CAM SURPRISES ICONIC WILLIAMS FAMILY UP-AND-COMER SAM WILLIAMS, INVITES HIM TO MAKE OPRY DEBUT

Grandson of Hank Williams and Son of Hank Williams Junior to Make Opry Debut October 9

Country superstar Cam surprised singer/songwriter Sam Williams at the final stop on her OH, THE PLACES WE'LL GO! European tour Saturday night (9/14), inviting the son of Hank Williams Jr. and grandson of Hank Williams Sr. to make his Grand Ole Opry debut in front of a sold-out crowd at Berlin’s Huxley's Neue Welt.

“The moment Cam asked me, I was too focused on our last night singing together and it almost didn’t even register in my brain,” Williams told Wide Open Country of the surprise invite. “After singing ‘Jolene,’ I came off stage and balled like a baby. I pressed an emergency exit button side stage, frantically trying to FaceTime everyone I knew. This happening is truly historic and I am so excited.”

Williams recently released his latest single "Weatherman" (9/6) - an “electrifying cover” (Sounds Like Nashville) of his father’s 1981 hit. The tune has already been added to Apple Music's Breaking Country and Country Roads playlists, Amazon's Fresh Folk & Americana playlist, Spotify's New Music Nashville playlist and Pandora’s New Americana Now and This Year In Americana playlists.

He recently returned to the U.S. after a successful run opening for Cam at all eight stops of her OH, THE PLACES WE’LL GO! European tour, which kicked off September 1 with a show at Belfast, Ireland’s Empire Music Hall and included performances in London, Sheffield, England, Manchester, U.K., Amsterdam, Netherlands, Paris, France and Hamburg, Germany.

He released previous single, "Gemini" on June 21 - the last day of Gemini season. Praised by many for his voice "exuding equal parts power and grace" (Rolling Stone) that seems to "rise from another spiritual plane," (Sounds Like Nashville) the CMT "Must-See Indie You Need To Know" is poised to leave his own legacy on country music, unafraid to push his own creative limits and break through the self-inflicted limitations that threaten the genre as a whole.

Gemini’s are known for keeping others on their toes. Just like his father, Hank Williams, Jr., Blake Shelton, Prince, Paul McCartney, Boy George and more, the charismatic acts excel at almost anything they put their minds to. Inspired by “the new Nashville” with artists like Margo Price, Tyler Childers, Ruston Kelly and more blurring genre lines, Williams feels it’s his time to share the art he’s been crafting in the studio. Influenced by artists from Billie Eilish to Dolly Parton, his sister Holly Williams to Drake, it’s easy to see why so many have been keeping an eye on him in anticipation of what’s to come.

SPRINGER MOUNTAIN FARMS & SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE RELEASE SECOND EPISODE OF CONTENT FEATURING CAM

Springer Mountain Farms Brings Cam & Holly Gleason Together

Conversation on Candor, Emotions & A Woman’s Place in Country Music

She is one of country music’s most talked about and revealing songwriters, with a Grammy nomination for “Burning House.” The other is the editor of Woman Walk The Line: How The Women of Country Music Changed Our Lives, an anthology of personal essays from 27 women on the female country artist who changed their life. But it took Springer Mountain Farms to bring Cam and noted music critic Holly Gleason together for a revealing conversation inspired by the book – and Cam’s “Diane,” the post-cheating apology single from one woman-to-another.

Over a personally-prepared meal of roast chicken at Oak Restaurant, the two women met to discuss the power of songs, truth and “a woman’s place in country music.” Getting to eavesdrop on their tete-a-tete is no longer a possibility, but a video from their lunch has been edited into an episode of Springer Mountain Farm’s ongoing original content series in partnership with Sony Music Nashville.

“Cam is one of the most provocative female voices in our genre today,” says Gleason, whose anthology has graced The New York Times Book Review, The Washington Post, PEOPLE, PASTE, Oxford American and No Depression’s Ten Best Music Books of 2017. “Having just edited some of the nation’s best women writers, all pulling an artist’s music that changed their world through the way they live, talking to Cam was an absolute pleasure. A songwriter’s songwriter, she submerges real life, complicated emotions and difficult situations in her songs.”

