BRANTLEY GILBERT ANNOUNCES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM, "SO HELP ME GOD"

10-Track Collection Set for Release Thursday, November 10, Including
New Single “Heaven By Then” with Blake Shelton Featuring Vince Gill

Son of the Dirty South Tour Continues Tonight Before the Georgia-Native
Joins Five Finger Death Punch on Co-Headlining Tour

Gilbert Partners with Nine Line Apparel for Exclusive Shirt Design to
Benefit Veterans Through Nine Line Foundation

Multi-Platinum country star Brantley Gilbert is the first to admit he’s meticulous when it comes to writing and releasing new music, tinkering and tweaking things until he feels he’s found the best way to serve the song and the project.

“I’ve always taken a little longer than most artists, especially in this genre, to put an album out and that’s partly to do with me being a perfectionist,” Gilbert prefaces. “But we’ve been looking forward to getting this album out for a long time. I’ve been blessed to sit down with some of the best writers in the country, and I feel like we’ve written some wonderful stuff.”

Armed with a 10-track collection that meets the Georgia-native’s standards, Gilbert announces his long-awaited new album "So Help Me God" via The Valory Music Co., set for digital release Thursday, November 10. Pre-save the album HERE.

“In the past, my albums were almost direct reflections, direct chapters of my life,” shares Gilbert. “Whatever I’d gone through since I wrote the last record would make its way onto the new album. There’s still some of that with "So Help Me God" since I’m a co-writer on all the songs – it’s been three years since the last release and a lot of life lived. But I feel like this album is more of a mixtape of great songs.

“We wanted to put songs that sounded good together, but also songs that covered a wide variety of genre influences,” Gilbert elaborates. “There’s a lot of different songwriting styles on the album. We’re super excited about it, and I can’t wait for BG Nation to hear what we’ve been working on.”

With the release of So Help Me God also comes Gilbert’s newest single headed to Country radio on November 14, “Heaven By Then” with Blake Shelton featuring Vince Gill. Co-written with Brock Berryhill, Michael Hardy, Jake Mitchell, Randy Montana, Hunger Phelps and Taylor Phillips, the album opener highlights a way of life that can often feel like it’s disappearing, as the pace of everyday life continues to speed up.

When they pave all the dirt roads
And John Deeres are dinosaurs
When the last back 40 gets sold
And young boys don’t open doors
When you can’t hunt a white tail
And keep what you reel in
Well, I hope I’m in heaven by then

No, I don’t wanna go today but I don’t wanna live
Down here at a place that thinks that that place don’t exist
There comes a day this country’s somewhere country don’t fit in
Hell, I hope I’m in heaven by then

“We were on a writing retreat in Texas that we do every year, and everybody was out on the porch. I don’t remember who threw a word in here or there and who didn’t, so we ended up with a bunch of writers on ‘Heaven By Then,’” Gilbert notes. “And I love songs like that. It came out of a conversation. A guitar ended up in HARDY’s lap, which is usually a good sign that it’s about to turn into something special. I think we all knew that as it was being written. It came to life that night.

“To have Blake Shelton and Vince Gill on the song meant so much to me. Those two brought so much to the table and gave it a voice I didn’t have. We were all in separate places when we recorded, but it was a cool way for everyone to put their spin on it. They just did what felt natural and sonically you hear that,” he concludes.

As the Son Of The Dirty South Tour with “Son Of The Dirty South” collaborator Jelly Roll continues tonight, Gilbert’s co-headlining tour with Five Finger Death Punch kicks off November 9 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and continues through December 17, wrapping in Las Vegas, Nevada. For tickets and more information, visit BrantleyGilbert.com.

As a longtime supporter and advocate for service men and women, Gilbert continues championing veterans through his latest partnership with Nine Line Apparel for an exclusive shirt design, which will benefit Nine Line Foundation.

Nine Line Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to meeting the financial and specialized needs of severely injured soldiers and their families. In combat, Nine Line is an emergency medevac request and is often the difference between life and death for the most severely wounded soldiers. Since 2013, Nine Line Foundation’s mission has been to serve in a similar manner, offering a lifeline once wounded veterans return stateside.

