worley, Janson and Moore croon together on the therapeutic element of making circles in a field after a long day's work.

"My new song, 'Tractor Time,' drops today and I think it's the perfect summer anthem," explains Worley. "I’m so grateful to have Justin Moore and Chris Janson on this tune with me. It’s a fun little number with a big fat groove and a contagious melody. Turn up the dial and get yourself a little dose of redneck therapy."

"I have always had a ton of respect for Darryl Worley," shares Moore. "He’s a great writer, a great country singer and a great artist overall. Most importantly though, he’s a great human being. I’m honored to be on a song with him, as I’ve been a fan for a long time.”

Janson echoes Moore's sentiment. "I’ve always had a great respect for Darryl. He’s a great guy and a great American,” he says. “I’m very proud that he asked me to join him on 'Tractor Time.'”

THE FRONTMEN'S SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUM ARRIVES TODAY VIA BBR MUSIC GROUP/BMG NASHVILLE

Stream and Download "The Frontmen" HERE

THE FRONTMEN, three of ‘90s country’s most recognizable voices — Richie McDonald, formerly of Lonestar; Tim Rushlow, formerly of Little Texas; and Larry Stewart of Restless Heart — today release their self-titled debut album via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville.
The Frontmen, produced by two-time GRAMMY-nominated Mickey Jack Cones, features nine original songs, as well as three Lonestar, Little Texas and Restless Heart No. 1 hits, re-recorded Frontmen-style. The trio tag team lead vocals throughout.

"It's super cool to release brand new Frontmen music as a full album," says Stewart. "I'm so excited about this music, these songs and how this project represents the three of us so perfectly. Mickey Jack Cones did a magical job capturing Richie, Tim and myself from top to bottom. I can’t wait for the world to hear it and I couldn’t be more proud!"

Original tunes on the project ("Beatles and Eagles," "The Radio Played," "Layin' Low in Mexico," "It Was Always You," "Rattlesnake," "I Need You," "Goodbye Beautiful Goodbye," "Should've Run Out of Angels" and "Left Their Mark") were hand-picked by the trio and Cones. Classic tunes on the album are songs most will instantly recognize: Lonestar's “Amazed (The Frontmen Edition),” Little Texas' “God Blessed Texas (The Frontmen Edition)” and Restless Heart's “I’ll Still Be Loving You (The Frontmen Edition).”

"I feel like a kid on Christmas morning, waiting to unwrap the presents," notes McDonald. "We’ve been anxiously waiting to unwrap this new Frontmen music and share with the world for awhile now. Thanks to everyone involved for help making this dream a reality."

“It feels quite surreal to finally let the world in on what we have been cooking in the kitchen with The Frontmen," adds Rushlow. "For 14 years playing select shows at home and overseas for our men and women in uniform, it's time to see what the world thinks of us! I am more proud of this record with Larry and Richie than any music I have ever been involved in making. Mickey Jack Cones is a true believer who totally knew where to navigate this new sound and yet still be reminiscent of our past successes. We are so grateful to Jon Loba and his team at BMG Nashville for this opportunity. Let's GO!"

BFD / AUDIUM NASHVILLE AND BLUE HAT RECORDS TO RELEASE SPECIAL EDITION VINYLS OF THREE LEGENDARY CHARLIE DANIELS RECORDINGS

Limited Edition Vinyls Arriving in Time for  2023 Holiday Season
Include Off The Grid: Doin’ It Dylan, Memories,
Memoirs & Miles: Songs of a Lifetime and Night Hawk

Ahead of the 2023 holiday season, BFD / Audium Nashville and Blue Hat Records are releasing several special edition vinyl albums from the late Charlie Daniels. Albums dropping over the next few weeks include Daniels’ Off The Grid: Doin’ It Dylan (Silver vinyl / available Nov. 3), Memories, Memoirs & Miles: Songs of a Lifetime (Orchid Purple vinyl / available Nov. 17) and Night Hawk (Black vinyl / available Nov. 24). Each vinyl is limited to 1,000 individually numbered units available for purchase via The Orchard.

"This is the first wave of Charlie Daniels releases we have strategically mapped out for the next 18 months with many more to come,” explains Bob Frank, CEO / Founder of BFE and Partner for Blue Hat Records. "The archive is vast and we are all thrilled to start this campaign.”

"Along with our partners at BFD, we are excited about the launch of new vinyl releases of some of Charlie's most cherished works," adds David Corlew, Daniels' longtime manager and Blue Hat Records Partner. "These projects were so special to Charlie as he paid tribute to some of Dylan's wonderful songs, as well as sharing the music and lifestyle he so dearly loved, the life of the working cowboy. This bed of work offers a broad stroke of Charlie's musical creativity, with beautiful packaging by Erick Anderson. These are a must for anyone's vinyl collection.”

Off the Grid: Doin' It Dylan is a tribute album to Bob Dylan. The album of Dylan covers was released in 2014. When Daniels first moved to Nashville, he played guitar on three of Dylan's albums, which were recorded there. Daniels attributed playing on these albums for helping him learn about the music business and especially for showing him how to lead his own band. He noted that Dylan had a sense of freedom and that he let the musician play the way he wanted to, instead of telling him how to play.

