Rob Thomas, Collective Soul, Melissa Etheridge, Amy Grant, Kenny Loggins, Sarah McLachlan, Brian McKnight, Styx, Gary Allan and More Featured in National TV Show

THE SONG – Recorded Live @ TGL Farms nationally syndicated television show launched in January 2020, and the star power, production and unique programming of the first two seasons made it must-see tv for music fans coast to coast. Production on Season III is complete, and the fast-paced show featuring intimate performances from some of music’s greatest stars and the iconic songs that launched and propelled their careers will premiere nationwide on January 8, 2022.

THE SONG’s new season features Rockers Collective Soul, Melissa Etheridge, Styx, and Rob Thomas, Pop songstresses Amy Grant and Sarah McLachlan, Soul singer Brian McKnight, Pop singer songwriter icon Kenny Loggins and Country star Gary Allan - all performing the songs that made them famous in this exciting weekly show reaching over 80 million households on 150 stations.

“We’ve been amazed week after week how viewers are connecting with these artists and their songs in this unique presentation,” said the show’s creator and Executive Producer Marc Oswald. “This new season is incredibly diverse and we can’t wait to kick off the new year with these legendary artists performing truly remarkable songs.”

The show is produced by Tupelo Honey and Oswald Entertainment Group, directed by renowned film and still photographer David “Doc” Abbott, written, edited and produced by Stephen Wallen and Scott Kono and booked by legendary talent producer Tisha Fein and talent coordinator Clay Myers. Gray Television is managing the syndication, led by Greg Conklin and George Johnson, predominantly on CBS, ABC, FOX and NBC affiliates including New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington DC, and Seattle.

Season III is hosted by Krista Marie and includes a combination of episodes produced at various locations in Music City and on the road. THE SONG crew traveled to a private estate in Sherman, CT to film two episodes with Rob Thomas. Kenny Loggins and Sarah McLachlan were both lensed in California, Loggins at The Alcazar Theatre in Carpinteria and McLachlan at Hotel del Coronado. Collective Soul’s episode was shot at Atlanta’s Buckhead Theatre, and Brian McKnight’s episode was captured across town at Terminal West. Gary Allan and Amy Grant’s episodes were shot at Nashville’s Analog at Hutton Hotel and Blackbird Studio, respectively, and Melissa Etheridge performed at the show’s home base, TGL Farms near Nashville Tennessee. To top it all off, the Styx episode was shot following the band’s performance at the beautiful new Hard Rock Casino in Cincinnati, Ohio.

“This is a massive undertaking, but we’re excited to continue to grow and develop this show,” said the show’s Executive Producer Cary Glotzer, CEO and Chief Content Officer of Tupelo Honey, a Gray Television Company.

Season I was filmed exclusively at TGL Farms and kicked off with such iconic stars as All-4-One, Big & Rich, CeeLo Green, Don McLean, Rick Springfield, Rome Ramirez featuring Dirty Heads, Travis Tritt, and Gretchen Wilson. Season II of THE SONG traveled coast to coast to visit Jason Mraz at the Mraz Family Farm, Pat Monahan and Train at Concannon Vineyard in Northern California, Jewel in the Colorado Rockies high above Telluride, Richard Marx on the beautiful cliffs of Malibu, Clint Black at Analog at Hutton Hotel Nashville and the Marleys at the world famous Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. Shooting wrapped where it all began, with Gavin DeGraw at TGL Farms outside Nashville, Tennessee.

The show is presented by Ally and brought to you by partnerships with Harley-Davidson, Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos, and powered by KICKER Performance Audio.

Earlier this year, THE SONG announced an exclusive partnership with Time Life to release live performances recorded exclusively for the show. CD REVIEW: "THE FARM, INC" - THE FARM, INC

Official Website: www.thefarmmusic.com
Twitter: @thefarmmusic

Don't let this name fool you, there's nothing "Old MacDonald" going on here. The Farm, Inc has come on headstrong and kicking (ok, so that might be a LITTLE Old MacDonald if he had a new horse on his farm that he was trying to saddle up). New fans wanna know where these guys have been hiding for so long and longtime fans already know. Truth is, they've been right under their nose the whole time.

