NASHVILLE RECORDING ARTISTS AND MUSIC INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS PAY TRIBUTE TO TINA TURNER

Nashville recording artists and music industry professionals are mourning the passing of two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Tina Turner. Born in Brownsville, Tennessee and raised in nearby Nutbush, she rose from her small town roots to ultimately claim the title of the "Queen of Rock and Roll" and become a global icon.

From her early days as a member of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue in the Sixties, to her comeback and meteoric rise to the top of the charts in the Eighties at age 44, Turner was an unstoppable force of nature. She also wrote three books, acted in numerous films, was the subject of the semi-autobiographical film, What's Love Got to Do with It, and won 12 Grammy Awards in her lifetime.

Nashville recording artists and music industry members pay tribute to her:

“Thinking of the great Tina Turner! The ultimate professional & mentor. She taught us how to dream BIG & to overcome some of life’s BIGGEST obstacles! Rest in Peace
my Queen.“

– Wendy Moten

“Tina Turner’s career is the epitome of determination, endurance & resilience. She had nothing to prove & everything to prove & in the end will be remembered as someone who spoke & lived their truth with dignity & passion. Her legacy will live on through her incredible body of work that will continue to influence generations to come.”

 – Leslie Fram, SVP Music & Talent/CMT

“What a great loss to us all, losing the Queen, the one &only Tina Turner, Anna Mae Bullock. She is a key piece in why we sing.  My mother, & Marriana's grandmother, Stonye Figueroa, was an Ikette for many years. She performed with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue for their electrifying & groundbreaking performance on the Ed Sullivan Show.  She held her hand, danced endless hours with her & has passed on to us the love & discipline Tina gave to her. We are truly grateful for the miles Tina traveled so we all could live our dreams. We love you Tina, now & forever."

– Cheaza Figueroa & Marriana Nevarez of the mother-daughter country duo, HuneyFire

“We so often throw the words icon & legend around. Tina was, in every sense, both.  She was the best example of a performer & a survivor.  The world lost an irreplaceable treasure & will never be the same…”

– Rissi Palmer, artist and host of Color Me Country, Apple Music

"Tina was and will always be the epitome of resilience, strength, courage, style, grace, & pure & raw talent. What she gave to the world through all of her gifts is immeasurable & I will miss her  for all time. No one has and will ever do it like the 'Queen of Rock & Roll' did."

– Kortney Toney, Executive Director, Nashville Music Equality

“Tina Turner always said that the Ikettes represented her & they had to look 'outta sight' whenever they were on stage. She might have added that the Ikettes had to be just as vocally fluid, sexy, & high energy. One tall order. To be an Ikette was to qualify as rock royalty. But there was only one queen. Rest easy, Tina.”

- Alanna Nash, best selling author and journalist

“In the 48 years that I worked as a professional photographer, I’ve shot many of the biggest acts in music, including shooting Tina many times. I first shot her with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue when I was in the tenth grade at Pirates World in Dania, Florida. She was the most electrifying star I had ever seen, then or since. She & The Ikettes were everywhere on stage. What she did was bigger than life. As big of a global star as Jagger, McCartney, or Mohammed Ali, anyone. Plus, she was genuine, sweet, & as cool & kind as can be.”

– Rick Diamond, Rick Diamond Photography

“Anna Mae Bullock was & will always be the undisputed Queen of Rock & Roll. Her strength, power, & beauty have inspired us for as long as we can remember. Thank you, Tina Turner,  for creating the roads when there were none. We are forever grateful.”

– Allen Thompson and Keshia Bailey of the Americana/rock group, LadyCouch

SINGER-SONGWRITER HANNAH BETHEL RELEASES DRIVING UP-TEMPO SINGLE, "GODSPEED, LOS ANGELES"

Singer-songwriter, Hannah Bethel, has released the driving, up-tempo single, “Godspeed, Los Angeles.” The track was premiered earlier this week by The Amp. Listen at this link and find it at your favorite digital retailers.