The exclusive design can be purchased on a t-shirt for $25.99, long sleeve for $29.99 or hoodie for $42.99. For more information, visit NineLineApparel.com.

BRANTLEY GILBERT PREMIERES THE WORST COUNTRY VIDEO OF ALL TIME

Georgia-Native Readies Fans for New Music On the Horizon

Following the release of his latest single “The Worst Country Song of All Time” via The Valory Music Co., multi-Platinum selling country rocker Brantley Gilbert ups the ante with the worst country video of all time, directed by Gilbert and Brian Vaughn, featuring his collaborator on the track HARDY, with a special appearance from Toby Keith. The video premiered exclusively on
Facebook.com with Gilbert joining live ahead of the video’s initial screening.

Starring a rowdy crew of recognizable political figures, including a saxophone-wielding Bill Clinton, the video, like the song, parodies the genre with an elaborate approach, featuring electric cars and minivans along with some questionable fashion choices, proving Gilbert and his co-writer know how to poke fun at themselves while also spotlighting all they love about the format.

“I honestly never thought we’d get this far with this song,” chuckles Gilbert. “It really started as a goofy idea that we were having fun with, and we’ve been glad to bring a laugh to folks this summer after such a rough year. We can’t wait for BG Nation to see what else we have in store later this year.”

Released earlier this summer, Entertainment Tonight calls “The Worst Country Song of All Time” “tongue-in-cheek,” while Barstool Sports praises it as a “rambunctious, boot-stomping good time.” Billboard shares that the song is “a sendup of every other stereotypical one, slagging the lifestyle linchpins in the genre…and celebrating the stuff that country’s songs typically try to escape.”

“If you take it seriously enough to criticize it,” Gilbert shared with Billboard, “you're missing the whole point.”

With three No. 1 albums and seven No. 1 singles, Gilbert has been writing and recording during his time off from the road, readying his fans for more new music later this year.

“We’ve had a lot of great writes over the last few months,” Gilbert says. “We got outside of our box a little bit. As artists and writers, we have a group of people that we’re extremely comfortable writing with, that we know we’re going to be productive with and we know what kind of song we’re going write. But we branched out a little bit and wrote with some folks we haven’t written with before, just to see what would happen and what would come out of it.

“I have to say, I’m extremely proud of what we got on the way,” he concludes.

“The Worst Country Song Of All Time” is the first taste of new music following the release of Fire & Brimstone (Deluxe Edition), an extended version of his fifth studio album which explores love and family, redemption and life in a small town, with all 17 tracks written or co-written by Gilbert. Lead single “What Happens In A Small Town” featuring Lindsay Ell marked his fifth No. 1 as an artist, seventh No. 1 as a songwriter and earned nominations for the 2019 CMA Award for Musical Event of the Year and 2020 ACM Award for Music Event of the Year.

Earlier this year, Gilbert held his inaugural trail ride with partners including Polaris, Gander Outdoors, Camping World, Brimstone® Recreation, Traeger Grills, Whiskey Jam and Appalachia Made Co., raising $75,000 to benefit ACM Lifting Lives COVID-19 Response Fund to support those in the entertainment industry who lost work due to the pandemic.

Gilbert continues to raise funds for the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music with the “Garage-full of Awesome Giveaway.” Fans who donate $10 or more will be entered to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to meet Gilbert in person for a trail-riding adventure; a RZR Trail S 1000 Ultimate in Ghost Gray, courtesy of Polaris; 2021 Heartland Fuel 362, courtesy of Camping World; and $5,000 cash. With his new album Fire & Brimstone hot off The Valory Music Co. presses, Georgia boy and modern-day outlaw Brantley Gilbert heads to New York today for multiple media appearances and performances. Tonight at 7 PM, Gilbert kicks off the week with the “iHeartCountry Album Release Party with Brantley Gilbert,” an exclusive performance and Q&A at the iHeartRadio Theater NY.  Fans can tune into a 60-minute live video stream on LiveXLive. The event will also broadcast live on iHeartMedia’s Mainstream Country radio stations at 7pm local time.

