ACM Lifting Lives®, the philanthropic partner of the Academy of Country Music®, announced today the return of ACM Lifting Lives LIVE, presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, the tentpole fundraising event of ACM Awards Week, which brings together artists, industry members, and fans for an all-star concert on the golfing green at Topgolf The Colony on May 15, ahead of the 59th ACM Awards® the following evening. ACM Award winner Parker McCollum will serve as the headliner for this year’s highly-anticipated event, with additional performers to be announced in the coming weeks.

In its second year in Texas, Parker McCollum and Friends: ACM Lifting Lives LIVE, Presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts will raise money and awareness for ACM Lifting Lives, which works to improve lives through the power of music with a specific focus on health-related initiatives that use music therapy as a way of healing. Significant annual commitments include the ACM Lifting Lives Autism Lab at Vanderbilt Kennedy Center and their annual Music Camp, a week-long, music-driven, residential program for individuals with Williams syndrome. Their work also includes contributions to various organizations that provide mental health support for the country music community, along with grants through The Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund, given to individuals who face unexpected emergencies or hardships.

"I am truly honored that ACM Lifting Lives has given me the opportunity to host the Parker McCollum & Friends: ACM Lifting Lives event this year at Topgolf in The Colony, TX,” McCollum says. “The work they do to improve lives through the power of music and the funds they raise are vital to helping folks in and out of our Country music community. I can't wait to have some of my really talented friends join me for a great night supporting the mission of ACM Lifting Lives and help them continue their incredible work."

“The support of Country Music artists and the industry as a whole are what makes the impactful work of ACM Lifting Lives possible,” explained ACM Lifting Lives Executive Director Lyndsay Cruz. “We have been massive fans of Parker for years, and we couldn’t be more excited that he chose to volunteer his time to help us raise money and awareness in his home state. We can’t wait to party with the fans in north Texas so soon!”

Portion Of Every Ticket Dedicated To Improving Lives Through The Power of Music
Tickets Are On Sale Now

Platinum-selling country star Kristian Bush is teaming up with the Academy of Country Music for a concert at The Troubadour (9081 Santa Monica Blvd) in West Hollywood, CA on Thursday, August 27 to benefit ACM Lifting Lives. Bush will be joined by special guest Rita Wilson, the actress, singer, and producer whose critically-acclaimed debut album AM/FM was released in 2012 and whose new album will be released in early 2016. The show kicks off at 8p.m. and a portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music and their mission to improve lives through the power of music. Tickets are on sale now and fans can purchase them online by visiting http://www.troubadour.com/event/879885-kristian-bush-sugarland-los-angeles/.

Building on the release of his solo debut with catchy Top 20 hit “Trailer Hitch,” Bush’s new single “Light Me Up” is an anthemic love song that has already been spotlighted as a favorite track on APPLE MUSIC, PEOPLE, ETONLINE, and BILLBOARD.COM. The stunning lyric video featuring real couples in love can be viewed HERE.

Both songs are featured on Bush’s debut solo album SOUTHERN GRAVITY, which COUNTRY WEEKLY named the “feel-good album of the year.” It received rave reviews across the board, including THE BOSTON GLOBE, ROLLING STONE, USA TODAY, and THE SYDNEY MORNING HERALD.

The GRAMMY-winning recording artist has been leaving his mark on music for more than two decades. The singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist started his career with folk-rock duo Billy Pilgrim in the early ‘90s; in 2004, he exploded onto the country music scene with Sugarland, surpassing sales of over 22 million albums worldwide, achieving five No. 1 singles and winning numerous awards, including GRAMMYs, AMAs, ACMs, CMT Music Awards and CMAs. To date, Bush has garnered six BMI Awards for his songwriting, and in 2011 he founded the music publishing company and songwriting collective Songs of the Architect. Recent collaborations include Laura Bell Bundy, Larkin Poe, Dan Tyminski, Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale and more. Bush is currently serving as a celebrity ambassador for Goodwill Industries International, with “Trailer Hitch” featured as the centerpiece of their #GiveItAway campaign.

