WANT DAVID ST ROMAIN TO SING TO YOUR MOM ON MOTHER'S DAY?

Why is May 13th such a special day? It is Mother's Day. Moms take care of everything, all day. "You were a taxicab driver, a nurse and a maid, a waitress, a cook and a shoulder to lay". What better time to host a little contest.

Tell David why your mom is the best in a short essay and submit via email to contest@davidstromain.com. David will personally call the winners mom and sing "Twenty Years Late" to her on Mother's Day. The deadline to enter is May 11th. The entries can be funny, emotional etc. but please be honest and from the heart. David is looking forward to reading about your moms.

Good Luck!

VIDEO: Mason Douglas, Jared Blake and David St Romain Outtakes

Three of our favorite new artists that we promote regularly, Mason Douglas, Jared Blake and David St. Romain, in one video, does it get any better? Oh yes it can, add a splash of Corey Batten. I don't think so! If you're in Nashville, The Listening Room is a MUST EXPERIENCE.

VIDEO PREMIERE: "Some Things" - David St Romain

If you're like me, you know that some things just NEED to be said and we're not alone. David St. Romain makes the sentiment known in his new video for his latest single, "Some Things". Interesting trivia bit: This song was a favorite of ours when we heard it on Bridgette Tatum's cd awhile back. Looks like country knows a good song when they hear it.

REPOST: Music that Shaped David St. Romain's Life (Country Aircheck)

Great piece from Country Aircheck on one of our favorite new artists, David St. Romain -

DSR Entertainment’s David St. Romain discusses his most influential songs, albums and concerts:

1. Kenny Rogers/She Believes In Me:  I remember my dad singing this regularly when I was a child. His
smooth voice really motivated me to be a soulful singer and entertainer.

2. Garth Brooks/Wolves: No Fenceswas one of the first CD's my brothers and I had in our house. I discovered “Wolves” at a time in my life that was very influential and unforgettable. My brother was serving in the Gulf War and it affected our family tremendously.

3. Metallica and Guns N’ Roses concert, 1992: My high school buddies and I spent the night outside the mall
to get tickets to this show. It was an absolutely amazing experience to witness both superstar groups in their heyday.

4. Van Morrison/Tupelo Honey: It’s hard to lock down one favorite song, but this one has to be it.

5. The Best Of The Johnny Cash TV Show: 1969-1971: My mentor gave me this DVD collection for my birthday. It spans so many genres of music. Johnny Cash’s connection with the audience shows what true artistry is about.

• A highly regarded song or album you’ve never heard: Adele. I hear she’s amazing, but haven’t checked
her out yet. I guess I need to download now.

• An “important” piece of music you just don’t get: Yo Gabba Gabba.

• An album you played or listened to incessantly: Sarah McLachlan’s Surfacing. I would fall asleep to this every
night during my latter phase of training in the Army
.
• One obscure or non-country song everyone should listen to right now: Ray Charles’ “Ring Of Fire” from Love Country Style.
