Big Loud Records’ breakout star Chris Lane celebrated his first #1 at Country radio with his debut GOLD-certified smash “Fix” at a formal gathering in Nashville hosted by BMI and ASCAP yesterday (10/10). Family, friends, and members of the music industry community gathered to commemorate the milestone and cheer on the songwriters - Sarah Buxton, Jesse Frasure, and Abe Stoklasa - as the publishers (Big Loud Shirt, Big Yellow Dog, Major Bob Music and Round Hill) honored each writer.

The day was extra special for all three songwriters since it marked the first career #1 for Stoklasa as well as the second #1 Buxton and Frasure shared together since they co-wrote Florida Georgia Line’s “Sun Daze.”

Adding to the larger than life celebration, Big Loud Records’ continues to prove it’s big-league with their first-ever single going straight to the top – an unheard-of start for a new label.

The irresistible “Fix” is the lead track from Lane’s debut album GIRL PROBLEMS produced by superstar studio ace Joey Moi (Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen). The album features current chart-rising single “For Her” as well as “Fix,” which surpassed an impressive 26 million streams on Spotify and 6 million views on Vevo.

Lane has won shout-outs from massive industry names like Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Selena Gomez, Florida Georgia Line, Lucy Hale, Daughtry, and more, after starting his career selling out club shows in his hometown of Kernersville, NC, before going on to open for Dustin Lynch’s sold-out HELL OF A NIGHT Tour and spending his summer on the RHYTHM & ROOTS Tour. The “For Her” video, featuring a romantic, real-life wedding proposal, was released September 17 with an exclusive CMT world premiere.

Big Loud Records’ fast-rising recording artist Chris Lane is world premiering the blazing hot new music video for his single “Fix” exclusively across CMT, the 24/7 digital music channel CMT Music, ChrisLane.CMT.com and the CMT Artists mobile app today (1/7). Following the 24-hour premiere, the video will be available across multiple media platforms.

Temperatures rise and hearts-pound in the video directed by TK McKamy, which brings Lane’s “Fix” to life and shows off his classy swagger in ‘falling in love at the end of the night.’ Filmed at an airport hangar just outside of Nashville, the video features lead model Cheyenne McCann who turns the heat up dancing in a smoky silhouette. Watch the music video here: http://www.cmt.com/videos/chris-lane/1268661/fix.jhtml.

“I wanted the vibe of the video to match the sound of ‘Fix’ and I really feel we captured it. Making this video was so much fun and I can’t wait for my fans to check it out,” shared Chris Lane.

Breaking records with his lead single “Fix,” Lane accumulated the most first week single adds from a debut male artist in Country Aircheck history. Also coming in at No. 1 on Billboard’s Twitter Real-Time Emerging Artist chart, he racked up shout-outs from celebrities Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, Lucy Hale, Dustin Lynch, Cole Swindell, and more, making the song one of the most shared tracks on Twitter in the U.S. from an up-and-coming artist that day. Media have applauded the newcomer’s bold, fresh sound and standout falsetto, featuring him on Billboard.com, E! Online, Glamour.com and more.

Working with acclaimed producer Joey Moi, Lane discovered his gift for the falsetto with “Fix.” The infectious title track shaped Lane's sonic direction for his debut EP FIX and sent him on a search for songs to fit the upper register of his vocal range. The result – an addictive and danceable set of six songs, which is now available here: http://apple.co/1OGYDBS.

Opening for Dustin Lynch’s HELL OF A NIGHT Tour, Lane kicks off 2016 with two back-to-back SOLD OUT shows tonight (1/7) and tomorrow (1/8) in Chicago, IL, and will continue with upcoming stops in Louisville, KY (1/16), Cleveland, OH (1/17) and more.

Celebrated by ROLLING STONE as one of the “10 New Country Artists You Need To Know,” Lane ascended into the national spotlight topping several 2015 “Artist To Watch” lists including TasteOfCountry.com, TheBoot.com, Spotify, #CMChat, and landed as a Top 5 finalist in Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star contest. Starting his career selling out club shows in his hometown of Kernersville, NC, Lane launched onto the Country music scene opening for Brett Eldredge, Thomas Rhett, and Chase Rice, eventually touring with heavy-hitters Florida Georgia Line, Nelly, Jerrod Niemann, Lee Brice and more.

GET YOUR "FIX" WITH CHRIS LANE'S DEBUT EP RELEASED TODAY

Since the release of his vibrant new single "Fix," fans have been jonesing for more music from Big Loud Records' Chris Lane and today (11/13), the hot newcomer releases his highly-anticipated debut EP FIX across all digital retailers. Already abuzz with media praise for the lead single and title track, "Fix" has garnered early airplay and is set to impact Country radio on December 7.

Creating his own niche sound within the genre, Billboard.com reports Lane “pushes the already-stretched boundaries of country even further” and popular site Taste of Country selected "Fix" as a Critic’s Pick praising the "…super-sized, Red Bull-fueled pop-country jam…" Of note, “Fix” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Twitter Real-Time Emerging Artist chart with shout-outs from celebrities Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, Lucy Hale, Dustin Lynch, Cole Swindell, and more, making the song one of the most shared tracks on Twitter in the U.S. from an up-and-coming artist. Impressed by the fan interaction, radio trade site All Access noted, “The first release from the artist signed to a brand new label in town doesn’t always flood your social media stream, but when it does, it’s probably because it’s from a highly-buzzed about…young, dynamic artist.”

Working with acclaimed producer Joey Moi, Lane discovered his gift for using falsetto. Showcasing his versatile vocals, “Fix” shaped Lane's sonic direction and sent him on a search for songs fit for the upper register of his vocal range. The result - an addictive and danceable EP, featuring standout tracks including the romantic escape "For Her" and the simply titled "Cool," which cleverly mines old-school nostalgia. The magnificent "Stolen Car,” with its infectious "had to have you" refrain, calls to mind the smooth finesse of Justin Timberlake and the music savvy of Keith Urban, who inspired Lane to learn the guitar and become an entertainer.

"The average country fan grew up the same way I did. And guys like Thomas Rhett, Sam Hunt and Florida Georgia Line did too: listening to all different kinds of music, especially dance, pop, and country," Lane says. "The songs on my EP build on that and lend themselves to making people want to move. I cannot wait for fans to hear it!"

Paving the way towards his career in music, Lane started playing sold-out club shows near his hometown of Kernersville, NC then continued on to open for Brett Eldredge, Thomas Rhett, Chase Rice and tour with heavy-hitters Florida Georgia Line, Nelly, Jerrod Niemann, Lee Brice and more.
