BILLY RAY CYRUS TO PREMIERE NEW MUSIC VIDEO ON GAC TODAY (9/18) & CMT PURE TOMORROW (9/19)

Brand New Single “Change My Mind” Available Now

Nashville, TN – (September 18, 2012) – Everything is coming full circle for multi-platinum recording artist Billy Ray Cyrus with the television premiere of his music video for the new single, “Change My Mind.” This driving country/rock gem harkens back to Cyrus’ Flatwoods, KY, roots and will be brought to life on Great American Country (GAC) today (9/18) and tomorrow (9/19) on CMT Pure. The video can also be seen on all online outlets starting this week.

Watch the video for “Change My Mind” now via:

Directed by Michael Maxxis and filmed in Pioneertown, CA - one of the most storied Old West towns home to Roy Rogers - the video captures both Cyrus’ adventurous and sensitive sides with a rockin’ performance in the desert, a sexy car ride, relationship drama and more. The co-host of ABC's nationally-syndicated entertainment show On The Red Carpet, Rachel Smith, makes a special featured appearance in the video.

When asked about making the video in the middle of the desert, Cyrus shared, “I think the heat ended up working for us. It’s a hot track, on a hot day, with a couple of hot ladies in the video that just smoked it. I can’t wait for the world to see it!”

Billy Ray Cyrus struck it big in June 1992 with his debut album, the eventual 9x-platinum-selling No. 1 Some Gave All, fueled by the best-selling single “Achy Breaky Heart,” which spent five weeks atop the Billboard Country chart.  Some Gave All (which held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart for 17 weeks in a row and became the best-selling debut album of all time by a male solo artist) launched Cyrus’ colorful 20-year career in the spotlight — during which he has sold millions of albums worldwide, charted nearly 30 singles (including three No. 1 country hits), and racked up multiple film and television credits. “Change My Mind” is the lead single and title track from Cyrus’ forthcoming thirteenth studio album produced by the award-winning Brandon Friesen. Change My Mind is set for release on October 23 via Blue Cadillac Music.