Night Hawk was originally released in 2016. The album is Daniels' take on classic cowboy country, honoring tales told by cowboys around a campfire, with a mixture of re-worked classics, as well as more obscure tunes.

Originally released in 2017, Daniels’ Memories Memoirs & Miles: Songs of a Lifetime contains some of his biggest hit songs including “Long Haired Country Boy,” “Still in Saigon,” “Simple Man,” The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” “Uneasy Rider” and more. Daniels dedicated the album to Russell Palmer, the man and friend who taught him his first guitar chord.

DARRYL WORLEY DELIVERS REIMAGINED VERSION OF BIGGEST HIT FOR 20TH ANNIVERSARY

Have We Forgotten” Gives Fresh Modern-Day Perspective
on Song’s Original Themes

PLATINUM-selling singer/songwriter Darryl Worley recognizes the power of a song. It’s been two decades since his biggest hit “Have You Forgotten?” took Country Music and the nation by storm. Penned alongside Wynn Varble, the pair poured their hearts into lyric and created a post-9/11 anthem ensuring people would never forget those lost. Its message quickly resonated with millions, topping Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart in only its fifth week – marking the fastest rise to the top in more than five years – and reigned for seven weeks. Now, 20 years later, Worley revisited his career-defining song with a fresh modern-day perspective on its original themes for a reimagined version titled “Have We Forgotten,” available now via The Valory Music Co.

“One of the first times we played ‘Have You Forgotten?’ live back then was on the Grand Ole Opry. The incredible response we received from that performance is how it all started,” recalled Worley. “We recently decided to sit down and write a new lyric for the song that’s appropriate for this day and time with what’s happening in our country today. For the new version ‘Have We Forgotten,’ we wanted to be certain we said what we were truly feeling in our hearts and didn’t compromise what we believe in, which is exactly how it went down with the original. I’m very proud of the message of the song.”

Worley recently debuted “Have We Forgotten” on the same stage he did the original version 20 years ago – in the hallowed circle at the Grand Ole Opry. Featuring all new lyrics from Worley and Varble, alongside co-writer Noah Gordan, the trio now wonders during the chorus:

"Have we forgotten
Who we really are
All the storms we’ve had to weather
And how we ever got this far
Have we forgotten
How it used to be
When we could still sit down together and agree to disagree"

The new release finds Worley reuniting with trailblazing label executives Scott Borchetta, Allison Jones, George Briner and Jimmy Harnen who were pivotal players at DreamWorks – now all at Big Machine Label Group – when the original version launched in 2003.

“Scott, Allison, George and Jimmy were on my team at DreamWorks when ‘Have You Forgotten?’ hit number one and were instrumental in my early successes as an artist,” Worley adds. “It’s an unbelievable honor and beyond humbling to have the opportunity to release a new version of that career song with these same people. Second chances are hard to come by and I don’t take this moment to work with this special group of people lightly! I know Scott’s work ethic, passion, drive and heart so I can’t think of anything more perfect than to be reunited with him and this dream team for ‘Have We Forgotten.’”

“It is so great to be reunited with Darryl twenty years on from the impact of “Have You Forgotten?” and remind everyone about its moment in history,” said Borchetta, Chairman & CEO of BMLG. “Now, he’s reimagined this classic with a timely and relevant read posing a question that all Americans are asking themselves – ‘how did we get here?’” Borchetta continues, “America experienced this extraordinary moment with 9/11 that brought us all together and now, here we are twenty years later, and our political parties can’t agree on what day it is. Hopefully, this will be a positive step forward in reminding us all that, as Americans, we’re at our best when we’re taking care of each other.”

Receiving CMA’s highest honor, the Pinnacle Award, was the surprise of the night, and we are so honored and humbled."

The Pinnacle Award recognizes an artist or group who has undeniably redefined the pinnacle of success in the genre by achieving prominence through concert performances, consumption numbers, record sales and/or other significant industry achievements at levels unique for country music. They have also attained the highest degree of recognition within the broad expanse of music worldwide, and their talent and presence will have a long-term positive impact on the appreciation of country music for generations to come.

"We understand that the only others who have received this award are Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and Garth Brooks," adds Gentry. "That puts us with some amazing talent that are still recording and touring. We thank the CMA board for this award and are thankful to the three generations of fans who love our music."

Last week, country group BlackHawk and southern rock band The Outlaws, continued their yearly charitable giving, this time donating a collective $75,0000 to MusiCares and the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.

Henry Paul, a member of BlackHawk, as well as the sole original active member of The Outlaws, presented a $50,000 check to Vanderbilt on behalf of BlackHawk's "Van Stephenson Memorial Cancer Research Fund.” Stephenson, a founding member of BlackHawk, passed away from melanoma in 2001. Additionally, The Outlaws donated $25,000 to MusiCares.

"BlackHawk's commitment to the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center goes back to the mid-nineties and our involvement with the charity event, Country In The Rockies,” explains Paul. "Since establishing our own 501C in the early 2000’s, in the name of our diseased bandmate Van Stephenson, we have donated close to $500,000 to the research lab for cancer research.”

