DAILEY & VINCENT CONTINUE ‘LET’S SING SOME COUNTRY!’ AT THE OPRY WITH DAILEY & VINCENT VIDEO SERIES WITH RELEASE OF “HILLBILLY HIGHWAY” VIDEO

Grand Ole Opry stars and GRAMMY® Award-nominees Dailey & Vincent continue their ‘Let's Sing Some Country!' At the Opry with Dailey & Vincent video series today with the release of fun, upbeat tune “Hillbilly Highway.” Shot in Opry’s Porter Wagoner dressing room, the visual features lead vocals by Darrin Vincent, and offers a lighthearted, jam band feel, featuring the rest of Dailey & Vincent’s talented outfit. “Hillbilly Highway” was included on their latest album release, Let’s Sing Some Country!, out now

"We shot the video in the Porter Wagoner dressing room backstage. It was a fun, off-the-beaten-path spot to shoot a video, and any chance we get to hang in our Opry home, we'll take!”
- Darrin Vincent

"The song tells the story of a family that's fallen on hard times, yet continues to try and do better despite the relentless challenges - which is so relatable for so many of us,” added Jamie Dailey of the decision to cut the song for Let’s Sing Some Country! “I love hearing Darrin sing on it. It's a fun song to jam on, and kind of reminds me of us on the road."

5x GRAMMY® Award winners individually, 3x GRAMMY® Award nominees collectively, 4x GMA DOVE Award winners and 35x IBMA Award winners together, the pair found the move into the country genre with Let’s Sing Some Country! a seamless and natural progression. Produced by Paul Worley (Lady A, The Chicks, Trace Adkins), the renowned duo focused their creative efforts on making the country record that they’ve always wanted to make - and it was embraced by industry and fans alike. Joined on the project by Jimmy Fortune, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, and more, Let’s Sing Some Country! was lauded by press. “The album is a testament to the shared musical modalities between country and bluegrass, leaning heavily on the duo’s bluegrass stylings and airtight harmonies,” praised Billboard, while Saving Country Music stated Dailey & Vincent “...freshens things up by releasing this country record to favorable results.”

DAILEY & VINCENT TO RELEASE FIRST-EVER COUNTRY ALBUM "LET’S SING SOME COUNTRY"

Pre-Save/Pre-Add HERE

Stars of the Grand Ole Opry, 5x GRAMMY® Award winners individually, 3x GRAMMY® Award nominees collectively, 4x DOVE Award winners and 35x IBMA Awards winners altogether, Dailey & Vincent – Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent – continue adding to their Country, Bluegrass, and Gospel roots with the release their new Country record appropriately titled Let’s Sing Some Country! on Friday, September 16.

Produced by Paul Worley (Lady A, The Chicks, Trace Adkins), and with songs written by and the help of Jimmy Fortune, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Rhonda Vincent and more, Let’s Sing Some Country! unleashes another side to the award-winning duo that fans don’t often hear. Since their first GRAMMY® nomination for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group for their rendition of “Elizabeth” (nominated alongside Lady A, Little Big Town, The SteelDrivers, and Zac Brown Band), a Country project has been on their radar.

“Recording this project of material for BMG has been one of the biggest highlights of our career,” said Dailey & Vincent. “Working with legendary producer Paul Worley, picking great songs, and putting the best musicians in a room to help us create the art of music has been an education and an unforgettable experience. This collection of music is what we’ve dreamed of recording for a long time. We hope you will enjoy our version of Country music. So join us, crank it up and ‘Let’s Sing Some Country!’”

Opening with “I’ll Leave My Heart In Tennessee” (written by Karen Staley) – a love letter to the volunteer state, the latest Tennessee state song inductee, and the lead song from the project - the 11-track album ebbs and flows through the delicate ballad of heartbreak with “Colder Than Winter” to the swampy “Those Memories of You,” to the upbeat stylings of “Feels Like That Again,” “Hillbilly Highway,” “Message From The Farm” and more, channeling the duo’s southern roots with back-porch philosophies and homegrown sentiments.

Follow Jennifer on Twitter at @Lovinlyrics

If you're a fan of the Oak Ridge Boys, then you already know who Rex Wiseman is and that he is quite literally the consummate country musician. Name an instrument, he plays the heck out of it and if he doesn't play it, he'll learn. His heart beats music, the notes and melodies run through his veins. He stands behind the Oak Ridge Boys every night as a longtime member of the Mighty Oaks Band, singing, playing and well, being Rex. Now, Rex has stepped into the studio and released his own CD, "Welcome Home." This CD has been in the works for quite awhile and I was lucky to have watched this go from dream to reality for him.

