Powerhouse vocalist Jackie Lee catapulted onto Country radio today (12/12) as his emotionally-charged new single “Getting Over You” scored 31 total adds, earning its position as a Top 3 most added song at U.S. Country radio this week. The Broken Bow Records artist wrote the introspective track alongside Brent Anderson and founding guitarist of platinum selling pop-rock group Boys Like Girls, Paul DiGiovanni.

On the heels of the single’s release, critical praise has been quick to pour in. Just last week, CMT named Jackie one of its “17 for 2017” LISTEN UP artists while Rolling Stone Country lauded that “Getting Over You” is “poised to be his breakthrough moment.” Additionally, Sounds Like Nashville applauded the game-changing single in its in-depth profile of the rising star HERE.

(Nashville, TN)~ Broken Bow Records’ rising star Jackie Lee received a standing ovation after making his Grand Ole Opry debut last Tuesday, Sept. 30, bringing the full room of country music fans to their feet- a rare occurrence for an Opry first-timer.

“That moment was so much greater than myself,” explains Jackie. “I was humbled to stand in the same circle as the legends that put the love of country music in my soul.”

Jackie performed three songs in the legendary hallowed circle, including his Most-Added debut single, “She Does,” the riveting ballad “First Girl” and crowd-pleaser “Driveway” for a sold-out audience on a bill that also featured Opry members Bill Anderson and Connie Smith, Brett Eldredge, Easton Corbin, country legend Marty Stuart and international superstars Rascal Flatts. Jackie’s entire family was in attendance for the special occasion, and his dad, Jack Midkiff, was able to share the experience alongside him playing keys on the performance.

The Broken Bow recording artist rounded out the monumental week by celebrating his 23rd birthday on Thursday, Oct. 2, making his Opry debut even more meaningful. Jackie has been busy crisscrossing the U.S. on his radio tour. He was recently lauded as a Billboard “Tomorrow’s Hits” artist.
