JUST A REMINDER ABOUT BUCKY COVINGTON'S SEPTEMBER 11 CD RELEASE OF "GOOD GUYS"

Just reminding y'all that Bucky Covington is preparing to release his long-awaited sophomore album GOOD GUYS on September 11, 2012. He and Shooter Jennings kick ass in the new duet “Drinking Side Of Country” and Bucky's friends Kellie Pickler, X-Games medalist Kenny Bartram and TNA wrestler Mickie James have cameos in the new video.  The video had an amazing debut, with more than 800,000 views within a 24-hour period and the numbers are climbing daily. These stats make the clip #1 on YouTube’s “Popular Around The Web” music chart and one of the Top Trending Videos overall.

Over the last year, Bucky has been working closely with a cause he deeply believes in, Help The Good Guys and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Charitable Foundation which support injured firefighters and burn victims. In the fall of 2011, Bucky dropped what we was doing and traveled on a minute's notice to Birmingham to take part in a fundraiser for injured fire fighter Brad Dean. Enough money was raised to allow the family to keep their house and decrease accumulating debt and medical bills. When Bucky saw firsthand how fire fighters risk everything to save others but don’t have anyone there for them when they're the victims, he was compelled to help. He continues to actively support the cause through fundraisers and hospital visits. Proceeds from the first week sales of his new record will be donated to the IAFF Charitable Fund.

Bucky’s new 12-song cd, GOOD GUYS, includes the raucous duet with Shooter Jennings, which Bucky co-wrote and produced. Other favorites include “Hold A Woman” and “Mama Must Be Prayin’.” Stay tuned for purchase information coming soon!

BUCKY COVINGTON AND SHOOTER JENNINGS DUET ON NEW SINGLE “DRINKING SIDE OF COUNTRY”

Nashville, TN…(July 16, 2012)…Country music star Bucky Covington recently got the chance to take a seat in the producer's chair when he went into the studio with Shooter Jennings to record the duet “Drinking Side Of Country." The new single, available on Bucky's upcoming sophomore album GOOD GUYS, due out September 11th, is an up-tempo party song written by Bucky with his twin brother Rocky Covington and lifelong friend Donald Medlock. The song delivers today to country radio via PlayMPE for immediate airplay.

“Getting to produce your own music rocks, but being able to say you produced Shooter Jennings just takes it to a whole other level.“ Covington remarked, “I am very proud of this song and can’t wait to share it with my fans!”

Bucky first recorded the song shortly after writing it in 2010 but thought it needed something extra… his friend and fellow musician Shooter Jennings. Covington and Jennings just shot the rowdy video for "Drinking Side Of Country" earlier this month in the tiny town of Greensburg, KY and the clip will be released in the coming weeks. The video is jam-packed with action including police chases, parties, and celebrity appearances by his friends Kellie Pickler, TNA Wrestler Mickie James, and Motocross Freestyler and X Games medalist Cowboy Kenny Bartram.
