RICK MONROE SIGNS DEAL WITH McPHERSON GUITARS

Country Newcomer Set To Emcee Tour Which Will Feature Lee Brice

Lori Klenc (McPherson), John De Hoyos (Rick's guitarist), Rick Monroe
and Larry Klenc (McPherson)

World traveler, charity supporter and hard-rockin' country dynamo Rick Monroe has signed an endorsement agreement with McPherson Guitars.
Specializing in state-of-the-art, hand-crafted acoustic guitars, McPherson Guitars is headquartered in Sparta, Wisconsin.  "We choose only a limited amount of artists per year to join our family," says Larry Klenc, General Manager/Artist Relations, McPherson Guitars.  "Rick is a special talent with a long musical career ahead of him.  We're proud to add this talented artist to our team."

Having clocked thousands of miles on stages around the world, Monroe insists on playing only the instruments that are best suited to his sizzling live shows.  Now he has found what he was looking for.  "It's an honor to be part of the McPherson family," Monroe says.  "Some high-end guitars are compared to high-end cars like Maseratis or Bentleys.  But McPhersons are in a completely different league -- I'd say it's more like a G5.  The way it plays, the sustain and sound are unparalleled.  I look forward to making music with my amazing guitar."

Though relatively new to the national spotlight, Monroe has already made a sizable impact.  His current single, "Great Minds Drink Alike," is rising in both the Billboard Indicator and MusicRow charts.  And recently he was selected to the Jägermeister Presents: Lee Brice Country Concert Series as the brand ambassador and emcee for the seventh consecutive year; no other artist has enjoyed as long a run on the tour.  The multi-artist tour runs September 11 through October 24.

AARON LEWIS TO HEADLINE THE 2013 JÄGERMEISTER COUNTRY TOUR

New Rochelle, NY (April 9, 2013) — Jägermeister, a brand as deeply rooted in music as it is in mythology and lore, is proud to announce their 2013 Country Tour with music star Aaron Lewis. The tour kicks off May 1st with each show featuring special guest support acts including Jägermeister artist and emcee, Rick Monroe.

Jägermeister, the 7th largest selling premium spirit in the world and #1 selling imported liqueur in the United States, has a long history of supporting musicians of all genres, from local bands to national acts. The brand has spent almost two decades developing artists and has seen many go from obscurity to the top of their fields. Now in its fourth year, the Jägermeister Country Music Tour has featured some of the finest in country music including Pat Green, Eric Church and Dierks Bentley. “This tour is a great opportunity to work with Aaron and we are very excited to be a part of this new chapter of his career,” says Cliff Rigano, Director of Music Marketing for Jägermeister.

The seven-song EP reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200. Lewis finished the year with nominations from the Academy of Country Music for “Vocal Event of the Year,” as well as two CMT nominations for “Breakthrough Video of the Year” and “Collaborative Video of the Year.” Building upon the demand from his fans for a full-length solo album, Aaron Lewis proudly shares his country roots with the release of The Road, which hit stores on November 13, 2012, debuting in the Top 10 on Billboard Country Albums chart. His current single, “Forever” has broken into the Top 40 at radio, reaching #39 and still climbing. With seven studio albums released totaling sales over 15 million units throughout his 17 plus year career, country listeners will find a true work of art as Lewis honors traditional country, a genre the singer/songwriter was raised on as a child.

CONCERT REVIEW / *EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS* - JAGERMEISTER COUNTRY TOUR WITH RANDY HOUSER, RICK MONROE AND LATHAN MOORE AT CITY LIMITS SALOON RALEIGH, NC (6/29/12)

THE JAGERMEISTER COUNTRY TOUR
Venue: City Limits Saloon - Raleigh, NC
Date: June 29, 2012

The Jagermeister Country Tour rolled back into Raleigh on June 29 and this year was outstanding. What a lineup! The temperature may have been 107 degrees, but these boys brought the true heat. Country vocal powerhouse and one of music's best songwriters, Randy Houser, Render Records artist Rick Monroe and newcomer Lathan Moore took the stage and rocked the house until midnight. The show was fantastic! City Limits Saloon ALWAYS knows the artists that country fans want to see and they make it a party that everyone is invited to attend.

