BELLAMY BROTHERS TEAM WITH SUSAN G. KOMEN FOR #LETYOURLOVEFLOW CAMPAIGN

Legendary Country Duo Partners with World’s Largest Breast Cancer Organization,
Susan G. Komen, for National Campaign

For Each iTunes Download of New 40 Years Album, Duo will Donate $1 to Susan G. Komen

Nashville, Tenn. (July 7, 2015) - Country music’s legendary duo the Bellamy Brothers has teamed with Susan G. Komen® to let their love flow for people facing breast cancer, with a new music video and campaign to benefit Komen.

Today the brothers announced that from now through December 31, 2016 they will donate $1 of every U.S. iTunes download of their new 40 Years album to Susan G. Komen to help fund breast cancer research, education and community outreach programs.  Download the album HERE.

“We’ve had so many people in our lives who have been affected by this terrible disease,” says David Bellamy.  “Howard and I are very happy to announce this national campaign with Komen. We hope the money raised will go a long way to help those out there who are fighting for their lives.”

In an additional show of support for the national campaign, the brothers gathered last month in Texas with 60 breast cancer survivors to shoot a #LetYourLoveFlow music video.

The brothers are urging fans to use the hashtag #LetYourLoveFlow to help spread the word about the campaign.

“‘Let Your Love Flow’ has always been one of those songs that just makes people feel good,” adds Howard Bellamy.  “We had a lot of fun with those ladies at the video shoot.  They were all having a great time and singing along to every word.  They’re all survivors, so they’ve got all the reason in the world to let their love flow.  We hope you’ll share this video using the hashtag #LetYourLoveFlow to help us spread the message."

The brothers have also crafted a new #LetYourLoveFlow t-shirt that will be sold at all live shows. For each shirt sold, $17.00 will be donated to Komen.

To make an additional donation to the Susan G. Komen #LetYourLoveFlow campaign, go HERE.  To learn more about the partnership, visit www.komen.org/bellamybrothers.

PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (July 31, 2014) - - Athena® bottled water was created for the cause® in 2003 by a breast cancer survivor who had one purpose:  to win the war against breast cancer. Since then, the bottled water brand has donated $2 million to prestigious organizations to support breast cancer awareness, care, education, and research. Purchased by DS Services of America, Inc. (DS Services) in 2010, the Athena brand has enlisted musical superstars Amy Grant and Kellie Pickler to help the cause by naming them Athena® Warriors – Grant in 2012 and Pickler earlier this year.

As Athena® Warriors, Grant and Pickler will both perform at a private, invitation-only “Eat. Drink. Party Pink.” event in Nashville, Tenn. on Sept. 30, 2014 to kick off October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During the festivities, Grant will debut a new song, “Welcome Yourself.”  The next day (Oct. 1), that song will be available for sale on iTunes with proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society.

“We are excited to gather in Nashville to hear a great night of music from our Athena® Warriors,” said Tom Harrington, President and CEO, DS Services. “What a great way to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We are honored that Amy is debuting her song at our event that night, and are so appreciative that she is donating proceeds from its sale to the American Cancer Society.”

“Music can be a lifeline for people,” said Grant. “Hearing the right words at the right time can be a powerful and encouraging experience and I hope this song is helpful to many. I am happy to serve as an Athena® Warrior again this year and donate proceeds from this song to the American Cancer Society. We all know someone who has suffered from this terrible disease, and I encourage everyone to do what they can to help raise awareness and funds for research.”

“Breast cancer really hit close to home for me when my "big sis," Summer, was diagnosed at such an early age,” said Pickler. “I’m happy to say she is now cancer-free. But, so many other women continue to have to fight this disease and even more may not know they need to be aware of earlier detection than previously thought. That’s why I’m excited to be an Athena® Warrior...I want to help raise awareness so we can find a cure.”

PAM TILLIS & LORRIE MORGAN "GO PINK" WITH NEW SINGLE "I AM A WOMAN"

Girl Power Duo Releases “I Am A Woman” As Appropriate Fit In Alignment With National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 17, 2013)—Red River Entertainment recording artists, Grits & Glamour (Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan), the royal women of country, celebrate the revealing and poignant sophomoric single release “I Am A Woman” (ON RADIO NOW) from their critically acclaimed collaborative album entitled DOS DIVAS.

Co-written by Grits & Glamour band member, and close personal friend, Mary Sue England alongside hit writer Thom Shephard, “I Am A Woman” is a true-to-life heart song that paints the perfect picture of the “every day woman” as an anthem of strength, endurance and resilience for women of all ages and all walks of life.