Tomorrow (10/8), Gilbert will appear for an early morning performance on Fox & Friends. Tune in to see Gilbert performing the new BG Nation anthem “Fire’t Up” in the 8 a.m. hour (simulcast in all timezones).

Gilbert celebrated the release of Fire & Brimstone on October 4 with the men and women on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Gilbert spent the day touring the base and meeting different units while learning about all they do for our country. Saying thank you the best way he knows how – Gilbert capped off the evening with a free concert with the USO for service members and their families at the WPAFB theater with an hour-plus long performance kicking off with “Kick It In The Sticks,” “What Happens In A Small Town” and ending with “Bottoms Up.”

Watch/share the live stream of the concert here.

His first release in nearly three years delivers Gilbert’s take on love, family, redemption and life in a small town. Like his previous four albums, all 15 tracks on Fire & Brimstone are either written or co-written by Gilbert.

Then on October 9, Nashville’s Lower Broadway crowd can throw down with Gilbert as he headlines on the Birthday Bash stage and helps the world-famous honky-tonk Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge celebrate its 59th Anniversary Birthday Bash. The free block party includes special guests Randy Houser, Lee Brice, Jon Pardi, Darryl Worley, Terri Clark, Montgomery Gentry, Payton Smith and more.

SINGLE REVIEW: "STONE COLD SOBER" - BRANTLEY GILBERT

SINGLE: "Stone Cold Sober"
ARTIST: Brantley Gilbert
REVIEWER: Maria Talamo
Follow Maria on Twitter at @Maria_Talamo

Georgia native Brantley Gilbert somehow manages to get better with every single he comes out with and his newest one “Stone Cold Sober” is no exception to that. Artists are always talking about how they like to write songs about things that they have gone through or experienced in their lives and that is something Brantley has definitely perfected. For those who don’t know, Gilbert was in a near fatal car accident when he was nineteen after drinking and driving. The accident led him to pursue his dreams in music, but, the more popular he became the more he would drink.  He decided to get help in December of 2011 and has been “Stone Cold Sober” ever since. The inspiration behind this song came from a drunk dial he made to his now-wife Amber. During the chorus he sings “I let the whiskey talk/ and baby it said too much/ I got the feeling now/ It didn’t say enough…” Throughout the song you can hear the raw emotion and his realization that what he said actually ended up being true.

If you haven’t heard this song yet then I’m not sure what you’re waiting for! “Stone Cold Sober” hits radio August 31 and it's one you won’t want to miss.

THE NON-PROFIT, TASK FORCE DAGGER FOUNDATION, WILL USE $25,000 DONATION FROM ACM LIFTING LIVES® TO PROVIDE IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE TO WOUNDED VETERANS

Foundation Was Gifted Check Donation at Taping for ACM Presents: Superstar Duets; Special Premieres TONIGHT at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS Television Network

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 15, 2015) – Tonight, Friday, May 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on the CBS Television Network, ACM Presents: Superstar Duets two-hour special will bring some of country music’s brightest stars together on-stage for never-before-seen duet performances – the product of a two-day live event taping in Arlington, Texas leading up to the 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. But what a lot of viewers don’t know, is that ticket proceeds from the live event went to support a great cause: ACM Lifting Lives®, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music®, and military philanthropies.

One of those military institutions was the 501(c)(3) non-profit, Task Force Dagger Foundation, which was presented a $25,000 check donation on stage at the April 18 taping in Arlington, Texas by country music star Brantley Gilbert and Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Task Force Dagger Foundation’s managing director, Keith David, (pictured, center) and Chuck Yerry (pictured, right) were on hand to accept the generous donation on the foundation’s behalf.

Board members of Task Force Dagger Foundation say they will use the contribution from ACM Lifting Lives® to fuel their primary mission and provide immediate financial assistance to wounded and ill soldiers and their families, as well as the families of fallen soldiers of The United States Army Special Operations Command.

