PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn., (Friday, Jan. 31 2014) – Black River Entertainment recording artist Glen Templeton continues to hit home with fans as “Ball Cap” claimed the number one spot on January 25, for a second consecutive week on SiriusXM’s The Highway Hot 45 LIVE.

Following the number one that landed on his birthday last week, Glen caught up with SiriusXM’s Storme Warren live on the air. “That song is one of the catchiest, coolest, most fun songs. No wonder it went to number one!” exclaimed Storme.

“What an honor to be the number one song, on The Highway,” shared Glen. “Man I can’t thank everybody enough who’s helped me along the way. I have a mile long list of people. One person in particular I need to thank is James Stroud. He has taken this song to a new level. We knew when we heard it, it was magic.”

Produced by James Stroud (Tim McGraw, Aaron Lewis, Clint Black), “Ball Cap” was written by Black River Publishing’s Forest Glen Whitehead, singer/songwriter Cassidy Lynn and Curb Records recording artist Dylan Scott.

A proven fan favorite, “Ball Cap” continues to gain speed as the digital streaming of the song has reached over 600,000 collective views on Youtube. Digitally released on September 24, “Ball Cap” has sold nearly 74,000 units and is playing on SiriusXM’s The Highway. The new lyric video for the song may be seen on YouTube and "Ball Cap" is digitally available on iTunes and Amazon.

Glen Templeton first felt country music tugging on his soul while growing up in Elrod, Alabama. In 2004, the pull was strong enough to compel him to pack up and head north to Nashville. GLEN TEMPLETON’S “I COULD BE THE ONE” ENTERS BILLBOARD INDICATOR CHART / SINGLE TO BE FEATURED ON iTUNES CMA FEST SAMPLER

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GLEN TEMPLETON’S “I COULD BE THE ONE”
ENTERS BILLBOARD INDICATOR CHART WITH CONVICTION
Single To Be Featured On iTunes CMA Fest Sampler

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 18, 2011)—Nashville-based Capstone Music Group is pleased to celebrate the early radio welcome of Glen Templetons national radio debut entitled “I Could Be The One.” Officially released Monday, May 9, 2011 (CDX Vol. 522 / 4/25/2011 • PlayMpE--4/19/2011), the single entered the Billboard Indicator Chart at No. 59 and was the sixth most-added song at stations across the country. One short week later, the track jumped 12 spots to No. 47.

Digital outlets and music industry organizations have also embraced the Templeton tune; after sifting through thousands of submissions from various labels (major and independent), “I Could Be The One” was selected to appear on the official iTunes CMA Fest download sampler (2011). In recent festival years, iTunes street teams have assembled to hand out the download cards during “country music’s biggest week” offering free downloads from the country artists participating in the event.  This year 40,000 cards will be distributed over the course of the four-day event. Glen and the other sampler artists will also be featured on a dedicated  iTunes page that will highlight GT, his summer CD release, along with “I Could Be The One.”

The track comes from Templeton’s album entitled GT, his first studio recording (from Grammy award-winning producer/engineer Mark Lambert who has also worked on projects with Elton John, Willie Nelson, Ronnie Milsap, Trace Adkins and more) which features special guest performances by Leon Russell.

“The excitement and reaction to my single from the onset has been humbling,” Glen reveals. “Seeing the adds and listener responses has been such a thrill – thanks so much to country radio!”

Country fans who attend CMA Fest come from all over the world and become ambassadors when they return home– calling their local stations and becoming tastemakers for country radio worldwide. Providing music to these influential music enthusiasts will help spread Templeton’s music globally--making the opportunity a homerun for his single, album release, Summer-2011 tour dates and ticket sales.

Since the beginning of the year, Glen has been engaged in an aggressive radio promotion tour that will take him to 48 states.

GLEN TEMPLETON INTRODUCES HIS DEBUT SINGLE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GLEN TEMPLETON INTRODUCES HIS DEBUT SINGLE

“I Could Be The One” Set For May 9, 2011 Release

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 19, 2011)—Nashville-based Capstone Music Group has announced the official release date for newcomer Glen Templeton’s national radio debut. Templeton is set to release his first single entitled “I Could Be the One” on May 9, 2011.

(CDX Vol. 522 / 4/25/2011 • PlayMpE--4/19/2011)

A tongue-in-cheek sales pitch from a male’s perspective (written by Tom McHugh and Jay Knowles), “I Could Be The One” is the ultimate “pick-up” song. The lyrics profess and confess: “I could be a rock-hard headed fool…hard to handle…I got a river-wide redneck streak...but I could be the one that’s the one for you...the arms…the heart…the one you could fall into…there ain’t no tellin’ what I could be…but I could be the one.” Whether a “too-much-tequila mistake” or a “heart’s big lucky break," the single lays the cards on the table to explore the “possibilities.” Peppered with rock guitar riffs, banjo pluckin’ and showcasing Templeton’s sexy-drawl vocals, this tune will be “the one” country radio fans request by name. "The story is about a guy who makes no bones about his imperfections—the flaws most of us guys have,” Templeton introduces. “As a matter of fact, he uses them with confidence to try to convince the gal that he could be ‘the one’ for her. “

The track comes from Templeton’s album entitled GT, his first studio recording (from Grammy award-winning producer/engineer Mark Lambert who has also worked on projects with Elton John, Willie Nelson, Ronnie Milsap, Trace Adkins and more) which features special guest performances by Leon Russell, who names Templeton as a contender: “I expect Glen Templeton to be the next major star in country music.”

Glen has been engaged in an aggressive radio promotion tour that will encompass 48 states. In the first leg of the campaign, he’s canvassed 20 states over the past five weeks (accompanied by reps Jamice Jennings and David Shaw) to visit with stations in Oklahoma, Colorado, Florida, Pennsylvania, Missouri and Arkansas including KUBL, WGAR, WIVK, WDSY, KYGO and KBEQ/KFKF.

“We are pleased and overwhelmed with the response,” label head Lance Combs explains. “We are truly encouraged by radio’s excitement.”

"Glen Templeton has got it all, the look, the sound and the song. He ‘could be the one!’ "

--Stoney Richards, APD/MD/Afternoons WDSY CBS Pittsburgh-Y108

Glen is signed with Buddy Lee Attractions for booking representation and has dates stacking up throughout the summer at major fairs and festivals as both a headliner and an opener for some of today’s biggest country stars. Hailing from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, his first big break came in 2008 when he was a “personal pick” by the family of the late Conway Twitty as the first choice to portray the legend in the national touring musical chronicling Twitty’s life.

Currently available for download via iTunes, “I Could Be The One” appears on Glen’s 10-song CD set for a mid to late summer release. The single will be available via all major digital outlets (including Rhapsody and Amazon) at release date on May 9, 2011.
