LUCAS HOGE'S "HEY CHRISTMAS" FEATURED IN NEW LIFETIME MOVIE "A COWBOY CHRISTMAS ROMANCE" STARRING JANA KRAMER - AIRS THIS WEEKEND

Lucas Hoge’s original holiday tune “Hey Christmas” will be featured in the new movie "A Cowboy Christmas Romance" starring actress and country artist Jana Kramer. The new film premieres on Lifetime Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central and will be available to stream the following day. The fun holiday gem was originally released on his 2021 Lucas Hoge 12.25 album.

In addition to Kramer, A Cowboy Christmas Romance stars Adam Senn, Mary-Margaret Humes, Cassie Randolph, Curt Mega, Bruce Thomas, Lisa Lee, and Max Ehrich. One week before Christmas, a huge business deal sends real estate “closer” Lexie Crenshaw (Kramer) back to a place she swore she’d never return: her hometown of Tubac, Arizona. Back on the range, Lexie must convince Coby Mason (Senn), a horse-whispering rancher, to part ways with his family's land, while navigating her relationship with the father (Thomas) and brothers she left behind, leading her to reconsider the life she gave up 10 years ago.

The movie follows the release of Hoge's beautiful rendition of “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas,” which is available now. Produced by Kent Wells (Dolly Parton), “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas” was released on Forge Entertainment via ONErpm.

Save/add "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas" HERE.

“For those who know me, know Christmas is my favorite time of the year and to have our songs in movies is always exciting,” said Lucas. “I hope these songs bring holiday cheer to a lot of people at a time where we really need it.”

The new single and movie cap off a busy year for Lucas. He released the hit single and video “Nowhere,” toured with Chapel Hart, headlined his own dates and organized the inaugural Belize Songwriter Festival.

Set at four beautiful resorts on stunning Hopkins Beach, Belize, Lucas created the event with friends Dwayne Hoving, Jen Carney, and branding guru Laura Lynn. The lineup featured 10 songwriters including Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member Paul Overstreet, Lindsay Ell, Craig Campbell, Phil Barton, Trent Tomlinson, Forest Glen Whitehead, and more. Operation Encore stepped in to help send military veteran singer/songwriter Tyree Woods to participate in the event. Next year’s event is set for May 17&18, 2024. Follow
www.belizesongwriterfestival.com for updates and to purchase tickets.

The avid outdoorsman returned last summer with season four of his wildly popular television series Hoge Wild. The Heartland Network recently picked up seasons one and two, and fans can catch episodes each weekend. Hoge is the creator and executive producer and shares his passion for wildlife conservation throughout the series, changing the narrative around the outdoor lifestyle.

SINGLE REVIEW: "I GOT THE BOY" - JANA KRAMER

SINGLE: "I Got the Boy"

Jana Kramer’s latest single is a poignant tribute to childhood love and her first kiss. He’s married and on his honeymoon now and she marvels at how he’s grown and reminisces on childhood memories; what growing up together was like. Kramer sings with such eloquent emotion, it makes one wonder what memories she’s tying to the song.

The Michigan native has said that it is about her very own high school sweetheart and one must wonder what he has thought of it, if he has heard it. Surely he sees the beauty in the childhood ruminations that Kramer has so articulately penned. This may very well be the best single she’s released to date, perhaps because of the emotion conveyed and story present. Nostalgia is so infrequently conveyed with such honest reverence, more often relegated to pictures hidden away in a closet or an errant Buzzfeed article of the ‘90’s. Were it more frequently utilized in this manner, such great writing would come of it. Such great stories that one would ache to hear again and again and again. It is said to be an autobiographical album, so if this is the kind of writing present the entire album as well as this single will flourish remarkably. If Jana Kramer keeps up this sort of genuine story-telling combined with striking vocals, there is no telling how far she will go. This should come with a disclaimer though: No drunk texting the ex, just no. Facebook stalking fine. Drunken “hey remember when were in love?” dials or texts, no. Trade phones with your best friend for the night, or leave your phone zipped up in your jacket or something. “I got the long hair, hot head, she got the cool and steady hand.” is an especially great line. It expresses the specific person and memories she has of him, a deeply personal thing that I’m glad she has shared with us.

SINGLE REVIEW: "LOVE" - JANA KRAMER

SINGLE REVIEW

The title of the Waylon Jennings song, Where Does Love Go asks us to ponder an almost esoteric question. The lyrics in the song “Something so real don't just disappear, If it goes away it must go somewhere” further exasperates this inquiry.

Enter Jana Kramer's song, Love. She sings optimistically about all the things that she believes in, but passionately wonders about the curious characteristics of love, such as, “love, I don't know where you ran off to.” However, the fitting climax are theses words, “But, love, love, love I still believe in you.” That my friends is the powerful answer to the question that came straight from the Hoss's mouth. Love is rooted in belief and faith.

Thank you Waylon for this soulful question and thank you Jana for your powerful answer. George Jones sang, “like the outlaw who walks through Jesse's dreams,” because Waylon's love was found in Jessi Coulter, I hope mine is found in my own wife. Happy Anniversary, Honey. I hope you still believe like Jana, “in wedding rings and bibles and the best walk you’ll ever take, Is walking down the aisle” I know that I do.

Make sure you do not miss the powerful, special and bonus love that is offered both in audio and video in Jana Kramer - "Love" (Official Music Video)