The two women share thoughts on the power of music, the way it helps say what often goes unsaid – and confront the awkward in ways that set us free. With a special focus on Dolly Parton’s own ability to capture those jagged moments, Cam and Gleason explore the way the women in country get a special kind of honest. They also talk about “Diane,” Cam’s current single, in which the other woman seeks out the wife to offer clarity, apology and healing.

“In real life, this doesn’t happen very often,” Cam explains. “But the opportunity for the singer to apologize, and explain she didn’t know, is powerful – and important.”

Creating these sorts of intersections – and provide the kind of conversations that most media opportunities don’t allow for – was the driving force behind this innovative series. Not quite a profile, not really a feel good behind the scenes feature, Chikn & Pickin’ goes a little deeper.

“Springer Mountain Farms understands the organic place that food and bringing people together has in changing the conversation,” says Sony EVP of New Business & Marketing John Zarling. “In looking for new ways to show how our artists and their music are impacting the world around them, the Chick’n & Picking Series has taken us from Tyler Farr and hot chicken to Cam at the elegant Oak Steakhouse. But more than just an artist and their music, it’s a sense of why their music matters in a real life context that emerges... and that’s invaluable.”

GRAMMY NOMINEE CAM TOPS OFF 2015 WITH A #1 SONG AND THE YEAR'S BEST FIRST WEEK ALBUM SALES BY A DEBUT COUNTRY ARTIST

Platinum-Certified “Burning House” Hits #1 at Country Radio as Cam’s Untamed Album Debuts at #2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart!

Cam’s Music Cited among the Best of 2015 by The Washington Post, AP, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone Country, and more!

Grammy nominee singer/songwriter Cam vaults to #1 at country radio this week with her smash single, “Burning House,” as her major-label debut album, Untamed, explodes onto Billboard’s Top Country Albums sales chart at #2.  Cam achieves 2015’s best first-week album sales by a debut country artist, with sales of 37,000, according to Nielsen Music.

Untamed also debuts at #12 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, with 45,000 units in album activity based on the chart’s multi-metric sales and streaming methodology.

Cited among the year’s best country albums by Rolling Stone Country, The Washington Post, Brooklyn Magazine, and Renowned for Sound, Untamed has earned critical acclaim from Entertainment Weekly, the Associated Press, and many more.

Untamed “mingles roots and radio appeal,” hails The New York Times, while AllMusic lauds Untamed as “prime commercial country: it’s crisp, open-hearted, and friendly, fresh in its presentation and classical in its construction.”

Roughstock writes, “The album is an eleven track cornucopia of confident rhythms, rhymes and reason and instantly announces a major force in country music is about to blossom before our eyes.”

In an “A” grade review, Nash Country Weekly cheers, “With a catalog of beautifully written tracks and a voice that is simultaneously ethereal and gritty, Cam effortlessly moves from a whisper to a roar.  And we dig it.  A lot.”

The Daily Tribune (Michigan) calls Untamed “both slick and earthy, maybe the smoothest synthesis of country and pop since Taylor Swift,” predicting that Cam’s “Next Big Thing potential couldn’t be more clear.”

Featured on Untamed and ranked #1 on Rolling Stone Country’s “25 Best Country Songs of 2015,” Cam’s “Burning House” has been cited among the year’s best songs on multiple lists, including Entertainment Weekly’s all-genre “40 Best Songs of 2015,” Taste of Country’s “Top 10 Songs of 2015,” and Billboard.com’s “10 Best Country Songs of 2015,” which summed up Cam’s breakthrough smash with the declaration, “a star is born.”

Of the 10 songs chosen by the Associated Press for its “Top Songs of 2015,” “Burning House” is the only country single to make the all-genre list, with AP praising it as “country radio’s most refreshing song.”

With the recent RIAA Platinum certification of “Burning House,” Cam is the only female country artist this year to achieve a Platinum single from a major-label debut album released in 2015.