Early support from editorial and high-profile playlists include Amazon Music / Fresh Folk & Americana, Spotify / New Music Nashville, and CMT Next Women of Country.

“Godspeed, Los Angeles” is the second single from Bethel’s forthcoming EP, ‘Until the Sun Comes Back Around,’ set to release on March 25. Her previous single, “Bad News Baby,” was released in late January and garnered attention from Billboard and The Boot, and added to Americana, country, and folk editorial playlists at Amazon Music, Spotify and Tidal, in addition to CMT Next Women of Country, Ditty TV, and Women of Americana playlists, among dozens of others.

“Godspeed, Los Angeles,” written by Bethel, tells the story of the navigation of relationships and the realization when it’s time to separate yourself from that relationship. “I don’t think there is enough space given for men when their confidence falters, when their road becomes unclear and their dreams change,” Bethel says. “I was trying to date a friend who was so wrapped up in his journey that he didn’t have space for anyone else. And that’s okay. I saw it for what it was, and I decided to let it go, with so much love,” she says of the inspiration behind the single.

“When you get to the great wide open
When the desert meets the sea
I hope you finally find the space to breathe
I hope angels dance around you
And you feel the sweetest peace
We know you can’t have it sleeping next to me

Oh, it’s like you’re wound so tight
You ain’t ever coming undone
But in your darkest night
You can’t ever outrun
The beat of your heart and all your regrets
So I hope you fight to the death for your happiness
Godspeed, oh, Los Angeles”

“Godspeed, Los Angeles” was produced by Tim Craven (The Brethren/Boys Club for Girls) and mixed by GRAMMY Award-winning engineer, Brandon Bell (Brandi Carlile/The Highwomen/Miranda Lambert). The track features Bethel on acoustic guitar and vocals, backed by an all-star band, including Sadler Vaden on electric guitar (Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit/Morgan Wade), Billy Justineau on synth and B3 (Brothers Osborne/Eric
Church), Jabe Beyer on acoustic guitar (Natalie Hemby/Lucie Silvas), Megan Jane on drums (Erin Enderlin/Molly Tuttle), Peter Sternberg on bass (Brothers Osborne), Tim Craven on electric guitar, percussion, programming loops, and Haley Arnott on harmonies and backing vocals.

Bethel has made waves across multiple formats with her emotionally powerful vocals and soul-baring writing style, earning her a first-place win in the Americana category of the 2019 International Songwriting Competition and as a current finalist for “Best Female Vocalist” (all genres) at this year’s Appalachian Arts + Entertainment Awards.

She is also a proud Featured Artist endorsee of Furch, Gretsch and Taylor Guitars.

MATT BAILIE RELEASES POWERFUL NEW BALLAD - "NAKED"

Matt Bailie has released his latest single, “Naked,” the title track from his forthcoming EP. The song is available to stream and purchase at all major digital retailers at this link.

Produced by Michael Wilkes, and written by Bailie, Henri Gates, and Cassie Verhaeghe, the lyrics to the powerful – yet tender – contemporary country ballad read like a heartfelt love letter to Bailie’s muse in a real and vulnerable way that is at the core of Bailie’s artistry. Unlike the provocative title may suggest, “Naked” honors the woman by assuring her that she doesn’t need all the trappings of makeup and glam style to hold his attention and reminds her that she is amazing in the beauty that she possesses naturally.

“Naked is song that I co-wrote with the intention to lift women up; to say that they are not objects,” states Bailie. “God made them beautiful in a pure and amazing way.”

“Girl you're perfect just the way you are
You don’t even know you shine like gold you’re a star
If you could see what I see
You wouldn't judge yourself from a magazine
Or a mirror, you'd see it clearer like me

So get naked
Take it off
I wanna see the way God made ya
Let it fall
You ain't gotta hide behind that wall
And all that makeup, when you wake up
You've got it all
I wouldn't change ya, I'll take it, no need to fake it
So get naked”

“Naked follows the successful release in September of the single and music video for his comeback song “Whiskey Away.” The visually engaging music video was broadcast premiered on The Country Network and digitally premiered by Nashville Noise.

