Hundreds of fans and members of the music industry community gathered at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to watch the breakout duo's final rehearsal before they embark on the 32-city tour, which kicks off this Thursday (10/3) in Brookings, SD. NASHVILLE, TN - (July 12, 2013) – Florida Georgia Line has only hinted at their upcoming first-ever major headline run -- HERE’S TO THE GOOD TIMES TOUR 2013 -- with the public announcement of the 10/19 stop in Lexington, KY at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. This morning (7/12) the 10,718 available tickets SOLD OUT in a record-breaking 23 minutes. According to the show promoter Michael Jordan, “this is the fastest sellout in Whitaker Bank Ballpark history!” This tour date will feature openers Colt Ford and Tyler Farr.

Holy crap! Florida Georgia Line's debut song, "Cruise", has now been certified 4X's Platinum! That's double double platinum! Now that's impressive, I don't care if you like the song or not or whether you like the group or not. Those that know me, know I am not a fan of crossover. I prefer my country pure, but since the first time I saw these guys perform live a few years back, I loved their show, their personalities and their work ethic and knew it was a group I had to support. Is the music "country", technically no, but it has a twang to it and if you listen to their first cd, you can hear the country in it. The second cd, this one, is more rock/pop directed but whatever you call them, country fans are loving them, I see it everyday. The numbers speak for themselves, they're doing something right. I'm proud of them, stand by them and support them wholeheartedly. They are all great guys with charisma that could bring Attila the Hun to his knees, humble hearts and a genuine kindness that is rare in this industry. They're living their dream which is more than most of us can say. They worked hard to get here, established a bond with their fans, and believed in their talent even when it seemed like nothing was ever going to happen and they were playing small bars to small crowds.