THE NON-PROFIT, TASK FORCE DAGGER FOUNDATION, WILL USE $25,000 DONATION FROM ACM LIFTING LIVES® TO PROVIDE IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE TO WOUNDED VETERANS

Foundation Was Gifted Check Donation at Taping for ACM Presents: Superstar Duets; Special Premieres TONIGHT at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS Television Network

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 15, 2015) – Tonight, Friday, May 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on the CBS Television Network, ACM Presents: Superstar Duets two-hour special will bring some of country music’s brightest stars together on-stage for never-before-seen duet performances – the product of a two-day live event taping in Arlington, Texas leading up to the 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. But what a lot of viewers don’t know, is that ticket proceeds from the live event went to support a great cause: ACM Lifting Lives®, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music®, and military philanthropies.

One of those military institutions was the 501(c)(3) non-profit, Task Force Dagger Foundation, which was presented a $25,000 check donation on stage at the April 18 taping in Arlington, Texas by country music star Brantley Gilbert and Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Task Force Dagger Foundation’s managing director, Keith David, (pictured, center) and Chuck Yerry (pictured, right) were on hand to accept the generous donation on the foundation’s behalf.

Board members of Task Force Dagger Foundation say they will use the contribution from ACM Lifting Lives® to fuel their primary mission and provide immediate financial assistance to wounded and ill soldiers and their families, as well as the families of fallen soldiers of The United States Army Special Operations Command.

“Task Force Dagger Foundation is very judicious in how we disburse our funds and we are working very diligently to ensure that where the money will go is where it is supposed to go: to soldiers and their families,” said Keith David. “We are honored and humbled by this generous gift from ACM Lifting Lives® and we look forward to witnessing improvement in the lives of those brave and heroic soldiers who've served our country as a result."

Operating since 2009, Task Force Dagger Foundation assists U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) soldiers and their families when a valid need is identified – either through the unit command, or through the SOCOM Care Coalition – with outreach programs and services classified in areas such as ‘immediate needs,’ ‘SOF Health Awareness,’ and ‘Recreational Therapy Events.’

Hannah Martin, manager of ACM Lifting Lives® said, “"ACM Lifting Lives® is proud to support Task Force Dagger Foundation as one of our military beneficiaries this year. We hope this donation makes a difference in the lives of wounded veterans that receive immediate assistance through the good work of this foundation.”

This isn't the first time Task Force Dagger Foundation has seen support from the country music community. The Journey Home Project, another non-profit organization deeply rooted in the country music industry, with country legend Charlie Daniels as its Chairman of The Board, and Daniels’ long-time manager, David Corlew as its co-founder, has been one of the biggest supporters of the mission of the Task Force Dagger Foundation.

“The Journey Home Project was founded to seek out and assist those veterans organizations that do the most good by matching them with donors,” said Daniels. “The Task Force Dagger Foundation is without a doubt, one of those worthy organizations that truly makes a difference in the lives of veterans.”

TIM MCGRAW TO AWARD 25 HOMES TO VETERANS DURING SUMMER TOUR

Country music superstar Tim McGraw is launching a nationwide program called HomeFront in partnership with Chase and Operation Homefront to award mortgage-free homes to wounded warriors and service members in need at each concert of his summer tour.

Additionally, both ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music, and The Premier Group on behalf of the North Carolina Furniture Manufacturers, have made substantial contributions to support the program throughout the summer.

McGraw has a long history and deep interest in supporting veterans and military families and wanted to find another way to honor our vets and give back to them for their commitment and service to our country. To kick-start the HomeFront program, McGraw will perform a special Memorial Day concert of remembrance and gratitude for servicemembers at New York City's Beacon Theatre during Fleet Week in partnership with Chase and the United Service Organizations (USO). The show will be streamed live via YouTube and to military bases around the world on The Pentagon Channel.

“My sister’s a veteran of the first Gulf War. My uncle was a Vietnam veteran and my grandfather was a World War II veteran. I've always felt a deep sense of respect and obligation to our troops,” says McGraw. "Being able to reward them for their dedicated work with a new home will be even more rewarding for us. It feels so good to give back to them, and to have the opportunity to entertain them on Memorial Day is something I'm honored to do."

"We are grateful to our servicemembers, veterans and their families for their service and sacrifices,” said Frank Bisignano, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Mortgage Banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co. “We are honored to partner with Tim McGraw and Operation Homefront to award mortgage-free homes. It’s a small way to say thank you to people who have done so much to protect our nation and our freedom.”

On June 2 in Tampa, McGraw will begin what is anticipated to be the biggest stadium tour in country music history. The Brothers of the Sun Tour with Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw will hit the nation's biggest stadiums through August.