These two singles and upcoming EP open a new chapter for Bailie and his return to the Nashville music scene following his initial success and debut album in 2010, which was marred by a label closure and his subsequent return to his home state of Florida.

“I’m so excited about this phase of my career,” Bailie says from his home in Nashville. “I feel more real and true to my music and my brand than I ever have. I am incredibly grateful for that.”

HANNAH BETHEL RELEASES NEW SINGLE AND LYRIC VIDEO "MEMPHIS"

Stream and purchase "Memphis" Here

Americana/country singer-songwriter Hannah Bethel has released her latest single and lyric video, "Memphis." The video was premiered this week by Americana Highways and can also be viewed on YouTube here

"Memphis" was written by Bethel, her sister Wynter Bethel, and Gabe Burdulis. The single was produced by the team of Brad Hill (Maren Morris/Brothers Osborne) and Lalo Guzman. The psychedelic-inspired lyric video was created by Iris Dutour.

The fun, rocking, mid-tempo opens with a slide guitar wailing over a scratch beatbox groove that sets the stage for Bethel's tale of a couple whose relationship has hit a dull spot and the solution is a spur of the moment idea to break away for a road trip adventure to Memphis.

"Maybe we should go to Memphis

Let's talk about it

Let's get a little bit lost and we'll know when we've found it

We all need a little Graceland

Sunshine and a second chance

Sip some Tennessee whiskey 'til we understand

We've got a love that's endless

Maybe we're just restless

And maybe we should go to Memphis"

As the intensity of the song builds it is layered with B3 organ and a gospel-flavored vocal choir which further adds to its cool Delta vibe. With nods to the soul stylings of Otis Redding, Elvis's Graceland and the Mississippi River, the music track and visual lyrics provide a perfect showcase for Bethel's powerful vocals.

"I recorded 'Memphis' a while back," Bethel says. "I've been holding on to it waiting for the right time to release it. It's a song about getting back into a space of joy and fun, living in the moment and appreciating it. I feel like this is definitely the time for this song."

"Memphis" is the follow up to Bethel's critically acclaimed single and music video, "The House is on Fire," which was strongly embraced by Americana and country outlets, including Ditty TV, CMT, Americana Highways, The Alternate Root and others. The song also won first place in the 2019 Americana category of the International Songwriting Competition.

Bethel is also expanding her creative horizons and debuts her considerable acting skills in the new music video "Wreck Me" by Jamie O'Neal, where she co-stars along with her real-life boyfriend Chris Probasco in the sultry and steamy video which premiered this week on CMT.com. Bethel co-wrote the song with O'Neal and Rachele Lynae.

During the pandemic, Bethel has maintained a busy livestream performance schedule on the social media platforms of American Songwriter, The Boot, Americana Highways, CenterStage Magazine, and Women of Americana, as well as her own online outlets. She was recently featured on on the bill of the Yadaloo Music and Arts Virtual Festival (Arkansas' #1 music festival) alongside Erin Enderlin, Texas Hill, Craig Campbell and many others.

Stay current with Hannah Bethel's livestreams and tour dates on her website and follow and connect with her on social media.

INDEPENDENT ARTIST DOUGLAS RILEY RELEASES SINGLE AND VIDEO “THAT MUDDY WATER”

Independent country artist Douglas Riley has released his latest single and music video, "That Muddy Water." The video premiered yesterday.

"That Muddy Water" was written by and produced by Riley. The music video was directed and produced by Flick Wiltshire.

"'That Muddy Water' is about a struggling artist like me moving away from home and being alone in a big city and realizing it is harder that he thought it was going to be," says Riley. "In the song, I'm lonely in this city I've moved to and I start looking back and reminiscing on the days of my youth, a high school love and happier times."

"By now I can finally see
The only thing that is still clear to me
Is that muddy water, was it all just a dream?
Does it even matter, part of that small town scene
You kissed me on the lips, I have you in my arms
Right there on the front steps of your daddy's farm
Soon as I think I've moved on since then
I close my eyes and I'm knee deep again
In that muddy water."

