9TH ANNUAL CRAIG CAMPBELL CELEBRITY CORNHOLE CHALLENGE & CONCERT RAISES OVER $27,000 FOR KENNY CAMPBELL FOUNDATION

Charles Esten, Jerrod Niemann, Lucas Hoge, Hannah Dasher and Others Participate

Craig Campbell kicked off CMA Fest with his 9th Annual Celebrity Cornhole Challenge Tuesday, June 6, and when the last bag was tossed over $27,000 was raised for the Kenny Campbell Foundation. Craig defeated his longtime rival Jerrod Niemann, who has played in all nine tournaments, to claim the 2023 trophy. This year’s event was held at the expansive Yee Haw Brewing and Ole Smoky Moonshine distillery at 6th & Peabody in Nashville.

“This has been an amazing day, and I have to thank every artist and celebrity who took the time to be with us today, all of our wonderful sponsors, VIPs and Ole Smoky for hosting us,” said Craig, who was joined on stage by his wife, Mindy, and daughters, Preslee and Kinni Rose.

This year’s Celebrity Cornhole Challenge benefitted the Kenny Campbell Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by Craig to honor his father who lost his battle with Colorectal Cancer at age 36. The organization specializes in raising money for research hospitals and doctors that focus on finding a cure and preventative measures for Colorectal Cancer. Colorectal cancer is a disease in which cells in the colon or rectum grow out of control, making it extremely difficult to treat. Colorectal cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in both men and women. Please join us in the fight against Colorectal Cancer.

Fans placed bids to compete on one of the teams alongside the likes of Charles Esten, Lucas Hoge, Mindy Campbell, Big Vinny, Ashland Craft, Hannah Dasher, Tayler Holder, Trey Lewis, Tim Montana, Jerrod Niemann, Mitch Rossell, Shaylen, Holly Stocks, and Craig himself. A free concert followed the tournament and included Craig, Ashland Craft, Cody Cozz and Bradley Gaskin.

CMA Fest attendees can catch Craig signing autographs in the Roper Booth and CMA booth in the Music City Center on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively. He is scheduled to perform on the Ascend Amphitheater stage Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

CRAIG CAMPBELL TO RELEASE "WHAT I THANK (WHEN I DRANK)" SINGLE

Craig Campbell has set Friday, June 9, 2023 as the release date for the first single from his The Lost Files: Exhibit B album. The upbeat “What I Thank (When I Drank)” can be pre-saved/added HERE. Craig wrote the song with Wyatt McCubbin for his Grindstone Recordings label.

“If you know me, you know I love 90s country, and when Wyatt and I wrote this, I knew immediately it had to be that kind of song,” said Craig. “From the chicken pickin’ to the squeezbox, if this song don’t get you fired up…nothing will!”

Craig released the 16-track The Lost Files: Exhibit A in February. The album covered music recorded during two label deals and other songs he had cut over the years. The collection of songs he called “unfiltered, unapologetic, and from my heart” will be followed by Exhibit B later this summer.

Craig has set Tuesday, June 6, 2023 for his 9th Annual Celebrity Cornhole Challenge, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 6th & Peabody in downtown Nashville. Craig, his wife Mindy, and a host of artists and celebrities will partner with the highest-bidding fans to compete for a trophy and bragging rights. A free concert starring Craig and several of the artists will immediately follow the trophy presentation.

Fans can place bids HERE to compete on one of the teams alongside the likes of Mindy Campbell, Big Vinny, Ashland Craft, Hannah Dasher, Charles Esten, Lucas Hoge, Tayler Holder, Trey Lewis, Tim Montana, Jerrod Niemann, Mitch Rossell, Shaylen, Holly Stocks, and Craig himself.

Photo Credit: William McClintic / ThinkCountryMusic.com

The star-studded 7th Annual Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge is in the books, and over $35,000 was raised for Fight Colorectal Cancer on Tuesday. Being in the comfort of an air conditioned ballroom in Nashville’s Omni Hotel didn’t stop the smack talk between the 16 artists and celebrities and the players who bid to partner with them. Host Craig Campbell and Country star Jerrod Niemann – who has played in all seven Celebrity Cornhole Challenges – were pitted against each other in the final round. When the last beanbag fell, Craig emerged victorious.