Fans can be watching for Cam on Christmas night as FOX re-airs American Country Countdown’s Top 10 Stories of 2015, December 25, at 9 PM/ET.

ARTISTS TO WATCH IN 2016 - VOICES THAT ARE GONNA ROCK THE NEW YEAR

Another year of great music comes to a close in a couple of weeks but that means a start to another year of even better music to come. 2015 introduced us to several new artists who took off in a big way and are going to make an even bigger impact on country music in 2016. Here are the names, faces and voices that we think you should keep on your 2016 radar. It's shaping up to be a fantastic new year!

William Michael Morgan  -www.williammichaelmorgan.com
Twitter - @WMMorgan
Facebook - WilliamMichaelMorgan
Instagram - @wmmorganmusic

There's a lot of country tradition under this guy's hat. With a Keith Whitley soul and a voice that immediately brings to mind what country used to be, William Michael Morgan is reminding us what country was meant to be - pure, simple and honest. There's no fluff, no unnecessary excess ... he doesn't need it. What William Michael Morgan portrays is exactly who he is. His debut single, "I Met a Girl" is turning hats everywhere and making people stop to listen. While he may have met a girl, country music is the lucky one because we met one heck of an artist.

Leah Turner - www.leahturner.com
Twitter - @LeahTurnerMusic
Facebook - LeahTurnerMusic
Instagram - @LeahTurnerMusic

Leah Turner dared you to "Take the Keys" on her debut single, now she's taking those keys and opening the door to new beginnings with her new single, "Cowboy's Love". The single's video has been on the CMT Pure 12 Pack for a few weeks now and the single officially comes to iTunes on Friday, 12/18. She's grit and grace, the daughter of a team roper who isn't afraid to wrangle with anyone who tries to change her style. We think she'll be roping in a winner with the new single and you'll be hearing a lot more from Leah in the upcoming year. Leah is a country bad ass, but in a Loretta Lynn "Fist City", "You Ain't Woman Enough" way. Fans need to take country radio to "Fist City" and let them know that she's a "must add."

Mo Pitney - www.mopitney.com
Twitter - @MoPitney
Facebook - MoPitneyOfficial
Instagram - @MoPitney

Mo was another one we named an artist to watch in 2015 and now we add him again to the must watch list for 2016.

If you're a country music fan, I mean a TRIED and TRUE fan of twang, tradition and storytelling, you need to tune into Mo Pitney. Remember the name because Mo is the real deal, the next voice of traditional "sop grandma's homemade biscuits up with some gravy" country music. Trust me, country isn't dead, it's just starting to come back to life with a revival of the likes of new artists like of Mo, Craig Campbell, Sturgill Simpson, Cody Wickline, and William Michael Morgan. These new artists are knocking at country's door and fans are starting to answer the door with an enthusiastic response.

In June 2015, Pitney became the first debuting performer in 14 years to earn a standing ovation at the Grand Ole Opry. The last one was Turner. It could be a while before someone shows the merit to repeat that feat.

He's released several songs this year -  "Country", which was a writing collaboration with country legend "Whisperin" Bill Anderson, the personal and emotional tearjerker "Clean Up on Aisle Five", the upbeat invitation to "Come Do a Little Life" and the flirty and fun "Boy and a Girl Thing." There's nothing that isn't genuine about Mo or his music. We do take a chance on assuming that you're gonna love what you hear and that fans will be making him a voice of 2016.

Cam - www.camcountry.com
Twitter - @CamCountry
Facebook - CamCountry
Instagram - @CamCountry

You've seen her everywhere this year since releasing her debut single, "My Mistake to Make" and it's platinum certified follow up, the hauntingly beautiful "Burning House". Cam has graced many magazines, talk shows, radio shows, and stages in 2015 and hopefully we'll see her accepting her first Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance for "Burning House." Cam has a classic quality in her voice and an infectious attitude that seems to spread throughout a room quite quickly. It's qualities like this that make the difference between a wannabe and a star and Cam is star quality and she's more than proven it in such a short time. With the success of both singles, the "Burning House" video and her recent critically acclaimed CD, "Untamed", as strange as it seems, 2015 was just a beginning for Cam. I think it's safe to say we can expect another banner year for her in 2016.