"I am grateful for the opportunity to share this video so people can get to know me better as a person and as an artist," states Riley

"That Muddy Water" is the second single released from Riley's forthcoming album, 'A Love Like That.' His previous single, "Colorblind," addressed his personal desires for greater understanding, compassion, and the need for racial unity in America.

The single is now available to stream and purchase at all major digital outlets HERE.

INDEPENDENT ARTIST HANNAH BETHEL RELEASES "RHINESTONE RODEO" TO RADIO AS SHE WRAPS FIRST LEG OF NATIONAL TOUR

Demand for Airplay Increases as Bethel Energizes Fanbase with Powerful Concert Performances and Emotionally Charged Music Video

"Hannah Bethel is equal parts vulnerability and strength, which makes her a force to be reckoned with in country music. The seemingly simplistic melody of her new song, 'Rhinestone Rodeo,' only enhances the more complicated and emotional ties that come when pursuing a risky chase, as the storyline suggests. With three female powerhouse writers (Bethel being one) behind the ballad, the slowly disappearing art of eloquently painting a detailed picture reemerges as a must in today's listening world. Not to mention the attraction of Bethel's effortless and easy listening vocals. Look this girl up---she is a game changer!" - Lindsey Sipe, The Country Note

Independent Country/Americana recording star Hannah Bethel releases "Rhinestone Rodeo" to radio today. Increased demand from programmers for the single comes hot on the heels of wrapping the first 16-show leg of her national tour - and as the emotional and heart-tugging music video for "Rhinestone Rodeo' gathers steam at CMT Music and The Country Network.

"Rhinestone Radio" is available to Country and Americana broadcasters at CDX Nashville and fans can listen to the single here.

Critical acclaim and fan reaction for "Rhinestone Rodeo" has been very strong since the music video was recently premiered by both Billboard and CMT Music. Billboard stated "Bethel's ethereal vocals and universal storytelling are at the heart of her new song 'Rhinestone Rodeo,' a tale about chasing her dreams and never giving up." CMT extolled that "Bethel exudes some solid country wisdom made famous by Dolly Parton in her latest release 'Rhinestone Rodeo.' Both believe life is sweeter when you have an attitude of gratitude, and each has a knack for turning adversity into works of art." The Boot named "Rhinestone Rodeo" one of 10 New Songs You Need To Hear and it is included on several playlists, including Spotify's CMT Music and CMT Next Women of Country and on Apple Music CMT Next Women of Country.

"I am so excited and grateful for the way that 'Rhinestone Rodeo' has been received so far," says Bethel. "I am thrilled to be sharing it with my friends at radio!"

Bethel's "Rhinestone Rodeo Tour" has won her rave reviews to date as she has crisscrossed America performing in The Great Smoky Mountains, New York City, Connecticut, Colorado, Kentucky, and multiple concerts in Alaska and in her hometown of Nashville. From solo acoustic performances at glamping destination Under Canvas and New York City's famed Rockwood Music Hall, to full band shows at influential Indie Rock, Americana and Country clubs including The Basement, 3rd & Lindsley and The Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, to Tidball's in Bowling Green (once described by David Fricke in Rolling Stone magazine as the city's "long-running equivalent to CBGB," the New York City music club where groups like the Ramones, Blondie and Talking Heads got their start), and festival shows on the coast of Valdez, Bethel is winning the hearts of fans across multiple genres and varied musical tastes. She also garnered glowing quotes from several talent buyers on the tour that speak volumes about her live performances:

"You can hear her love and desire to perform in each note sang by her soothing but powerful voice. On her first show with us, Hannah joined a lineup that boasted of some the most respected female artists of the Nashville and South Central Kentucky region. She held her own and along with her three-piece band behind her, demanded the crowd's attention instantly. We hope to make the legendary Tidball's a home for Hannah and a gateway to the North for her future tours."
- Brian Jarvis, owner, Tidballs, Bowling Green, KY

"We were pleased to launch our Acoustic Campfire Music Series with Hannah Bethel as our first artist at our Great Smoky Mountains location this summer. Hannah's warm and friendly personality and intimate yet powerful performances strongly connected with our guests."
- May Lilley, VP Marketing for Under Canvas