I'M A WARM HEART WITH COLD FEET

I'M A MONA LISA SMILE / AND THE TEARS YOU'LL NEVER SEE

I'M A PROMISE AND I'M A PRAYER

I AM FAITH / I AM HOPE / I'M THIS PINK RIBBON THAT I WEAR

AND I AM BRAVE / NO MATTER WHAT YOU TAKE AWAY

I AM A WOMAN

In early celebration, and in sporting style, the Tennessee Titans welcomed Grits & Glamour to perform “I Am A Woman” in recognition of breast cancer awareness month (on Sunday, October 6, 2013//Titans vs. the Chiefs) where the Titans cheerleaders invited cancer survivors onto the football field during the pregame presentation. Continuing their mutual initiative to share their heartfelt support of women who have become tragically touched by the unforgiving hands of breast cancer, the Opry stars will perform at the 5th Annual Opry Goes Pink Show as The Grand Ole Opry® joins Women Rock For The Cure™ in the fight against breast cancer on Tuesday evening, October 22. In the company of LeAnn Rimes, Amy Grant, Mandisa (who is making her Opry debut) and others, Morgan and Tillis will appear before the signature barn backdrop which will be spotlighted pink for the night in recognition of survivors and fighters of cancer.

“We have no words to express our personal honor and privilege to be included in this event—to step onto the historic Opry stage on such an important occasion to perform such a powerful song—empowering women (daughters, mothers and grandmothers),” says Pam Tillis. “When we heard ‘I Am A Woman’ for the first time, Pam and I knew it had to be on our new album; it’s one of those songs that captures life moments and the unspoken sentiment and emotions shared by every female—simple or complex. We are pleased to be part of this extraordinary affair, to speak on behalf of others who cannot and add volume to those who can,” adds Lorrie Morgan.

The vibrant Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis are trendsetters with identifiable voices of their own in the country music industry both as solo and duo recording artists. Award-winning entertainers, the ladies have 28 top ten hits between them, have enjoyed more than 18 million records sold worldwide and scored 12 number one hits combined. Road warriors who exude compelling strength and determination, Tillis and Morgan continue to support the momentum of their debut Grits & Glamour album DOS DIVAS (released July 23, 2013/distributed by Sony Red) as part of their Grits & Glamour Tour canvassing the country from east to west and are committed to carry on their own independent breast cancer awareness campaign in conjunction with the new single release.

(Nashville, Tennessee...) - Superstar singer/songwriter Martina McBride and her nationwide volunteer group, Team Martina, recently awarded the "Martina McBride Breast Cancer Research Grant" in the amount of $40,550.00 to Nashville's Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center, it was announced this week. The grant was given through T.J. Martell Foundation, the music industry's largest charity that funds leukemia, cancer, and AIDS research.

The funds will be used to assist triple negative breast cancer research at Vanderbilt. Team Martina member Taira Baughman lost her battle this year with this same type of breast cancer. She appeared in Martina's video for the song "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" in 2011.

"I am so proud of this amazing team of volunteers," said Martina. "They are truly making the world a better place with their fundraising efforts and I'm honored they are doing it in my name. We give this grant in honor of our friend and team mate Taira Baughman who was an inspiration to so many. She dedicated her life to her family and to helping others and this grant will undoubtedly touch the lives of countless women."

OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH AND TEXAS ARTIST KYLE PARK IS DOING HIS PART

Austin, TX (October 23, 2012) - Rising Texas country artist Kyle Park is supporting breast cancer awareness month by wearing a pink shirt onstage at every show for the entire month of October. Starting today, fans can pick up their t-shirts at any Kyle Park show or they can be purchased from his website for $20. All  proceeds raised will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation Austin Affiliate and Women Rock For The Cure.

To purchase a shirt please visit, www.kylepark.com

To watch Kyle Park's Breast Cancer Awareness video, click HERE

Park is anything but new to the Texas music scene. His debut album was released in 2005 and since then, Park has not slowed down. Using unconventional methods, Park decided to release two EPs in 2010 and allowed fans to choose songs for the following album, Make Me Or Break Me, which was released in 2011. With the title track as the single, it earned Park a No. 3 spot on the Texas Music Chart and the song stayed in the Top 10 for over six weeks. As with any Top 10 song, a top-notch live show is a must. It’s no coincidence Park has developed an audience big enough that his name is now on the back wall at Billy Bob’s Texas, right alongside Pat Green, Blake Shelton, Alabama, Brad Paisley and Tim McGraw.

Keep up with Kyle Park at www.kylepark.com, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/kyleparkmusic or follow him on Twitter @Kyle_Park
