“CONCERT FOR CAROLINA” ADDS VEEPS LIVESTREAM DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND FREE VIEWING ACCESS FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY HURRICANE HELENE - NORTH CAROLINIANS THE AVETT BROTHERS, SCOTTY McCREERY, CHASE RICE & PARMALEE JOIN LINEUP

Due to overwhelming demand, Luke Combs, Eric Church, Billy Strings and James Taylor have partnered with Veeps to livestream “Concert for Carolina” on Saturday, October 26. The livestream was added to ensure that all fans would be able to see the show after tickets immediately sold-out this past Thursday. The stream will provide an additional opportunity to raise as much money as possible for Hurricane Helene relief efforts.

Link to livestream HERE.

The livestream will be available worldwide with free access for those impacted by Hurricane Helene, as “Concert for Carolina” and Veeps have used geotargeting to ensure that those in the affected areas will not be charged. For those not directly impacted, the livestream will cost $24.99 with an option for additional donations available. All proceeds from the stream will go to the same organizations that Combs and Church selected for ticket sales to benefit: Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, Eblen Charities and the organizations supported by Chief Cares.

As noted above, North Carolina natives The Avett Brothers, Scotty McCreery, Chase Rice and Parmalee have all now joined the line-up.

Presented by Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority, “Concert for Carolina” will take place at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium and also feature performances from Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban and Bailey Zimmerman. The event will be hosted by ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley. Full details can be found at www.concertforcarolina.com.

“Concert for Carolina” is made possible due to the support and generosity of David and Nicole Tepper and Tepper Sports & Entertainment, Explore Asheville, Biltmore Estate, T-Mobile, Jack Daniel’s, Whataburger, Miller Lite, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, Belk, Lowe’s, Atrium Health, Tractor Supply Company, Bank of America, American Airlines, Food Lion, Duke’s Mayo, GE Aerospace, Harris Teeter, Pinnacle Financial Partners, United Healthcare, Bud Light, Preferred Parking and Gildan.

Born outside of Charlotte and raised in Asheville, Combs is a proud North Carolinian. Growing up singing at school, it wasn’t until he attended Boone’s Appalachian State University that Combs first performed his own songs at a beloved local bar, leading him to his now historic country music career. Since moving to Nashville in 2014, Combs continually returns to North Carolina for landmark moments including his first-ever headline stadium show at Appalachian State’s Kidd Brewer Stadium in 2021 as well as sold-out, back-to-back nights at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium last summer.

Church, a native of Granite Falls, also began his musical journey in Western North Carolina, playing gigs locally throughout high school and into his time at Appalachian State University before chasing his dream to Nashville. He continues to split time between Tennessee and North Carolina with his family, even returning to the Appalachian Mountains to record his most recent project, the three-part Heart & Soul, in Banner Elk. In 2016, he was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame and in 2022, he was awarded the North Carolina Award, the state’s highest civilian honor. Most recently, he released the song “Darkest Hour” in response to the recent devastation, with all publishing royalties being donated.

Although he is a Michigan native, Strings’ life and career has been deeply impacted by the state of North Carolina both personally and professionally, as it is home to some of his most passionate and supportive fans. Over the past few years, Strings has performed at major venues across the state including an upcoming six-night run at Asheville’s ExploreAsheville.com Arena this winter.

Singer-songwriter Taylor moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina with his family when he was just three years old. Taylor’s father served as the Dean of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill medical school from 1964 to 1971. Taylor’s childhood home was on Morgan Creek Road in Chapel Hill-Carrboro. In April 2003, a bridge over Morgan Creek was dedicated to the musician, and renamed the James Taylor Bridge. Taylor’s childhood experiences in North Carolina influenced many of his most popular songs including “Copperline” as well as the beloved “Carolina in My Mind.” As a recording and touring artist, Taylor has touched people with his warm baritone voice and distinctive style of guitar-playing for more than 50 years. Over the course of his celebrated career, he has sold more than 100 million albums, has won multiple Grammy Awards and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, as well as the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2009.

CHASE RICE SETS HIS SIGHTS ON CITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH FALL EYES ON YOU TOUR

"Eyes On You" Surpasses 62 Million Streams in Only Sixth Week of Airplay on Country Radio

Platinum-certified artist Chase Rice has earned a reputation over the years among his loyal fans for delivering high-energy live shows, consistently selling out venues across the country. This fall he returns with the headlining Eyes On You Tour which will span coast to coast beginning Nov. 2 in Eugene, Ore.