“Once again, the cornhole tournament was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who worked and participated to make it all happen,” said Craig. “I’m so proud of what we’ve done and very excited to see what we’re gonna do. We will eliminate colon cancer one bag toss at a time!”

In addition to Niemann, Jimmie Allen, Lauren Alaina, Adam Craig, Ernest, Trea Landon, Love and Theft’s Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles, Tyler Rich, DeeJay Silver, Anna Vaus, Christen Whitney, Mark Wills and Clay Walker joined Craig, his wife Mindy and their two daughters for the very personal cause. Craig’s father passed away with colorectal cancer at age 36, and he, his friends and family have now raised over $335,000 for Fight Colorectal Cancer.

Craig and Mindy’s oldest daughter, Preslee, kicked things off with a beautiful rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner.” Fans and cornhole ringers bid to play with each celebrity, which brought in $10,000. A personal BBQ and concert with Craig brought in $9,000, and auction items including a Traeger Pro Grill, Ole Smokey Moonshine and unique items from Josh Turner, Diamond Rio, Yee Yee, Brett Eldredge and others brought in thousands more.

Fans can catch Craig performing with several friends at The Listening Room Café in Nashville at 8:30 p.m. tonight. Friday, he will be signing autographs and performing at the WSM Fans & Friends Barbeque at 12:50 p.m. More information on the free event can be found here. Later that day, he will be performing at the Yee Haw Brewing Company, 423 6th Avenue South in Nashville at 5 p.m

CRAIG CAMPBELL SCORES WITH DAY OF STAR-STUDDED TAILGATE FUN AT 6TH ANNUAL CELEBRITY CORNHOLE CHALLENGE

COUNTRY HITMAKERS COMPETE WITH FANS TO BENEFIT FIGHT CRC

HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED SEE YOU TRY EP OUT FRIDAY (6/8)

Red Bow Records Country star CRAIG CAMPBELL put his big-hearted values on display at yesterday’s 6TH ANNUAL CELEBRITY CORNHOLE CHALLENGE, hosting a star-studded afternoon of friendly competition to benefit Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC).

Taking place outside Nashville’s City Winery, the fun-filled day scored with plenty of cornhole action – a bag-toss game popular with tailgaters all around the nation – plus a celebrity cast which featured Campbell and his wife Mindy, Russell Dickerson, Lindsay Ell, Walker Hayes, Brett Kissel, NASCAR driver Scott Lagasse, Jr., LOCASH, Tegan Marie, Morgan Mills, Jerrod Niemann, Taylor Phillips, Dee Jay Silver, The Cadillac Three and Brett Young.

Fans bid for the chance to play against the stars in tournament fashion, with Craig Campbell ultimately taking home first place.

Tonight (6/6), Campbell will follow up at City Winery with the One Million Strong Dinner gala, where the total amount raised from this year’s event will be officially revealed. Having lost his father to colorectal cancer at 11 years old, the dedicated family man is one of FIGHT CRC’s national spokespersons, and has previously raised more than $300,000 for the cause.

But with Nashville’s beloved CMA Music Fest getting underway, Campbell’s big week is just getting started.

Tomorrow, June 7, Campbell will celebrate Throwback Thursday at his old haunt The Stage on Nashville’s Lower Broadway – the same honky tonk where he was discovered years earlier. Starting at 2 p.m. CT, the traditionally-minded star will deliver a set of ‘90s Country favorites for a show billed as Karaoke With Craig. Then at 9 p.m. CT he’ll bring out his own hits with a primetime set on the massive Cracker Barrel Country Roads Stage at Ascend Amphitheater.

On Friday, June 8, Campbell will release his highly-anticipated SEE YOU TRY EP – seven diverse tracks featuring his flirtatious chart-riser “See You Try” and two versions of the critically-acclaimed “Outskirts of Heaven.”

And finally on Sunday, June 10, he’ll finish up as the last artist to perform on the attention grabbing Chevy Riverfront Stage. That hit-filled set will get underway at 4:45 p.m. CT, and all of Campbell’s CMA Music Fest concert appearances are free and open to the public.

The week marks the beginning of a big summer for the fan favorite, who plans to headline select dates across North America following a standout 2017 which included Luke Bryan’s HUNTIN', FISHIN' AND LOVIN' EVERY DAY Tour.