Chris Stapleton - www.chrisstapleton.com
Twitter - @ChrisStapleton
Facebook - ChrisStapletonOfficial
Instagram - @CAStapleton

We had Chris as one of our artists to watch in 2015 and we weren't kidding. Chris released his then unknown "Traveller" CD which stayed behind the scenes until the ACM Awards where this quiet, unassuming bearded guy in a hat took over the night and surprised the music world by swooping in like a hawk collecting his prey and walked away with 3 of the night's most prestigious awards. While it may have been a shock to those at home, it was in no way a surprise of any kind for any country music industry person or fan in the know that night, we were all cheering and hitting social media with "I Told You About This Guy A Long Time Ago" accolades and congratulations. His performance of the George Jones' classic, "Tennessee Whiskey" with Justin Timberlake was one of the most talked about performances in ages and left a mark where it counts, in the hearts and ears of listeners. His CD sales shot through the roof and radio FINALLY got a clue and started adding his music to their rotations. 2016 is shaping up to bring country back full circle and there is "Nobody to Blame" but Chris Stapleton.

Kasey Tyndall - www.kaseytyndall.com
Twitter - @KaseyTyndall
Facebook - KaseyTyndallMusic
Instagram - @KaseyTyndall

What's that quote by Shakespeare? Though she be but little, she is fierce? Well he obviously had a premonition about Kasey Tyndall. She's a petite little thing but her voice is absolutely fierce and her "get it done" attitude would make Larry the Cable Guy proud. Picked out of tons of video entries, Keith Urban personally chose Kasey to sing a duet with him in Raleigh during his tour stop in August 2014 and her career has been nonstop since then, having moved to Nashville and working with Tennessee East Management (run by Dave Rose of Deep South Entertainment who works with Parmalee, Stryper and other well known artists and Kevin Frazier, local NC venue owner). She's caught the ear of industry professionals, is opening for well known artists as well as performing on her own and released her first single, "Prove Me Wrong" in 2015 with a follow up single on the way. Kasey's a strong one and she's gonna prove them all wrong in 2016!

Morgan Myles - www.morganmyleslive.com
Twitter - @MorganMylesLive
Facebook - MorganMylesLive
Instagram - @MorganMylesLive

Morgan isn't just another blonde in the country crowd because she was born to stand out. With an edge in her voice that reminds one of early Miranda Lambert and a confidence that rivals any top selling country female, Morgan Myles does anything but fit in. With a new EP on the way, "Miss Morgan Myles" is gonna make her mark on 2016. We're really diggin' what Morgan has to offer and after you go to her website and take a listen to "Whiskey Dreaming", I think you'll be right there with us on this one.

Drake White - www.drakewhite.com
Twitter - @DrakeWhite
Facebook - DrakeWhiteMusic
Instagram - @DrakeWhiteStomp

His music just "Feels Good." Really, that's how I'd sum up Drake White. You can't help but move when his music comes on and it really does just give you a good feeling. We've followed Drake for awhile now ever since seeing him open for Montgomery Gentry a few years back in Danville, VA. He's come a long way since then and has performed on the historic Opry stage multiple times. His shows are electric, energizing and over the top fun. His positive attitude and interaction with his fan base makes him a top favorite for 2016.

Chris Janson - www.chrisjanson.com
Twitter - @Jason_Chris
Facebook - ChrisJansonMusic
Instagram - @TheChrisJanson

Chris is another artist who had one hell of a breakout in 2015, but again, that was just the start of what we're gonna see from him in the upcoming year. His independently released single, "Buy Me a Boat" hit the top of the iTunes charts, a relatively unknown feat for an unsigned artist and that set off a fireworks display of major proportions in the industry, leading to a video being funded by CMT, a major label signing with Warner Bros, a re-release of the single to country radio which resulted in his first #1 hit on Mediabase and a platinum certification just this month, multiple appearances on the Opry stage, the release of his debut album and the release of his follow up single "The Power of Positive Drinkin'".  Chris Janson is here to stay and I wouldn't hesistate to say we'll be seeing him at #1 during the next year.

