The event is being produced by Media Farm Agency, the management team behind the @NashvilleTN Instagram, and will be hosted by country music personality and industry member Benji Chord.

“Nashville always seems to find a way to heal and come together after a tragedy,” says Matt Wilson, Founder of Media Farm Agency. “And music is a universal part of the healing process in our city. This benefit came together extremely fast, thanks to the help of our team and our great friends that wanted to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by the storm. We are so thankful for the artists who volunteered so quickly to help and donate their time and talent for such a worthy cause.”

JAY ALLEN RELEASES POWERFUL MUSIC VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE "NO PRAYER LIKE MAMA'S"

Jay Allen, has released a music video for his latest single, "No Prayer Like Mama's." The emotional video, directed by Tessa and Dustin Sturm and produced by Southern Pictures.

In the video, Jay is seen singing by an altar filled with candles and a picture of his mother, who passed away from Alzheimer’s in 2019. The heartwarming video features clips of mothers cheering on their children during tee-ball games and walking them down the aisle, depicting the unconditional love that a mother has for her children.

Written by Jay Allen and Justin Morgan, "No Prayer Like Mama's" is a tribute to the love and sacrifice of mothers. The song was born out of Allen's own experience of losing his mother to Alzheimer's disease and serves to honor the memory of all mothers who have dedicated their lives to their children, even in the face of adversity. The track is available across all streaming platforms here.

Jay comments, "That process was a difficult journey, but now I find strength in believing that my mom is still with me. I hope this song brings honor to both mothers in heaven and those still with us."

Growing up near Cedar Falls, Iowa, Allen was influenced by the music he heard from his father at rock concerts and his mother, who would sing country tunes on long car rides. Allen attributes his love for country music to his mother, ultimately leading him to move to Nashville in 2013. He signed a publishing deal in 2014 and an artist deal with SONY/ATV in 2016. With the release of “Sounds Good to Me” in 2017, Allen was selected as Sirius XM’s “The Highway Find.”

It was his 2018 hit “Blank Stares,” a powerful tribute to his mother, who suffered from early-onset Alzheimer’s, that first caught the attention of national audiences. The song went viral, reaching over 500 million views on Facebook, and showcased Allen’s raw talent and dedication to raising awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. As a result of his advocacy efforts, Allen has been involved with several international events, including the Rita Hayworth Gala, which has raised over $100 million for the Alzheimer’s Association and has received numerous accolades, including The Caregiver Award from the National Alzheimer’s Association.

Allen has also been recognized for his music. He was named Favorite Competition Contestant at the 2022 Country Now Awards and featured in Music Mayhem Magazine’s “2023 Artists to Watch.”

JAY ALLEN DROPS COVER OF ICONIC ROCK HIT BY THREE DOORS DOWN - "HERE WITHOUT YOU"

Singer-songwriter Jay Allen, who was a contestant on Season 22 of NBC's The Voice, has recently dropped a new cover of "Here Without You," a hit single by the iconic American rock band, 3 Doors Down. The track captures the emotional struggle of being apart from a loved one for an extended period of time, and the yearning to be reunited with them once more. Fans can now listen to Allen's rendition of "Here Without You" on all major streaming platforms here.

Allen spoke on his newly released cover, saying “Songs like this were the soundtrack to my high school and college years and are very nostalgic for me. I’m known for a cause and my heartfelt side, which I will always keep at the forefront, but I feel it’s time to start unveiling the other parts of me and how songs like this have inspired my artistry. I’m “what you see is what you get” — tattoos, all black, muscle, cars, loving life, and always seeking out a good time. I’m also very proud of the upbeat and energetic live show that I’ve cultivated on the road over the last 5 years. I figure, what better way to open the door to the “what’s next” for me than to cover one of my favorite songs by one of the greatest bands of all time.”

Jay Allen is known for his advocacy against Alzheimer's, a cause that is close to his heart after losing his mother to the disease. Now, he's ready to share more of his personal story. At 10 years old, he recalls his dad taking him to a Styx concert, ultimately leading to his love for rock n roll. During his teenage years, Allen became a fan of bands like Bush, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Matchbox Twenty. That era of alternative rock, intertwined with his and his mother's shared love for country music, led to Jay's unique sound that equally encompasses both genres. The unveiling of "what's next" for Allen is introduced now with his vocally powerful rendition of "Here Without You."

Back in July 2003, 3 Doors Down released "Here Without You," which climbed the charts to reach No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November of the same year. The song went on to earn double-platinum certification in the U.S. and enjoyed worldwide success, peaking at No. 2 in Australia and cracking the Top 10 in Denmark, New Zealand, and The Netherlands.