“Our fans have been singing ‘Eyes On You’ back to us at the top of their lungs all summer long,” says Rice. “They made it a hit at our live shows before it even got to radio, so it’s only right that we name this the Eyes On You Tour and bring our show back to the people who have been so supportive all along.”

With the fan-favorite song – which was streamed over 50 million times before even being announced as a single and subsequently debuted as the most-added song at Country radio as well as one of Rolling Stone’s 10 Best Songs of the Week – Rice paints a picture of his ideal relationship and the kind of love he believes everyone truly desires.

“Even if people don’t want to admit it, we all love ‘love.’ When you find that perfect relationship it becomes less important what you’re doing and more about that partner you’re doing it with,” explains Rice of the most-streamed song of his career thus far. “‘Eyes On You’ has a fun, singalong melody to it but when you listen to the lyrics you realize it’s talking about that true love we all hope for.”

Taste of Country agrees, calling it “one of the year’s most notable wedding songs” and noting that Rice has “evolved as a singer and songwriter… to ensure the more thoughtful side of his artistry stands under the spotlight,” while Sounds of Nashville declares that “the vulnerability Rice puts on display… is a testament to his growth in the genre and shows promise of all that he has left to do” and Wide Open Country proclaims that “Eyes On You” is “the type of song that could become a singalong staple of Rice’s live show for years to come.”

Rice is currently bringing that live show to fans as part of the Luke Bryan Farm Tour 2018 before going overseas for a headlining U.K. run in advance of his highly-anticipated Eyes On You Tour.

KENNY CHESNEY DOUBLES DOWN IN MUSIC CITY

Nashville Tour Kick-Off 3/26 Goes To Two Nights Due To Demand Even Before Tickets Go On-Sale

Presale begins Thursday 1/22 at 10am CST.

CODEWORD: flipflop

PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Tuesday, Jan. 20) It was obvious the fans missed Kenny Chesney’s high energy, best-night-of-the-year concerts last year, but nobody expected the people to respond with the kind of velocity they have been. With two Foxboro Stadiums shows selling out in twelve minutes, someone might’ve thought just one night at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena wouldn’t be enough.
After announcing the March 26 kick-off to Chesney’s The Big Revival Tour, the demand for tickets before on-sale was so great, the powers that be had to scramble. When tickets go up for sale on Friday, January 23, fans will be able to buy seats for March 26 or March 27. Quick work allows Chesney to meet all his hometown demand.

“When you take a year off and you’re as far into a career as I am,” Chesney says, “you don’t wanna assume they’re still as hungry for you. But I’ve also always said I never want a real fan not to be able to come to the show, so I’m glad I’m able to do two nights in Nashville.”

The Big Revival has prompted a new wave in Chesney’s music, and the fans have responded like it’s No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems or When the Sun Goes Down. After the GRAMMY-nominated “American Kids” spent two weeks at #1, “'Til It’s Gone” topped the chart this week to give the 8-time Entertainer of the Year of his 26th #1.

“I’m so lucky to have the team I have around me. They understand my idea that just ‘cause it hasn’t been done, why can’t we? They made the Flora-Bama-Jama happen with almost no notice – and that was basically a stadium show on the beach! More than 42,000 people, all loving the music and having a blast doing it.

“So when the response (to the Nashville show) was so strong and it looked like people would be left out, I hated that – especially for the for the first show of the year. Once again, they acted fast, revamped some plans and made a second Nashville show happen! I can’t wait.”

With rehearsals about to get underway, video screens being built and footage edited, the man The Wall Street Journal called “The King of the Road” has spent plenty of time getting ready to take it on the road. Look for some surprise songs, some things that have been forgotten and yes, plenty of songs from his 13th #1 Billboard Country Albums debut.

Rolling Stone raved The Big Revival “continuously brings a sense of music energy and emotional urgency... His strongest collection of songs since 2010’s career-defining Hemingway’s Whiskey,” while Billboard wrote, it “captures the zeitgeist of American youth in a way John Mellencamp once owned.”

Another full summer lies ahead, with 20 stadiums, countless arenas, the occasional amphitheater and a few festivals to come. But right now, Chesney is gearing up to kick it all off with not one but two shows in Nashville due to the demand and his desire to get out there and play.

“I’m glad we were able to make it work so everyone who wants to come can! That’s always been the way we’ve tried to do this – and I see no reason to change now.”