Granger Smith - www.grangersmith.com
Twitter - @GrangerSmith
Facebook - GrangerSmith
Instagram - @GrangerSmith

What can I say other than it's about damn time that the world caught on to Granger's music. They caught onto his alter ego, "Earl Dibbles, Jr." a long time ago. Who would have thought that anyone would attempt the alter ego thing since the whole Garth Brooks/Chris Gaines thing (even though that's one of my favorite albums), but Granger did it and it works. His music works just as well as his sense of humor. His previous CD, "Dirt Road Driveway" released in 2013 was great but just didn't take off but thanks to his new single, "Backroad Song", Granger Smith is back on the highway and headed a new, successful direction. He recently made his Opry debut and you can count on hearing much more from him in 2016.

Maren Morris - www.marenmorris.com
Twitter - @MarenMorris
Facebook - MarenMorris
Instagram - @MarenMorris

At the age of 25, Maren Morris has already established a name for herself in the ultra-competitive Nashville circles with her multi-stylistic vocal influence. Maren signed a publishing deal with Big Yellow Dog Music after winning the 2012 New Music Seminar's "Artist on the Verge" award. Maren's songwriting credits include cuts by Kelly Clarkson and Tim McGraw. Maren has shared the stage with artists such as Gary Allan, Marty Stuart, Radney Foster, Eli Young and others. She recently released her own single, "My Church", which is garnering acclaim on Sirius XM's The Highway and is being picked up by stations nationwide.

Chris Carmack - www.chriscarmackmusic.com
Twitter - @RealCarmack
Facebook - @ChrisCarmackMusic
Instagram - @RealCarmack

Best known as super jock Luke on "The O.C" and for his modeling turns with Abercrombie and Fitch and other well known brands, Chris Carmack has become a well known face and voice around Music City since taking on the role of "Will Lexington", a singer/songwriter struggling not only with his music but with his sexuality, on ABC's "Nashville". This role has made Chris not only a household face, but a household name with his vocal ability. His chiseled features and smoldering good looks are just added bonuses to his musical talent. Chris just released his debut EP, "Pieces of You" to critical acclaim. Entertainment Weekly called the release "Stunning" while Digital Radio compared him to Keith Urban. Chris Carmack's fictitious character may be having a hard time coming to terms with who he is, but the real Chris Carmack has made it clearly known that he knows who he is and has already left his mark on the country music industry.

CAM IS ON THE VERGE AS iHEARTRADIO HELPS IGNITE "BURNING HOUSE"

Nashville, TN – Following the explosive sales success of Arista Nashville singer/songwriter Cam’s song “Burning House” after being featured on iHeartMedia’s nationally syndicated The Bobby Bones Show, the song has not only been chosen as Cam’s new single, but Cam has also been selected as the next iHeartRadio On The Verge Artist.

The six-week program includes on-air exposure as well as significant digital and social support across iHeartMedia’s network of Country radio stations and websites.   The program is based on key tracks and artists that iHeartMedia’s programmers are collectively passionate about and has proven instrumental in the development of such successful and highly credible emerging artists as Sam Hunt and Lee Brice.

The program is set to launch today, also the official airplay impact date for “Burning House.”

Nash Country Weekly is already cheering Cam’s “smoldering vocals” in “Burning House” with an “A” grade review that promises “the tune exposes Cam for what she is—a damn fine talent,” while Roughstock lauds “Burning House” as “a truly remarkable single” and “one of the most beautiful (and simply elegant) singles to hit country radio in 2015.”

Featuring “Burning House” and her recent single “My Mistake,” Cam’s Welcome to Cam Country – EP is available for sale at http://smarturl.it/welcometocamcountry.