This CD is 14 tracks of some of the best "new grass" music performed by Rex and some of country music's biggest names including the Oaks, Dailey and Vincent, Jimmy Fortune and Rhonda Vincent and penned by some of the best writers in country music such as George Jones, Dean Dillon, Scotty Emerick, Skip Ewing, and others. This CD is a surplus of talent and if you're a fan of bluegrass or traditional country complete with pedal steel and fiddles, you will NOT be disappointed. This CD delivers a recital of amazing instrumentation, vocals and story telling that come together in the perfect way. This CD will help you find your way home.

"Welcome Home" Track Listing

1. I'm Ragged but I'm Right
2. Put My Little Shoes Away

DON’T BE AN APRIL FOOL AND MISS THIS MONTH’S GREAT LINE-UP AT “LARRY’S COUNTRY DINER”

Lip-Smackin’, Toe-Tappin’ Spontaneous Good Time at RFD’s Top-Rated Show

Nashville, TN (April 6, 2012) – There may only be eighteen tables at“Larry’s Country Diner,” but it services 1.4 million people each and every month as one of the top-rated shows on the RFD-TV network. The diner is not your ordinary restaurant, but rather a unique down-home variety show that in just over two short years has become a favorite “eatery” of country fans everywhere. Cornbread and black-eyed peas only complement the heapin’ helpin’ of country music performances served up by the stars of yesterday and today.

A new episode of "Larry’s Country Diner" will air each week in April on the RFD-TV network. April’s line-up offers a little something to satisfy every musical “taste" for country music fans:

Week of:
April 12: Joey + Rory
April 19: Buddy Greene
April 26: Dailey & Vincent
All Schedules Subject to Change without Notice

Air times for “Larry’s Country Diner” are Thursday night at 7 P.M. CST/8 P.M EST, Friday morning at 9 A.M. CST/10 A.M. EST, or Saturday evening from 10 P.M. CST/11 P.M. EST. For more information on “Larry’s Country Diner,” please visit larryscountrydiner.com.

Taped bi-monthly in front of a live studio/diner audience at NorthStar Studios (3201 Dickerson Pike, Nashville), the show’s spontaneity is part of the mystique of “Larry’s Country Diner” which contributes greatly to its success. “The prevailing attitude at the diner is ‘…the cameras are always rollin’… and we don’t care,’” explains Larry Black, host and creator of “Larry’s Country Diner.”

The fact that plates are dropped or broken during a performance, a rack of knives and forks are dumped on the floor or that some of the lights go out while they were filming makes the show all that more exciting in a day where even reality shows are produced within strict script guidelines. “It’s the kind of television you just don’t see too much anymore and both the artists and fans love it,” states Black who adds, “We even tell our artists that once the tape starts rolling, it does not stop. If you get yourself in trouble, get yourself out ‘cause we’re not stoppin’.”

Because of its popularity, getting a seat to see a live taping might prove more difficult than getting a reservation at one of L.A.’s most trendy posh restaurants — the first available table is not available until 2013, so you’ll want to plan way in advance. For reservations, please call 615-673-2846 or email paula@gabrielcommunications.com.

ABOUT LARRY’S COUNTRY DINER:

BLUEGRASS DUO PREPARES TO SHARE ANOTHER MUSICAL SIDE

Exclusive CD The Gospel Side of Dailey & Vincent On Its Way To Cracker Barrel®

After hundreds of hours in the recording studio, Rounder Records duo Dailey & Vincent have added the finishing touches and will soon be releasing The Gospel Side of Dailey & Vincent. The project will be the duo’s first-ever Gospel album and their second CD with the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store®exclusive music program. The new album will be available for purchase January 9, 2012.

Three-time International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Entertainers of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent are known for intertwining Gospel music in their shows and recorded music. “We love to sing all different styles of Gospel music including Bluegrass, Southern, Traditional and Contemporary, and this is what led us to name this recording exactly what it is, The Gospel Side of Dailey & Vincent,” said Dailey. The CD is an inspiring collection of long-time favorites along with new offerings including “Living in the Kingdom of God” written by Jamie Dailey and “Until At Last I’m Home” written by Darrin Vincent, Jim Britton and Brad Price. This inspirational CD will be available exclusively at all Cracker Barrel® locations.

The album also landed the #1 spot on the Heatseekers Albums Chart, for artists who have never appeared in the top 100 of the Billboard 200, or the top 10 of R&B/HipHop, Country, Latin, Christian or Gospel Albums charts.
