Radio programmers are starting to realize that importance of keeping "country" in country music and his airplay numbers are growing. The single makes the listener think twice about the true meaning of "Country" and that's something that's been needed for a long time in the genre, "meaning". "Clean Up on Aisle Five", another song recently released by Mo, is a country classic, but not one that's been sung by another artist or sold a gazillion copies, but one that's already earned the title of classic without even being released to radio. It's classic in it's memoir of a meeting between former flames in a grocery store, the unresolved feelings and the mess that meeting left behind. It's a tale that anyone who's been in love and had their heart broken can relate to and it leaves a lump in your throat with the memory of that lost love. His performance of the song on the Grand Ole Opry stage ended in a well deserved standing ovation and put his name on the country music map as a destination for any fan of what country music once represented. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 9, 2013) – A toast was made in Las Vegas at the stroke of midnight Sunday night to celebrate award-winning singer/songwriter Lee Brice’s new #1 single, “I Drive Your Truck”. The poignant ballad joins his previous 2 number one songs as singles that also happened to peak the same week as major country award shows. “A Woman Like You” went #1 the week of the 2012 ACM Awards. The follow up single “Hard To Love” hit the top spot later that year during the week of the CMA Awards, and following suit, “I Drive Your Truck” reached the pinnacle during ACM Awards week this year. Curb Records is gearing up for the 4th single, “Parking Lot Party”, off the current album.

 

Although a prolific songwriter himself, Brice did not write “I Drive Your Truck”; however, he knew he had to cut it as soon as he heard it. “Every now and then I hear a song that just blows me away,” he said. “And that song just put me on the floor the first time I heard it”. Brice’s powerfully raw and emotional offering is the fastest moving single of his career and is his 3rd #1 single in a row from his latest album, Hard 2 Love, which includes several songs co-written and co-produced by label mate, Jon Stone of new duo American Young, which also includes Kristy Osmunson.

 

Jon and Kristy joined hosts Dallas Davidson and Don Schlitz and gave the crowd a taste of their new music at the ACM Songwriters Show. Before attending the awards, the duo walked the red carpet where Jon spoke about his Song of the Year nomination for Brice’s “A Woman Like You” and they both fielded questions about their highly anticipated new album, which will be co-produced by Lee Brice and Justin Neibank. The duo, who have a list of songwriting and producer credits among them, will release their debut single “Love Is War” to radio this summer.

DYLAN SCOTT TO PERFORM AT WALMART FLW TOUR EVENTS IN 2013

Nashville, TN (January 18, 2013) – FLW, the world’s premier tournament fishing organization, announced today that country music artist Dylan Scott will tour with and perform at multiple Walmart FLW Tour events in 2013.

A 22-year-old native of Bastrop, La., Scott is signed to Sidewalk Records in Nashville. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his debut album with famed producer Jim Ed Norman, and his first single, “Makin’ This Boy Go Crazy” is scheduled to be released to radio in Spring 2013.

“Growing up in Louisiana, I have long been familiar with the FLW tournaments”, said Scott. “It is an honor for me to be involved in the partnership with this organization, and I look forward to performing at the weigh-ins and being part of the festivities.”

Scott will be performing a free concert on the FLW main stage prior to the final day four weigh-ins at Walmart parking lots and arenas at the following events:

He played the prestigious Louisiana Hayride and won the local final for the Colgate Country Music Showdown. In 2009, Scott won the Neal McCoy East Texas Angel Network Talent Contest. Soon afterwards, he came to the attention of Sidewalk Records executives, who signed him to a long-term recording contract.