"Hannah's confidence, exuberance and sheer musicality on stage are indicative of an artist who has put in the time required for her craft. She provides a shining example to those thinking about delving into a career in music. Hannah Bethel is badass."
- Mike Grimes, co-owner, The Basement, The Basement East, Nashville, TN

"Everyone loved Hannah and her band! Her shows were fantastic."
- Laurine Regan, Events & Marketing Coordinator, City of Valdez, Alaska

Between tour dates Bethel also made multiple appearances on WSM 650 AM Radio, and has been featured by The Country Note, Nashville Access, Think Country, NY Country Swag and others.

NATALIE ROSE CRACKS TOP 15 ON TEXAS REGIONAL RADIO REPORT AND RADIO IS LOVING HER

"My South" Single Continues To Climb In Competition For Airplay Against Some Of The Biggest Artists In The TX Music Scene

"Natalie Rose has a voice that spans all ages, with an energy level and a range that surpasses all expectations, this young lady is one to be heard!"
- Rita Ballou, Morning Show Co-Host, KOKE-FM/Austin, TX

Natalie Rose's latest single, "My South," is proving itself against songs from some of the biggest stars in the Texas music scene and radio programmers are quick to express their strong support for her. Currently the only female inside the Top 15 of the Texas Regional Radio Report, Rose is competing alongside Josh Abbott, Wade Bowen, Pat Green and other major artists in a format with few women artists.

In addition to high praise from Ballou, "My South" and Rose also have garnered strong support from other influential radio programmers, including Austin Daniels of KFTX/Corpus Christi, TX who raves: "Natalie Rose's 'My South' has crisp, clear vocals with a fiery finale that is smoking hot! This young lady is someone to watch, and someone your listeners will identify with...she's 'Real,' she's 'Country,' she's 'Texas'... enough said!"

No stranger to the Texas music scene, over the course of 6 singles, Rose has earned the distinction of being one of the top female vocalists in the marketplace, an honor that she has earned by releasing great songs and maintaining a busy touring schedule. "My South" is the sixth single release from Rose since 2014, with each successive song climbing higher on the charts than the previous one. Rose's last single, "Conformity," peaked at #7.

Texas print and Internet media outlets have also recognized Rose's accomplishments. She is currently the cover feature story in the October/November edition of Texas Life Magazine and recently graced the cover of Action Magazine.

Ken Murray, another well-known Texas radio tastemaker who programs KTTX/KWHI/Brenham, TX, sums it up quite well: "Natalie Rose possesses one of the finest voices in Country music and when she sings about 'My South' she hits the nail on the head."

RISING RED DIRT ARTIST JAKE FLINT IMPRESSES AT TEXAS REGIONAL RADIO MUSIC AWARDS

"Upon meeting Jake Flint you know you have met a man with something to say. His story and song, which are one in the same, are presented with a sense of realism that comes as no surprise. He stands confident on the stage and delivers one song after another smoothly with a real voice that comes from a real place. On a stage of what was a "new faces" show, Jake was not as new as the title of the show lended you to think, because his craft is far beyond that point with his skill in writing, singing, and playing proving he is seasoned. His personality and delivery is top notch and very accessible to those in front of him. He turned me from an interested listener to a fan. Jake Flint is a great find."

- Carey Dean, 106.9 The Ranch/Corsicana, TX (Seven-time TRRMA award winner for "Medium Market On-Air Personality of the Year")

Rising Red Dirt music singer/songwriter Jake Flint impressed with his performance on the "Future Faces Show" that was part of the recent annual Texas Regional Radio Music Awards (TRRMA).

The Oklahoma performer took the opportunity of the coveted performance slot to sing two of his original songs, "Whole New Kind Of Blue" and his current single, "Cowtown." He also delivered a powerful interpretation of the Leonard Cohen classic, "Hallelujah." In addition, Flint played lead guitar for the other artists on the bill including Clay Hollis, Tanner Sparks, Jade Marie Patek, Bubba T, Robert Ray, Donice Morace and Kenna Danielle.

