ADAM DOLEAC’S DEBUT ALBUM BARSTOOL WHISKEY WONDERLAND IS OUT NOW

Today, Arista Nashville/Sony Music Nashville rising star Adam Doleac released his debut album, Barstool Whiskey Wonderland.

“I couldn’t be more excited to release my debut album, Barstool Whiskey Wonderland,” Doleac said. “So much hard work and time and LIFE has gone into making it. More than anything, I wanted it to sound like me. I tried to create my own little world, or ‘wonderland’ I should say, and I think I did that. Barstool Whiskey Wonderland is full of my favorite lyrics, titles, and most importantly, my favorite emotions. I hope you listen to it top to bottom, and then I hope you do it again.”

With this project, Adam proves the old adage of Nashville being a 10-year town, as it arrives nearly a decade after moving to Music City from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He made the clock work for him though, and throughout his time in Nashville he has created a whole “Barstool Whiskey Wonderland” of 18 addictive tracks – almost totally from his own pen.

Doleac co-wrote every song on the album aside from his collaboration with Danielle Bradbery, “Fake Love,” which was penned by an all-star lineup made up of HARDY, Ryan Hurd, Maren Morris and Jordan Schmidt.

With the project, Adam unveils a vision steeped in the romantic country soul of his early hits, while going much deeper as well. With tracks like the Gold-certified “Famous” and first-dance favorite “Another,” both of which hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway, fans have gotten only a glimpse of that wonderland so far. With Barstool Whiskey Wonderland, they get the full picture.

Sony Music Nashville announces the signing of singer/songwriter Adam Doleac to the Arista Nashville imprint. Doleac’s “Famous,” which he co-wrote with Andy Skib and Bobby Hamrick, will officially ship to country radio as his first Arista Nashville single on Dec. 16.

A co-writer of songs recorded by such stars as Kane Brown, Darius Rucker, and Hootie and the Blowfish, Adam Doleac has staked his claim as one to watch in Nashville. Dubbed “the hero country needs” by Popdust, he has toured with Carrie Underwood, Chris Young and Kane Brown, among others. Doleac’s music has been described by Rolling Stone as “anchored not only in the trends of Top 40 radio, but also the blue-collar grit of Bob Seger and the bluesy influence of his Mississippi hometown.”

A Hattiesburg, Mississippi native, Doleac became impassioned with music in college. He received a scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi where he not only played baseball, but wrote songs with his teammates and learned to play guitar. After he began playing hometown area gigs, Doleac posted a performance of one of his songs on YouTube which accrued millions of views and the attention of Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

NEW ARTIST VIDEO: "I PUT IT ON YA" - ADAM DOLEAC

Adam Doleac is out with 'I Put It On Ya', the first single off his newest effort. Sirius XM The Highway debuted the music video and the single is currently being played on the On The Horizon playlist. 'I Put It On Ya' was written with his roommate Ben Bradford ("Tequila Makes The World Go Round)".

A parallel can be drawn from the irresistible passion turned lifelong commitment described in the song to Adam's return to playing music. He started out as a toddler banging on the drums and gradually became more serious as he watched his brother excel at piano, drums and guitar. Although he was talented, music always competed with Adams's other love, sports. He played soccer, baseball, basketball, hockey; you name it and his drive and discipline led him to excel at all of them. In high school, he turned his attention to baseball, honing his skills as a first baseman. Adam's talent on the field landed him a baseball scholarship to play for Southern Miss. Several conference championship wins, four regional appearances, and an appearance in the College World Series are testaments to Adam's passion and focus but after college his sights shifted back to music.

Adam put together a band and began playing around Hattiesburg, before eventually moving to Nashville where he began working with accomplished songwriters like Frank Myers, JT Harding, Anthony Smith, and Billy Montana. 'I Put It On Ya' is his first release out of Nashville and showcases his drive. “Music is something I am very passionate about,” Adam admits. “I don’t believe in living a life that is not full of excitement, and most importantly, a life without any real challenges or obstacles. I have always been a person who goes after what he wants, and music is what I want to do. I’m excited for the future and ready to do some amazing things!”