BlackHawk and The Outlaws plan to continue their annual donations for years to come.

"In 2014, The Outlaws established MusiCares as the beneficiary of their charitable efforts and have since donated close to $150,000 to that outstanding organization,” Paul continues. "Our charity director, Lori Eyler, works tirelessly in these fundraising efforts, and we'd like to recognize Bobby Orr, and the Robert E. & Marie Orr Smith Foundation for their generous support."

WAR HIPPIES’ MUSIC VIDEO “THE HANGMAN” WINS 2023 TELLY AWARD FOR CRAFT VIDEOGRAPHY/CINEMATOGRAPHY

The official music video for country music duo War Hippies’ explosive second single, “The Hangman,” has garnered a 2023 Silver Telly Award for Craft Videography/Cinematography (Non-Broadcast). Upon its release last fall, the video was featured on The Country Network and the VEVO True Country playlist and has racked up over 1 million views on YouTube alone.

Produced by band members Scooter Brown and Donnie Reis and directed and edited by Paul Gaehring, the video is set in 1875 and follows the story of a good man-turned-outlaw who is forced to go on the run to try to protect the “angel” he loves. With its stunning cinematography and tragic ending, the video embodies the throwback country sound and penchant for authentic storytelling that have earned War Hippies critical acclaim and solidified the pair’s status as one of country music’s most promising new acts.

“This song was inspired by a conversation we had around a campfire with Kurt Russell about his character, The Hangman, in the movie The Hateful Eight. Our drummer on tour also happens to be an incredible cinematographer, which made it easy to shoot the video while touring out West, and everything was done in-house, from concept to filming to editing,” said Brown.

Added Reis, “This was an amazing collaborative effort, with friends and family generously allowing us to film with their horses, props, farm and cabin. They cooked for us, built the gallows and even dressed up and appeared as extras in the shoot, while a combat veteran friend of ours, Gamble Alexander, starred in the video alongside his now-girlfriend, Lauren Payne. We’re proud to share this award with all of them and everyone on our team who supported the video’s creation.

The duo's other latest music video titled "Make It Out Alive" aired on Country Rebel for Memorial Day, honoring our troops with a song that speaks on the Veteran suicide crisis while encouraging those who are fighting to hold on to hope. Check it out here: .

THE FRONTMEN RELEASE LONG AWAITED NEW MUSIC

"Left Their Mark” and "Amazed (The Frontmen Edition)”
Available for Streaming Today

Download or Stream Here

The Frontmen (Larry Stewart of Restless Heart; Richie McDonald, formerly of Lonestar; and Tim Rushlow, formerly of Little Texas) today released two fresh songs through their new label home, BMG/BBR Music Group. “Left Their Mark” and “Amazed (The Frontmen Edition)” are available now through all digital streaming music providers.

These debut songs from The Frontmen feature McDonald singing lead on “Left Their Mark,” which gives a heartfelt nod to our men and women in uniform, and “Amazed (The Frontmen Edition),” a re-record of Lonestar’s 1999 No. 1 smash hit.

With Memorial Day approaching, McDonald feels the timing is right for the world to hear the red, white and blue drenched, “Left Their Mark.” The song was written by McDonald and hit tunesmith James Dean Hicks.

“It’s crazy to think a song that me and James Dean Hicks wrote over thirteen years ago now has a chance to touch some hearts and leave a mark on the world," says McDonald. "That’s what I love about making music.”

The national television broadcast premiere of "Left Their Mark" happens this Memorial Day weekend on the Tunnel to Towers Dallas Never Forget Concert Country Music Salutes America’s Heroes TV special. Stewart, McDonald and Rushlow join an all-star lineup of Jelly Roll, Tanya Tucker, Ian Munsick, Dennis Quaid, Krista Marie and more, in saluting our nation's military heroes and first responders. The program will air across multiple broadcast partners in the coming months, beginning with this weekend's premiere across major FOX affiliate markets. Click here for broadcast details. Watch the sizzle reel here.

These new songs from The Frontmen are but a taste of what’s to come from the three legendary voices of '90s country. More tunes, all of which will be included on an upcoming album, will be released in the coming months, with Stewart, Rushlow and McDonald tag-teaming lead vocals. Two-time GRAMMY-nominated Mickey Jack Cones is producing the project.

COUNTRY MUSIC LEGEND JOHN ANDERSON HEADLINES RYMAN AUDITORIUM FOR FIRST TIME IN CAREER

Over the course of his near 50-year career, country music legend John Anderson, to the surprise of many, has never headlined Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. That all changed on Sunday, May 21, when the veteran singer-songwriter took the stage at the historic "Mother Church" of country music.

"The Ryman is one of my favorite places to perform, period," Anderson shared with The Tennessean prior to his concert. "Personally, it's a special deal for me."

Before a full house, Anderson slayed through hit after hit, performing classics such as "Swingin," "Seminole Wind," "Straight Tequila Night," "Money in the Bank" and many more.

“I was part of Waylon’s last album recorded there and have been a part of Marty Stuart's Late Night Jam a few times," says Anderson. "But to have a whole evening with my fans felt very special.“
