KIEFER SUTHERLAND’S ‘RECKLESS & ME’ OUT TODAY WITH ROCKIN' "SOMETHING YOU LOVE" VIDEO

ALBUM ARRIVES ON A WAVE OF PRAISE ALONG WITH OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR "SOMETHING YOU LOVE"

APPEARING ON CBS’ “THE TALK,” MAY 2, TO PERFORM “SOMETHING YOU LOVE”

TICKETS FOR U.S. TOUR ON SALE TODAY

Kiefer Sutherland’s sophomore album, the 10-song Reckless & Me, is out today (4/26) via BMG on an early wave of praise. The new album delivers Sutherland’s Americana and country rock-infused songwriting style and highlights his gift of soulful storytelling. On Thursday, May 2, fans can tune into “The Talk” on CBS to catch Sutherland and his band perform “Something You Love,” the album’s latest single.

Reckless & Me—which can be purchased and streamed here—holds beautifully arranged ballads and authentic country rockers such as the album’s lead single, “Open Road,” “This Is How It’s Done, and “Something You Love” – all delivered with Sutherland’s distinctive, whiskey-soaked and gravel-laced voice. Produced by Jude Cole, Reckless & Me marks the follow up to Sutherland’s critically acclaimed debut album, Down In A Hole (2016).

Earlier this week, Sutherland announced a run of U.S. tour dates. The tour will kick off in Austin, TX at 3Ten Austin City Limits Live on Wednesday, May 29 with additional stops confirmed for Fort Worth, TX, Kansas City, MO, Franklin, TN, Boston, MA and New York, NY, among others. The routing will also include a performance at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN on Friday, June 7 and an appearance at CMA Fest on Saturday, June 8 on the Budweiser Forever Country Stage. Tickets for all shows are on sale today (4/26) at 10:00am local time.

“Kiefer Sutherland is ready to show the music world how it's done.”
--Mitchell Peters, Billboard, March 9, 2019

“…a collection of freewheeling honky-tonk anthems that will speak to every outlaw soul…Reckless & Me standouts that embody the freedom that touring life provides include his current single ‘This Is How It’s Done,’ opener ‘Open Road’ and ‘Something You Love.’ His take on Patty Loveless’ ‘Blame it On Your Heart’ is irresistible, and ‘Agave’ offers a Bonnie-and-Clyde storyline that’s set south of the border with salsa undertones and blues-rock guitar riffs that make it sound like two songs in one.”
--Lauren Tingle, CMT, April 23, 2019

“Kiefer Sutherland has shared his anthemic new ‘Something You Love’…Springsteen-esque and hard-charging…”
--The Boot, March 22, 2019

“…his infectious brand of Americana/country-rock and his whiskey-soaked growl…produced by Jude Cole, Reckless & Mealso highlights Sutherland’s master storytelling ability, particularly on songs like ‘Something You Love,’ ‘Open Road’ and the locomotive-like ‘This Is How It’s Done.’ All of which lend themselves equally well to both the record and live performance.”
--James Wood, Guitar World, April 4, 2019

“Kiefer Sutherland proves he’s a storyteller with his new album Reckless & Me… Sutherland proves he’s a true artist with the ability to tell his story across multiple art forms in a compelling way.”
--Cillea Houghton, Sounds Like Nashville, April 23, 2019

KIEFER SUTHERLAND READIES NEW MUSIC AND NEW MANAGEMENT PARTNERSHIP

Kiefer Sutherland, whose “unexpected, unvarnished authenticity as a singer/songwriter” (Associated Press) and “edgy vocals blended with passion” (Rolling Stone), is joining The Fitzgerald Hartley Co. roster, in association with longtime manager and producer Jude Cole, for music management, and Adkins Publicity for music PR/Publicity representation. APA’s Steve Martin will continue overseeing North America and international live music booking.

Sutherland’s career as a touring and recording artist has catapulted him globally as a bonafide guitarist and vocalist. After the release of his “refreshingly honest country-rock album Down In A Hole, with the same lyrical well of lovelorn desperation as Waylon and Willie’s most soulful Outlaws moments” (Guitar Aficionado), Sutherland embarked on a SOLD-OUT North American and European tour.  He played more than 120 shows, including performances on the Grand Ole Opry, Stagecoach and Glastonbury Festival.

Reviewers across the globe continue to be impressed:

“He’s grizzled and passionate; a low rumble, as gravelly as it was authentic.”
-James Hall, The Telegraph

“The action star’s whiskey-sodden country music set is genuinely poignant. He puts other Hollywood hobby acts to shame.”
-Mark Beaumont, The Guardian

“All of the originals conveyed conviction and character. There wasn't a single dud or awkward lyric in the bunch. He didn't appear to be acting when he said he had been waiting a lifetime to play for a crowd like this one. Maybe being a country singer is the role Sutherland was born to play after all.”
-Piet Levy, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

As a singer/songwriter, Sutherland has performed on “The Talk,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “The View”  and graced the covers of Guitar Aficionado, Goldmine Magazine and Collectible Guitar issues. Sutherland’s cinematic “Shirley Jean” video, which tells the story of a man's last night on death row, taking the form of a goodbye letter to a woman he once loved, continues to captivate fans on music channels CMT and GAC.

KIEFER SUTHERLAND ADDS NEW CANADIAN DATES TO 2016 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

Not one for slowing down, Kiefer Sutherland will carry the momentum from his live shows to Canada this June, as he adds 11 new tour dates to his North American tour in support of his debut album, Down In A Hole, available this summer (release date to be announced). Click here to listen to “Not Enough Whiskey” - the debut track from the anticipated release.

So far, Sutherland has been on the road stateside this spring, entertaining audiences nationwide, and will wrap the first leg of his tour at the Grand Ole Opry May 31. He will kick off the second leg of his tour in Ontario June 16 and will wrap up the string of Canada dates with a performance in Quebec City June 30.

“There is something very satisfying about being able to look back on my own life, good times and bad, and express those sentiments in music,” Sutherland said of his performances. “As much as I have enjoyed the writing and recording process, I am experiencing great joy now being able to play these songs to a live audience, which was something I hadn’t counted on.” An official track listing and release date for Down In A Hole will be announced soon.
