FAREWELL ANGELINA OPEN FOR BACON BROTHERS

Sell Out City Winery Lounge

(l. to r.) Farewell Angelina's Lisa Torres and Lauren Lucas, Kevin Bacon, Michael Bacon, Farewell Angelina's Andrea Young and Nicole Witt at the Lyric Theatre in Birmingham.

Powerhouse all-female country group Farewell Angelina opened for the Bacon Brothers at the historic Lyric Theatre in Birmingham last week and have been invited to open several more dates for actor Kevin and his film-scoring brother Michael.

Following a sold-out 75-minute show at Nashville's City Winery lounge last night, the four singers, songwriters and badass multi-instrumentalists are on their way to play the World Pork Expo in Des Moines tonight. From there, they will jet to Dallas to open for the Bacon Brothers at the Kessler Theater tomorrow night and the Heights Theater in Houston Saturday night.

They will be back in Nashville on Sunday performing songs from their eponymous debut EP on the Radio Disney Stage as part of the CMA Music Festival. On Monday, June 12, they will be back out with The Bacon Brothers at Duling Hall in Jackson, Mississippi.

The following weekend, Farewell Angelina will open for Old Dominion and Billy Currington at the Bands in the Backyard Music Festival in Vineland, Colorado on Friday, June 16. As one of the Taste of Country RISERS, Farewell Angelina will front Frankie Ballard, Old Dominion and Kenny Chesney at the massive Country Jam in Grand Junction, CO on Saturday. The next night, they open for Ballard again at the ABQ BioPark Zoo in Albuquerque.

Farewell Angelina is an all-female country group featuring four powerhouse vocalists, dynamic songwriters and badass multi-instrumentalists signed to Dreamlined Entertainment. Together their magic blend of a multitude of stringed instruments, two blazing violins, and unique harmonies have taken Nashville by storm, and that enthusiasm is now spreading via word-of-mouth, social media, and live shows that bring down the house. They were recently named as one of Taste of Country's RISERS, which spotlights the top new artists of 2017, and RollingStone listed them as one of their "10 New Country Artists You Need to Know."

FAREWELL ANGELINA TO PERFORM AT KENTUCKY DERBY EVENT

Unbridled Eve Derby Gala Benefits Several Charities

Before the Mint Juleps flow and the call to post sounds at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, Farewell Angelina will hit the stage to entertain guests at the Sixth Annual Unbridled Eve Derby Gala on Friday evening. Billed as a night of Southern grace, glamour, charm and hospitality at its finest, the black tie-optional event draws Louisville lovers, athletes, celebrities and racing enthusiasts to the historic Galt House Hotel from across the globe.

After sound check and a quick wardrobe change, the Farewell Angelina ladies will head to Churchill Downs to take in the Longines Kentucky Oaks, America's premier and most lucrative race for 3-year old fillies - female horses - held each year on the day before the Kentucky Derby.

"Playing a Kentucky Derby event has been on our bucket list since we formed Farewell Angelina," said the band collectively. "We can't wait to spend the day at Churchill Downs and then play the Unbridled Eve Derby Gala."

All of this fun helps a number of charitable causes, including the 2016 primary beneficiary, Blessings in a Backpack, an organization that fights childhood hunger by providing needy elementary school students a backpack of food on the weekends.

Following Derby weekend, Farewell Angelina will head east for dates in Asheville, Batesville-Leesburg SC, Birmingham, Charlotte, Toccoa GA and Isle of Palms SC before returning to Nashville for a date at the City Winery. Check their website to see if they'll be in your area - www.farewellangelinamusic.com