Lathan Moore opened the night. Honestly, I am not familiar with his music, although I do know his name and knew he had recently taken part in the Dukes of Dixieland cd with the Oak Ridge Boys. He put on a great show with a set consisting of himself and his guitar. Those are the sets I love the most. Lathan has very smooth vocals and a great stage presence. Pay attention to this guy,  you're gonna be hearing more from him soon!

One of our favorite new artists and friends, Rick Monroe, was the second performer of the night and MAN can he rock a stage! Wow! His set was very energetic, amped up and you could literally feel the speakers blowing your hair with every beat of the drums! Rick Monroe brings a quiet room to life, making people get off their feet and move. Check out his latest EP on iTunes along with his new single, "Crazy Not To".

Randy Houser ... where to even begin other than we've been waiting since February 2011 for him to make a return to City Limits. His shows are amazing! He heated things up with songs like "Whistlin' Dixie" and "Boots On" and then cooled it down to a sexy simmer with his hit "Anything Goes". He also covered "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd and in my opinion, sounded better than the original! Yes, I said it and I meant it. Pure raw vocal power, that's what Randy is. He sings it the way HE wants to sing it, sings what HE wants to sing and the crowd loves that about him. Randy is pure 100% unapologetic to the bone country.

GREAT SHOW!

Rick Monroe Releases New single, "Crazy Not To" to Retail and Radio with New 5 Track EP, "Part 1" Coming May 1st.

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) April 23, 2012

Country music sensation Rick Monroe  has released his new single, "Crazy Not To on Render Records. The single will be included on the artist's new 5 track EP entitled Part 1 which will hit retail May 1.

In related news, Monroe begins a new Jagermeister Presents Tour April 26th in support of Randy Houser. Rick is a country music road warrior who isn't opposed to taking his music directly to his fans, one venue at a time, one handshake at a time. This is Rick's fifth Jagermeister Tour.

Monroe's music videos have been seen on CMT and GAC and he's been profiled on shows including Access Hollywood, ET and Extra. He's opened for the likes of Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Josh Thompson Pat Green, Charlie Daniels, Dwight Yoakam and Montgomery Gentry. Rick's 2011 hit single release, "Get UR Country On" spawned a "Jagermeister Presents" Club tour of the same name.

Fans can hear and purchase the track on iTunes at:

Commenting on the 2012 Jagermeister tour with Randy Houser, Rick Monroe said, "I am absolutely thrilled to be on the road doing what I love to do best. We'll be out there in support of my new single 'Crazy Not To' so I look forward to performing that tune as well as all of the songs from my new Render Records EP -- Part 1 -- live in front of packed houses... and shaking hands with as many country music fans as possible."

No stranger to success, Rick's previous album "Get Loud Get Lit" launched the hit single Honky Tonk Road Trip which spawned a television reality series pilot of the same name. His 'Against the Grain' album featured the international hit single and video 'Midnight Rider'. After receiving rave reviews in print and numerous accolades on television shows such as EXTRA and ET, Rick's gritty Midnight Rider music video remains a huge fan favorite.

A true ambassador of the country music genre, Monroe was among the first country artists to perform in Russia and China. His extensive touring history includes performances throughout Russia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Hungary, Honduras, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Bahamas, Germany, England, Netherlands and Switzerland, sharing the stage with a who's who of musical greats. At the request of Pete Peterson, U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, Rick performed at the week-long 4th of July celebrations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Mihn City. Monroe was honored to sing the U.S. National Anthem for the 5-year anniversary of the re-opening of diplomatic relations between the countries. This marking the first time the anthem had been sung at a public event in Vietnam in over 25 years.

He followed that up with a Command Performance for the former President of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, on the USS Sequoia Presidential Yacht, Washington, DC. This lead to a trip to Russia where Monroe performed at several orphanages and was a featured performer on REN TV's Bulat Okudzhava Festival in Moscow, Russia.

Rick Monroe takes life experiences that we all share, the events that touch our hearts and creates music that speaks directly to the soul in each of us. Whether in an intimate setting accompanied only by his acoustic guitar, a good old honky-tonk, or on stage playing with his band to thousands at an outdoor festival halfway around the world, Rick strives to connect to his audiences. He is always a huge crowd pleaser.