"I feel really blessed to have been included in the TRRMA 'Future Faces Show' alongside some phenomenal new artists who became new friends," states Flint. "Many thanks to Jade Marie Patek for inviting me to perform with her at the main awards ceremony and especially to Dave Smith for putting on a top of the line event as always. Can't wait to work hard this year and attend again next year!"

Flint has made strong inroads into the Texas/Red Dirt music scene this year since the release of his debut single that has brought attention to him with significant radio airplay and chart action. That coupled with recent inclusions in The Red Dirt Radio Hour, hosted by Red Dirt pioneers, John Cooper and Brad Piccolo of the Red Dirt Rangers, and his upcoming appearance on the Ranch Roadhouse radio show live from the Rockett Café in Rockett, TX, promise to further cement Flint as a contender destined for greater success.

JAKE FLINT BUSTS OF OF THE CHUTE WITH DEBUT SINGLE "COWTOWN"

Oklahoma Red Dirt artist, Jake Flint, is busting out of the chute with his debut self-penned single, "Cowtown."  The uptempo goodtime tune is about a group of young men who spend the night out on the town having a great time on Saturday night, and closes with a morning-time musical tip of the hat to Merle Haggard. The single was produced by Flint and Mike McClure (Great Divide).

Currently in the midst of a multi-city radio tour that has taken him across Oklahoma and Texas, Flint is beginning to see his efforts pay off as "Cowtown" bubbles under the Top 100 on the Texas Regional Radio Report chart, where it lands this week at #103. No small feat in a competitive market where hundreds of other artists jockey for position.

In addition to the current radio promotion, Flint has recently returned from a trip to Nashville, where he was accompanied by his manager, Brenda Cline of Workhorse 615, and management roster mate, platinum selling songwriter Bernie Nelson, to the 47th Anniversary Songwriter Hall Of Fame Gala. There, Flint was introduced to legendary writers Tim Dubois, Mac McAnally, Jim McBride, and Jerry Salley, along with top-level producers and tastemakers including Harold Shedd, Buddy Canon, Bob Doyle and Judy Harris. Flint also had several successful co-writing sessions while in town.

"Workhorse 615 and our entire team is working diligently to raise awareness about our single that we are very proud of and excited for people to hear. I truly treasure every mile I travel playing shows and visiting radio stations to promote the single. Many thanks to my team and to all the great people I've met on this journey; from radio DJs to venue owners to co-writers and performers and all great folks who come to my shows. You have become my family. Onward and upward!"

SHANE OWENS CELEBRATES TRADITIONAL COUNTRY ROOTS ON "WHERE I'M COMIN' FROM"

New Single Gains Momentum as Pendulum Swings Back to Real Country Roots

"Shane Owens brings it all: vocals, writing, performance, and passion. He has paid his dues, remained committed to traditional country and brings you a song with heart and a story. Songs that will get you through the tough times and enjoy the happy times, and lyrics that will remind you of the threads in life that make you the fabric you are today. He will bless you with his talent and his kindness. To Shane, I gladly pass the baton..." - Randy Travis

Country music traditionalist, Shane Owens, returns to the rural roots of real Country music with his new single, "Where I'm Comin' From," on AmeriMonte Records. With a heartfelt lyric and hook-filled melody, Owens delivers a message with his burnished baritone vocal that cuts through the hometown fabric of blue collar America. The track is available on CDX Vol. 623, the CDX Download center and at Play MPE.

As demonstrated by the events of the recent CMA Awards, today's music fans are hungry for real artists who speak to the struggles and triumphs of the common man and the pendulum is swinging back toward more traditional sounds. Owens, by no means a newcomer to the scene, is well-positioned to become one of the standard bearers leading the charge for the triumphant return the traditional Country music genre.

"Where I'm Comin' From," was Executive produced by Country music icon, Randy Travis, produced by the legendary James Stroud (Chris Young, Clint Black), and mixed by the award-winning Ed Seay (Martine McBride, Collin Raye). "Where I'm Comin' From" is the lead single from Owens' forthcoming full-length album, set for release in early 2016.

