BILLY FALCON TO MAKE SPECIAL APPEARANCE ON BON JOVI’S 2011 TOUR

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (January 19, 2011)–As Bon Jovi gears up for another stellar year of performing, the band with the No. 1 tour of 2010 has announced that their longtime friend, collaborator and Music City’s own Billy Falcon will appear as the group’s very special guest at the RBC Center in Raleigh, NC on Monday, February 21, 2011. The performance is in conjunction with and commemorates the official release of Falcon’s latest CD, entitled WHEN.*

The connection between Falcon and Bon Jovi is long and wide; Falcon has co-written more than a dozen songs on the last six Bon Jovi albums, including the hit singles “When We Were Beautiful” and “Superman Tonight” from Bon Jovi’s album THE CIRCLE (2009). Alternatively, Jon Bon Jovi and guitarist Richie Sambora lent their songwriting talents to Falcon’s new solo record, WHEN, which will be mutually celebrated during Falcon’s one-night-only opening set at Bon Jovi’s Raleigh concert.

Billy Falcon is not only one of my favorite guys, he was—and is still—one of my favorite songwriters,” said Jon Bon Jovi. “I dare you NOT to be moved by his lyrics. We have collaborated many times, not only for my records, but we have written songs for other artists who have found that special something in the song. Find Billy Falcon’s new album, WHEN. You can thank me later.”

In addition to his considerable songwriting credits with Bon Jovi, Billy Falcon and his daughter, Rose, co-wrote the track “Give In To Me,” which is featured in the new Sony Pictures film Country Strong and performed by Faith Hill on the soundtrack.

Nashville-based Falcon’s latest record, WHEN, features 13 songs that continue his acclaimed legacy; daughter, Rose, laces the project with breathtaking harmonies. The CD is available NOW on iTunes.

Over Falcon’s lengthy career, the singer/songwriter has released a dozen albums, each remaining true to his hallmark of beautifully crafted songs with lyrics that move the listener to laugh, cry, contemplate, remember and hope. He signed his first record contract with a major label at age 18, followed by the critically acclaimed release of 1991’s PRETTY BLUE WORLD which featured the Top 40 hit “Power Windows.” Falcon’s songs have been covered by Stevie Nicks, Cher, Meatloaf and Trace Adkins, among others.
