CMA and ACM Award-winning singer/songwriter/producer Jon Pardi announced today his “Ain’t Always The Cowboy” tour named after his critically acclaimed song of the same name. The tour, presented by CASE Construction Equipment, is set to kick off in Irving, TX on July 14th and run through October 1 with a headlining show at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater. Tickets will be available to purchase HERE beginning March 4 at 10am local venue time.

“I’m really excited to take two great friends and great artists out as openers for the ‘Ain’t Always The Cowboy’ tour,” said Pardi. Additionally he shared with American Songwriter, “You get your buddies and put on a good show anywhere people will have you. Indeed, that’s what most heartens.”

Pardi broke the news in his American Songwriter February Issue Cover Story, where he opened up about his new single, “Last Night Lonely” and his upcoming tour with two of Nashville’s most respected women in country music - Lainey Wilson and Hailey Whitters. Whitters will not be on the last three shows of the tour. Pardi also discussed his new single-the first off of an upcoming project-“Last Night Lonely” in the Digital Cover story, telling American Songwriter “What I love most about music is the feelings. Platinum-selling artist Jon Pardi today announced his highly-anticipated new album, tour and single titled Heartache Medication, following his show-stopping performance on the season finale of "American Idol" with Idol winner Laine Hardy. Set for release on September 27, Pardi’s upcoming album, Heartache Medication, includes the album’s lead single and title track (set to impact country radio June 3 and available now). Co-written by Pardi, Barry Dean and Natalie Hemby, Pardi revealed the new single showcases a taste of what is to come on the next record exclusively to the Associated Press, noting “the songs lift you up. JON PARDI SETS MAY 19 RELEASE DATE FOR THE B-SIDES, 2011-2014

Three-Part Documentary, “Intro to the Pardi,” Available Exclusively on VEVO

While country music traditionalist Jon Pardi is working on his sophomore studio album, he is responding to fans’ demand for more music with his May 19 digital EP release, The B Sides, 2011-2014.

The B Sides features six previously unreleased tracks recorded for consideration for Pardi’s debut album, Write You A Song.  Although they did not make the final track listing for Write You A Song, hence The B Sides title, Pardi continues to play many of these songs in his live show. Fans have learned the lyrics over time and sing along, yet have not been able to personally own the tracks until now.

As he did with ten of the titles on his “Best of 2014”-named Write You A Song, Pardi co-produced and co-wrote all of the songs on The B Sides.

CMA CLOSEUP: NEW ARTIST SPOTLIGHT - JON PARDI

Saloon pianos clink, guitars crunch and fiddles, well, they fiddle throughout Write You a Song, Jon Pardi’s debut album on Capitol Records Nashville. And it fits together into a package that practically dares you not to get up and dance.

A lot of Pardi’s energy stems from days on the road and long nights on stages throughout his home state of California. He was already absorbing the spirit of real-world Country when he performed “Friends in Low Places” at age 7 for his father’s 30th birthday party. His first songs came at 12, his first band debuted two years later. The move to Nashville followed two restless years at Butte Junior College.

Apparently his experiences left Pardi unscarred. While there are no tears-in-my-beer blues here, that’s not to say he avoids introspective material. But even on the down-tempo “Love Hangs Around” (written by Pardi, Treat Summar and Odie Blackmon), you sense that it’s just a matter of time before the lyric’s two long-distance lovers enjoy a happy reunion.

Similarly, the rockin’ numbers have dimension. You’ll hear hardly a mention of trucks or cut-off jeans; instead, actual stories inhabit his down-home grooves. The title cut (Pardi, Bart Butler and Davy Ulbrich), as well as “Up All Night” (Pardi, Butler and Brett Beavers), showcase his fondness for melodies built on tight, repetitive motifs. The guy just sounds like he’s having a ball, and with his amiable drawl he’s inviting us all to join him.

The Tug McGraw Foundation to Hold First Celebrity Clay Shootout on June 5

The Tug McGraw Foundation will hold their first Celebrity Clay Shootout on June 5 at the Nashville Gun Club. The proceeds will benefit the organization and efforts to improve the lives of service members with brain injuries and post-traumatic stress. Participants include Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Craig Campbell, Troy Gentry, Josh Gracin, JT Hodges, Eddie Montgomery, Jon Pardi, Brad Warren,Brett Warren and 2011 National Sporting Clay Champion Bill McGuire. The event will include shooting, a barbecue lunch and a silent auction.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Tug McGraw Foundation and its efforts to improve the lives of military service members who have been affected by Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

The Tug McGraw Foundation Celebrity Sporting Clay Shootout will feature an exciting lineup of celebrities, all vying for a chance to be crowned Celebrity Sporting Clay Shootout champions.