Hailing from Samson, AL, Owens has established an impressive following across the Southeast and opened shows for Kenny Chesney, Hank Williams, Jr. and many others. His natural, traditional country sound and easy-going Southern mannerisms, has repeatedly attracted Nashville label attention and led to two different record deals. Unfortunately, unexpected label closures left much of Owens' music unreleased, testing his resolve and will to continue. The staunch country traditionalist has survived career setbacks that would have defeated most performers. Instead, he has recorded a group of songs that will certainly be the breakthrough that he has worked hard to achieve.
Owens offers an upbeat perspective on his career: "I'm very excited about the new single and the message that it delivers!" states Owens enthusiastically. "I think not only Country music fans can relate to it, but listeners from other genres will as well. Simply put, it's a great song and I can't wait for the world to hear it!"

My Country Nation (an OTT channel specifically for country music fans launched by Brad Paisley, Taillight, ARC Entertainment and WME) recently asked Barham and Chris Young to be correspondents at the "Swimville" event held in downtown Nashville for the February launch of the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue release. LIVEWIRE CELEBRATES HIT SINGLE AND READIES NEW MUSIC

PRESS RELEASE

(Nashville, TN) November 5, 2014 - Country band, LiveWire, is celebrating the success of their current hit single, "Drivin' You Outta My Mind." The independent release, on Way Out West Records, has accomplished a rare feat in today's radio world. The single has climbed to the upper reaches of multiple radio charts, including the MusicRow CountryBreakout Chart where it is at #28 this week (10/31), following an amazing run on the Texas/Red Dirt charts, where it recently occupied the #9 spot for 3 consecutive weeks on the Texas Regional Radio Report and landed at #11 on the Texas Music Chart.

"We are so proud of this record," says co-writer and LiveWire lead singer, Andy Eutsler. "We are basically a 'Heartland' band.  We write most of our own music, we play and sing our own parts in a studio in Missouri near where we all live. So, the fact that we can keep it more real and true to who we are and have people accept it across multiple radio formats is a real kick. It validates that we are on the right path for us."

Band manager and co-producer, Clif Doyal agrees. "By doing everything in-house on the creative side and carefully managing our outsourced radio promotions teams, we're able to keep our costs low and still compete with much larger labels. The plan from the beginning was to stay true to LiveWire's sound and brand. They appeal to a wide range of Country and Southern Rock music fans, and by following their own path, they avoid many of the pitfalls that come with chasing the latest trend."

And the strategy is paying off. "Drivin' You Outta My Mind" has helped LiveWire to gain a stronger foothold in several new markets outside of their home base  - both as recording artists and as a concert act. The band capitalized on this higher profile exposure on the recent "Drivin' You Outta My Mind Tour" where they performed in multiple states over the summer at fairs, festivals, casinos and clubs.

Major media outlets have also shown strong support of the independent group's music: "Drivin' You Outta My Mind" was premiered by Roughstock and the music video was exclusively debuted in a feature article in Billboard. Along the way, the song and band gained strong kudos from MusicRow, the Texas Music Chart, Music News Nashville, NASHVILLE IQ, GotCountryOnline, CDX, OneStopCountry.com, and from the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards, where they were 2014 nominees for "New Duo/Band/Group of the Year."

The song also landed LiveWire an endorsement from Dangerous Motors of Cushing, OK, who restored and rebuilt Eutsler's classic red 1967 GTO for use in the music video which topped the "Most Watched" Y'allturnative and All Genre charts at Yallwire for multiple weeks, and gained placements at CMT.com and ZUUS Country.

"Drivin' You Outta My Mind" is the lead single from the band's forthcoming album and was written by Eutsler, Danny Bell, Landon Rolfe and Nashville hitmaker, Johnny Bulford. The song was co-produced by Paul Carabello, Justin Woods and Doyal. The group is currently busy writing and listening to outside songs for the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2012 debut album, LIVIN.'