Frontman Nick Hoffman has been playing sold out stadium shows for over 10 years as Kenny Chesney's fiddle player (or as we prefer to call him, "Fiddlemaster"), while Damien Horne has been entertaining Nashville audiences for years as a solo artist and member of Big and Rich's "Muzik Mafia" which is an informal group of musicians banded together to bring real music to the masses. The "family" includes Cory GiermanBig KennyJon NicholsonJohn RichGretchen WilsonJames OttoCowboy Troy, Damien, Pop/Rock Artist Rachel KiceShannon LawsonTwo-Foot FredShanna CrooksSpoken Word Jen "SWJ" and honorary member, John Anderson. Damien has also collaborated with such well known artists as Bon Jovi, Kid Rock, John Legend, Hank Williams Jr and more. Krista Marie, the bad ass, hair tossing, powerhouse vocalist and founder of The Farm, Inc is an ATV motocross racer who was involved in a bad crash in 2008. Her song, "Drive It Like You Stole It" was the ESPN 2009 NHRA drag racing theme. She broke onto the country charts with "Jeep" and "Tomboy". You bring these three talented names together and you have a group destined for stardom with a rare talent that explodes in every note, every live performance and harmonize tighter than Luke Bryan's skinny jeans.Their stage show is phenomenal, extremely high energy from first note to last, and leaves an audience wanting more.

This debut cd is top to bottom, start to finish, honestly good music. There are no "filler, fluffernutter, take up space" garbage songs on here. What you will find is music that makes you feel good, music that makes you want to sing along and songs that work together to showcase this amazing group of voices.

The first track on the cd is just what it says, a "Farm Party". Is it a little cheesy that they used the band name in the title? Maybe a little, but the song itself is an amped up party song, makes you wanna throw some kinda party and dance on a bar. This band IS a Farm Party. Being co-written by one of country's hardest rockin' women, Bridgette Tatum ("She's Country" - Jason Aldean), it's no wonder this song's so full of energy and enthusiasm. Track two, "Home Sweet Home" is the first single released from the cd. It debuted on the charts at #54 and is a fan favorite on country music televison. The single was written by the three band members and superstar writer, Danny Myrick and included pretty vivid imagery and details throughout the song about "mama's home cookin' and sweet magnolia trees". Being a southern girl, these two things immediately make me wanna go home sweet home. Another song getting rave reviews from fans is "Be Grateful", which is something we all need to be reminded of and this song sends that message straight home. The remainder of the cd is nothing to  turn your nose up at, nothing but good stuff with my personal favorite track, "That 100 Miles" included. The harmonies on this musical story of looking back and love left behind are amazing. I personally hit repeat no less than 10 times and sing it at the top of my really off key lungs every time. What a great song. The entire track listing for the cd is shown below.

1. Farm Party 3:17
2. Home Sweet Home 4:05
3. Sweet Sweet Sunshine 3:46
4. Be Grateful 4:06
5. Nowhere Road 3:29
6. Fresh Off The Farm 3:22
7. Little Boat 3:31
8. That 100 Miles 4:18
9. Every Time I Fall In Love 3:41
10. The Train I'm On 3:25
11. Walkin' 5:36

Treat your musical tastebuds to all this band has to offer. Do them and yourself a favor and purchase this one. The cd is available on iTunes and Amazon.

VIDEO: THE FARM PERFORMS "HOME SWEET HOME" AT CITY LIMITS SALOON RALEIGH, NC ON MAY 18, 2012

If you aren't familiar with The Farm, then get acquainted because you're gonna hear ALOT more out of this group. Comprised of three amazing artists, there is more true natural talent in this trio than you hear in any Nashville venue on a given night. The Farm consists of Nick Hoffman, fiddle player for Kenny Chesney, Damien Horne who is one of Nashville's favorite singer/songwriters and original member of the Muzik Mafia and bombshell with a kick ass attitude and vocals of an angel, Krista Marie. Their stage show is unbelieveable, energetic from beginning to end and the way these three interact keeps the crowd on their feet and crazy loud!

Check them out performing their first single, "Home Sweet Home" at Raleigh, NC's City Limits Saloon this past Friday, May 18, 2012. Outstanding! Keep requesting and downloading their music!