“Task Force Dagger Foundation is very judicious in how we disburse our funds and we are working very diligently to ensure that where the money will go is where it is supposed to go: to soldiers and their families,” said Keith David. “We are honored and humbled by this generous gift from ACM Lifting Lives® and we look forward to witnessing improvement in the lives of those brave and heroic soldiers who've served our country as a result."

Operating since 2009, Task Force Dagger Foundation assists U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) soldiers and their families when a valid need is identified – either through the unit command, or through the SOCOM Care Coalition – with outreach programs and services classified in areas such as ‘immediate needs,’ ‘SOF Health Awareness,’ and ‘Recreational Therapy Events.’

Hannah Martin, manager of ACM Lifting Lives® said, “"ACM Lifting Lives® is proud to support Task Force Dagger Foundation as one of our military beneficiaries this year. We hope this donation makes a difference in the lives of wounded veterans that receive immediate assistance through the good work of this foundation.”

This isn't the first time Task Force Dagger Foundation has seen support from the country music community. The Journey Home Project, another non-profit organization deeply rooted in the country music industry, with country legend Charlie Daniels as its Chairman of The Board, and Daniels’ long-time manager, David Corlew as its co-founder, has been one of the biggest supporters of the mission of the Task Force Dagger Foundation.

“The Journey Home Project was founded to seek out and assist those veterans organizations that do the most good by matching them with donors,” said Daniels. “The Task Force Dagger Foundation is without a doubt, one of those worthy organizations that truly makes a difference in the lives of veterans.”

TIM MCGRAW ACCELERATES INTO 2013 WITH THE 30 CITY "TWO LANES OF FREEDOM" TOUR

McGraw Launches First-Ever "Fanticipation" Program With Tumblr In Each Market
Debut Big Machine Records Album "Two Lanes Of Freedom" Set For Release On Feb 5

Country Music icon Tim McGraw announced today that his TWO LANES OF FREEDOM 2013 TOUR, presented by Pennzoil, will crank up this summer in Birmingham, AL on May 2 and continue on to 30 cities through July.   The U.S. trek, will also feature emerging artists Brantley Gilbert and Love and Theft.

McGraw has partnered with Tumblr to create the "Fanticipation" program which will allow fans, for the first time ever, to announce through Tumblr when tickets will be available in their own hometown.   Beginning in early February, McGraw will call a fan in each market who is selected to participate in "Fanticipation" and personally tip them off, so they can share the information with their friends and other McGraw fans first.   For more information on "Fanticipation," click here: http://timmcgraw.tumblr.com/.

After more than two decades on the road, McGraw's ability to entertain and command a crowd continues to be a defining characteristic of both his artistry and superstar status.   Earlier this year the Tampa Tribune described McGraw's live show as "effortless" while the Atlanta Journal Constitution remarked "he's so casually cool onstage" and OC Weekly said "It's a bold claim, but McGraw could and should be poised to reign as king of country music..."

"This album marks a new sense of excitement and artistic freedom for me, and I really wanted to extend that same feeling to the tour and create a cool vibe for the fans," explains McGraw.  "Let's leave anything that might be weighing us down out in the parking lot and spend a few hours together feeling alive and free.  We've started working up new songs from the album, and there's some really cool stuff we'll be able to pull out this summer. My band is just kick-ass...there's nothing these guys can't play!  We'll be counting the days til Birmingham!"

Brantley Gilbert has already earned a striking set of "notches" on his industry belt, including four No. one singles and impressive album sales of over 1 million.  Rising duo Love and Theft celebrated their first No. one song "Angel Eyes" last year from their self-titled album.

For Tim McGraw and Pennzoil, cars represent freedom, which is why both have teamed up for the second year to celebrate the love of music and cars.