Cam’s EP and upcoming full-length album are produced by GRAMMY®-winner Jeff Bhasker (Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, FUN., The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift) and Tyler Johnson (Ed Sheeran, OneRepublic, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Mikky Ekko).

SIX MONTHS ... SIX SONGS

We're already half way through 2015, can you believe it? The year has been full of great music with even more great music to come. Since we're at the mid point of the year, I'd like to point out six songs, released in 2015, that were most played on my iPod and fall into the category of "Damn I Love This Song." They're all great artists and all of the music is available on iTunes. Keep in mind, these are just my personal favorites so they may not necessarily agree with yours, so no, I didn't "leave anyone out". I just decided to narrow it down to six since we're six months away from another year and I threw in one bonus. These are in no particular order, they all rock.

1. "Love Me Like You Mean It" - Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea Ballerini is hardly the "tomato" in country music's "salad" as a certain radio consultant referred to female country artists this week in an interview with Country Aircheck. She's the dressing that tops off the salad and gives boring lettuce that extra oomph. As a matter of fact, Kelsea Ballerini is chock full of oomph and awesome from the top of her blonde head down to the tips of her stillettos.

Her personality is infectious and she's that girl that turns everyone's head when she enters the room because of her great attitude. Love, love, love this girl and love seeing how far she's gone. This song just makes you sing along.

2. "Can't Get Away From a Good Time" - Logan Mize

He may be a simple, blue collar kinda guy, having gone from truck driver to the new guy on the country music block, but there's nothing simple about his songwriting abilities. Logan Mize is impressive with his lyrics and delivery. He's got that killer rasp in his voice that comes naturally, not put on like some artists do. His songs tell a story and the stories they tell come from the life he's lived. He's a likeable guy, very personable and literally the kind of guy you can sit down with as a stranger and leave as a friend.

3. "Clean Up on Aisle Five" - Mo Pitney

Mo, Mo, Mo. Mo Pitney came along at the perfect time, right when country music needed a clean up of it's own. I really can't say enough about him. As a person, he's impressive. As an artist, he's amazing. As someone who can give country back the roots it's strayed from, he's perfect. This song made me cry the first time I heard it and cry even harder each additional time. It resulted in a standing ovation at the Grand Ole Opry. All I can say is thank you Mo.

4. "Country" - Mo Pitney

Get More:

See? I can't say enough about him and I really can't listen to him enough either. I really can't wait until the full length album comes out. Mo defines country and country, in turn, defines Mo Pitney. If you do one thing right this year, buy Mo's music.

5. "Better Than You Left Me" - Mickey Guyton

I love Mickey Guyton. Everything about Mickey and this song is refreshing. Country needs to hear more from this songbird.

6. "On To Something Good" - Ashley Monroe

Another hands in the air, let's give it up for the women that can sing about more than a broken heart and how they can get back at the guy. This song just makes me feel good from the first note to the last, it makes me "seat dance" in the car, and it's very motivational and inspires you to keep on going! Really hope radio latches on to this "something good" song.

7. *BONUS* - "My Mistake" - Cam

Cam is the bomb.com. She's bubbly, she's "in your face" and she can sing her canary yellow wearing butt off. For a debut single, she made one heck of an imprint on country music. How can you not like this girl? Her entire EP is fantastic and man can she sing! Did I mention she can SING?

10 MUST SEE ARTISTS AT #CMAFEST2015

Country fans are getting ready to take over Music City for 4 days next month and most are excited about seeing the big names at LP Field but we're excited for you to experience the newer artists, those you may not be familiar with and see what they have to offer. You may find that you have a new favorite! Here are our choices for 10 of the best new artists you must see at CMA Fest this year (in no particular order.) They've each made a name for themselves this year and are names you'll be hearing long after you get home from CMA Fest.

She's got a contagious smile and an infectious attitude, but this country beauty has the voice and stage presence to make her the total package. With her current debut single, "Love Me Like You Mean It" sitting at #13 on the charts, Kelsea Ballerini is making her way to the top in record time.

Friday, June 12
12:45pm - 1:10pm
Bud Light Stage

You may know Craig as last season's "Comeback Kid" who went on to win NBC's hit series, "The Voice" last season, but Craig's not a new voice on the country block. Having pounded the streets of Nashville for years, he's finally made his way to the attention of Americans everywhere. His debut single, "My Baby's Got a Smile on Her Face" hit #1 right out of the gate, tying Garth Brooks as the only artist to debut at #1 and now his second single, "I"m Still Here" is quickly gaining momentum.

Sunday, June 14
 3:00pm
Chevy Riverfront Stage

This country girl isn't content to sit on the sidelines and watch other females get the attention, she's come out swinging with her singles "Sorry on the Rocks", "Famous" and her latest "I Only Smoke when I Drink". Kelleigh Bannen's made her presence known and has made her mark on country music.

Saturday, June 13
12:05pm - 12:30pm
 Bud Light Stage

Another artist we could go on for days about, Mo Pitney. Mo is the right artist at the right time in country music. Talk about well timed. Right when fans are getting tired of the same old same old, along comes this soft spoken guy with anything but a soft voice. Mo's single "Country", co-written with "Whispering" Bill Anderson has country fans shouting for "Mo Country", not "Bro Country". When a voice can bring an entire room to dead silence and put tears in the eyes of the listener, you know you've heard brilliance. He is the "ePITome" of traditional country from his baseball cap to his cowboy boots. This boy's blood runs thick with tradition and twang.

Tuesday, June 9
 7:00pm
"The Countriest of the Country"
George Jones Museum
This is a ticketed event. Tickets available here.

Thursday, June 11
3:25pm - 3:50pm
Bud Light Stage

Ray Scott is an original to say the least. His voice is deep and sexy, his attitude is brash and in your face and his music is the perfect combination of all of those ingredients. Ray is the guy your mama warned you about, but the artist that's proving that theory wrong because no one's mama could have ever had an imagination this good.

Tuesday, June 9
Storme Warren's Nashville Navy Party at Limelight
This is a ticketed event
Tickets available here

Thursday, June 11
FanJam - 707 18th Ave South in Nashville
This is a ticketed event

 4:00pm - 4:30pm
Gildan Broadway Hard Rock Stage

Friday, June 12

Ray Scott Fan Club Party at the Wildhorse Saloon

Sunday June 14
1:30pm - 2:00pm
AT&T U-verse Showcase Stage

A Thousand Horses hit the scene running with the power of ... well ... a thousand horses. Their current single, "Smoke" is smoldering on the charts in the Top 10 and it's looking like they may just have their first #1 single very soon. Crowds gather quickly to hear these guys in action so you'll want to stake out your spot pretty early!

Thursday, June 11
1:25pm to 1:50pm
Bud Light Stage

How would we describe Brian Davis? Unapologetic, rowdy, drunk on country and ready to put a boot in any crowd's ass. Fresh off the Hell on Wheels tour with country bad boy, Brantley Gilbert, Brian's kicked into full party mode and it doesn't take an invite to his party because everyone is welcome to grab a cold one and pull up a tailgate. Brian has co-written many songs with area artists including Brantley's current hit, "One Hell of an Amen" and that's exactly what fans are saying at the end of a Brian Davis show - amen!

Friday, June 12
2:00pm - 2:30pm
Gildan Broadway Hard Rock Stage

Rick Monroe, the face of the Jagermeister Country Tour for the past few years, has been pushing the Nashville envelope for years just trying to get someone to finally open it and see what a winner he is. This year, that envelope's been opened with his latest CD, "It's a Love Thing" making waves with industry players and his single "Fire's Out" breaking onto the Billboard charts and was even featured on Fox News this morning!

Saturday, June 13
4:00pm to 4:30pm
Belk Park Stage

After years of being an independent artist, releasing his own music and trying to prove himself, his hard work and belief in himself paid off in spades with his indie single, "Buy Me a Boat" hitting #1 on the iTunes country charts and peaking at #7 on the all genres chart, edging out Taylor Swift with the video being financed and produced by CMT and finally signing a record deal with Warner Music Nashville. Chris is a phenomenal songwriter and an energetic, interactive artist who knows how to keep 'em coming to the shows and buying the music.