About the ACM New Artist of the Year Nominees:

Brantley Gilbert

At the age of 27, Brantley Gilbert already has an impressive list of industry accolades. The deluxe version of the rising star's sophomore album, Halfway to Heaven Deluxe, debuted at #2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart in September 2011. Collectively, the standard and deluxe versions of Halfway to Heaven have already sold almost 500,000 albums to date. Brantley’s first single on The Valory Music Co., “Country Must Be Country Wide,” recently scored the #1 spot at Country radio. As a celebrated songwriter, Gilbert also penned three #1 hits – “My Kinda Party,” “Dirt Road Anthem,” and most recently, “Country Must Be Country Wide.” In addition to playing his own headlining dates, Gilbert is currently on the road with Eric Church for his The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour. For tour dates and more on Brantley visit: www.facebook.com/BrantleyGilbertMusic.

Hunter Hayes

Hunter Hayes is the only 2011 debut artist to play every instrument, write/co-write every song and co-produce his critically acclaimed self-titled debut album. This multi-instrumentalist garnered praise with recent national television appearances on CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman, Good Morning America and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Billboard calls Hunter “a prodigious talent…drawing on modern pop and country sounds – including Keith Urban, John Mayer, Rascal Flatts and Jason Mraz.” USA Today raves “if this Louisiana singer is as good as this single [Storm Warning], he’s about to be a big country star.” He has co-written songs for Rascal Flatts and Montgomery Gentry and has shared the stage with Trace Adkins, Lady Antebellum, Hank Williams, Jr., Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift and more. Hunter is currently on his first headlining Most Wanted Tour with sold out dates across the country.

Scotty McCreery

Scotty McCreery's debut album, Clear As Day, was certified platinum in just three months, and he was recently named No. 1 on Billboard magazine's list of Top New Country Artists for 2011. Clear As Day debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and Top Country Albums charts, making him the youngest man in history to open at the top of the all-genre chart with a debut release. It garnered the highest sales of any country solo album released last year and held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart for six weeks. The album's first single, I Love You This Big, has been certified gold, and his current single, The Trouble With Girls, is approaching gold status. He is currently touring as part of Brad Paisley's Virtual Reality Tour 2012 presented by Chevrolet.

FINALLY! ERIC CHURCH ANNOUNCES 2012 HEADLINING TOUR

ERIC CHURCH-THE BLOOD, SWEAT & BEERS TOUR

Eric is hitting the road and will be performing over 50 dates through May 2010 with special guest, Brantley Gilbert.

Don’t be surprised if “Parental Discretion Advised” appears on the ticket when Eric Church brings his newly announced The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour to over 50 cities in 2012. The St. Petersburg Times recalls his last performance in their town noting Church “made the rowdiest yawp, and drew the most toked-up fans.” With word of mouth long fueling Church’s sweat-soaked, sold-out crowds, Church surprised Music Row naysayers earlier this year when his third release, CHIEF, topped the Billboard charts with over 145,000 albums sold in its first week—a true testament to the years of hard work by Church and his band on the road. CHIEF has since been certified Gold and produced the Top 15 “Homeboy” as well as current Top 15 and climbing single, “Drink In My Hand,” on which Church’s live show serves as the backdrop for the music video counterpart.

No other up-and-coming artist is quite as suitable for the raucous Church crowd as Big Machine Label Group's Brantley Gilbert. Gilbert, who has experienced recent radio success with his current No. 1 hit, “Country Must Be Country Wide,” has been building his fan base on the outskirts of “polished” country for years in the southeast. Similar to Church, Gilbert brings grit and attitude to the stage – and he should fit in just fine with the theme of The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour.

Church announced the tour earlier today on EricChurch.com to his Church Choir members exclusively, and beginning on January 19, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR, Church will kick off the 50+ dates nationwide with stops stretching from New York, NY to Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL and Nashville, TN.

“We have been building our entire career for this tour. It is truly the culmination of a lot of blood, sweat and beer that has brought us to this point in our career," says Church. "I have always trusted our fans to deliver with their dedication and passion, they have always exceeded my expectations. I have never been more excited to begin a tour than this one. The band and I are committed to emptying the tank every night and delivering the best show we can."