Saturday, June 13
2:05pm - 2:30pm
Bud Light Stage

Where did this spitfire come from? Cam came out of nowhere and blasted country listeners with her fun, flirty debut single "My Mistake" and now she's everywhere you look. With a bright personality, a unique and one of country music's strongest female voices, we'll be seeing and hearing much more from Cam.

Friday, June 12
2:05pm - 2:30pm
Bud Light Stage

Nashville, TN – Vibrant new Arista Nashville sensation Cam is on the radio now with her debut single, “My Mistake,” and as she prepares to light up California’s Stagecoach Music Festival this Friday, she does so on the high heels of a head-turning weekend in Dallas surrounding the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards.

Cam’s fresh, eye-catching fashion caught the attention of Glamour, whose ACM coverage celebrated her “eclectic and super fun style,” while The Dallas Morning News touted the singer/songwriter’s Friday performance as she “charmed” the audience at the 3rd Annual ACM Party for a Cause Festival, a benefit for ACM Lifting Lives, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music, and multiple military philanthropies.

While her Party for a Cause performance was a success, clad in her signature yellow, Cam laughed about her “Marilyn Monroe moment” on the windy afternoon as she smiled, “It was my mistake to wear a short dress on a windy day!”

Fans can get to know more about the engaging songstress in the “Who’s New” page of the April 27 issue of Country Weekly, on sale now. Cam is also the focus of a feature on Billboard.com and recently earned high praise from Perez Hilton, who cheers, “Say hello to our new fave Cam,” as he says that one of the reasons women make great country music is because “they’re more fearless.”

After playing SXSW last month and last week’s ACM Party for a Cause Festival, Cam will be back in her native California this Friday as she takes the main stage of the sold-out Stagecoach Music Festival.

Cam’s debut single, “My Mistake,” is featured on her four-song digital Welcome to Cam Country – EP, available for sale at http://smarturl.it/welcometocamcountry.

Cam’s EP and upcoming full-length album are produced by GRAMMY®-winner Jeff Bhasker (Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, FUN., The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift) and Tyler Johnson (Ed Sheeran, OneRepublic, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Mikky Ekko).

SINGLE REVIEW: "MY MISTAKE" - CAM

SINGLE: "My Mistake"
ARTIST: Cam
REVIEWER: Alyse Smith
Follow Alyse on Twitter at @ASmith1300

\

Cam’s debut single “My Mistake” is a strange song. No way around it, it’s just simply strange. Full of equal parts of hope and depression in the lyrics with an upbeat poppy sound in the song’s arrangement. The chorus, though of obvious ear-worm quality is probably not what you should listen to after a break-up or any heart-hurt times. The rest of the song however, is exactly what you should listen to during those times. All in a peppy well-sung package as well. From the chorus we have: “Just another heartache in waiting, just another sweet-talking dream that ends in lonely nights.” Which if you’re feeling hopeless or at all aggrieved after your last break-up is probably not what you’re wanting to hear. Then when you listen to the story behind the chorus you get lines like: “This bar’s full of locals, tourists, drunks and we’re all hopeful.” along with “Give us a shot, the world is ours,” thinking of ourselves as “movie stars” and my favorite “Tomorrow’s gonna be long but it’s worth it to feel the spins of alcohol and freedom.” So full of hope, so energizing, so full of resilience and opportunity, this is exactly what you should listen to after a break-up or any just down day. Wrapped into a single package of conflict ending with hope, adventure and the promise of very, very good stories, “My Mistake” is an ultimately uplifting, fun and bizarre song. A smorgasbord full of desolate times and the excitement that comes with a new odyssey or short-lived fling, “My Mistake” will soar up the charts for every drop of its overt talent and oddities present.

Put it on your Friday play list to start the weekend off right, turn it up when it comes on the radio and improves an ordinary day, sing along and make it your anthem because it’s your mistake to make.
