INDEPENDENT ARTIST MATT GARY RELEASES MANTRA SINGLE “BEAUTIFUL LIFE”
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 22, 2011) –
Matt Gary, of 17 Music Entertainment, has introduced his new single entitled "Beautiful Life."
Impacting radio on September 26, 2011 [PlayMPE (9/14/11)], the tune reveals its message with an upbeat melody featuring quick-picking guitars and steady, galloping percussion. The lyrics express optimism in even the toughest times; sure to bring the smallest troubles into perspective.
“As human beings, we often become fixated on the negative and long for materialistic things. We forget the real value of life,” Matt explains. “I think it’s so important to keep a positive outlook and ‘Beautiful Life’ is really how I try to ‘wake up’ every morning and my call for others to appreciate what they have. Despite the little trials and tribulations of everyday, we’re lucky for everything we have, namely those who care for us most. Musically, the upbeat, contemporary country sound helps to bring the tune to ‘life!’”
Penned by Frank Myers, Gary Baker and Nicky Chinn, “Beautiful Life” appears on Matt Gary’s self-titled CD and will be available for download via all major internet retail outlets (iTunes/Amazon/Rhapsody) in the coming weeks.
Matt is currently on tour to promote the single to country radio; Quarterback Records heads up the radio promotion efforts.
Matt made his formal introduction to Music City executives, country radio and its listeners in February 2009 with his debut single “The Days You Live For,” followed by “I’m Just Sayin’;” Matt’s received attention not only from country radio and music enthusiasts across the country, but has also appeared in Country Weekly, CMA Close-Up, and Nashville Lifestyles magazines.
Matt Gary's debut 6-Pack is available at all major digital retailers now!

17 MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT’S MATT GARY SIGNS WITH ETTINGER TALENT ASSOCIATES FOR MANAGEMENT
Preps For New Single Release
Left to Right: Kelly Symone (WC Regional Quarterback, Mac Daniels (PD, KSKS), Matt Gary & Jody Jo Mize (MD, KSKS)
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 9, 2011)—17 Music Entertainment’s own Matt Gary, has signed with Ettinger Talent Associates (ETA) for management representation. Under the personal direction of country music entertainment veteran, John Ettinger, ETA will exclusively oversee Gary’s day-to-day activity as well as spearhead potential sponsorships, special appearances and future recording plans. The alliance with ETA comes next in line of major milestones for Gary who made his entry into the country music scene official with the launch of his own independent label, 17 Music Entertainment, in 2009.
In the short period of time, Matt Gary has made the grade with the media, country radio and its fans.He was named "Who New To Watch" (CMA Close-Up Magazine) in 2009, earned the “DISCovery Award” from music critic Robert K. Oermann/Music Row Magazine, has graced the pages of Country Weekly's"Listen Up!" and "Who's New" and was featured in Nashville Lifestyles’ “Single in the City” (2010). The renowned digital outlet, Microsoft Corporation, selected Gary’s “I’m Just Sayin’,” to appear in Microsoft’s worldwide awareness campaign (introduced early this summer) geared toward Zune, smart phones and PCs. As a featured artist, Matt’s single, “I’m Just Sayin’” and corresponding album graphics are pre-loaded and showcased on select Microsoft demonstration devices for the consumer and potential purchaser to enjoy in stores.
Gary has performed at NASCAR events and before audiences of more than 125,000 at fairs and festivals; he has secured sponsorship/endorsement relationships with PING Apparel, Boulder Creek Guitar and Copley. Gary has also made three consecutive appearances at CMA Fest and Country Radio Seminar and has visited with more than 100 radio stations across the U.S. over the last 24 months.
Matt Gary released his debut single entitled “The Days You Live For" and corresponding music video in April 2009 and followed with “I’m Just Sayin’” in November 2010. His CD 6-Pack by the same name is available via all major Internet retail outlets.
"The partnership with John Ettinger and his team at ETA is a very important part of the equation and our overall goals for the future," said Gary. "Over the past two years, we've made great strides, as an ‘independent contender,’ with our friends at radio, the media and with the fans. ETA will bring our efforts and momentum to a whole new level and I’m excited to see where we are headed.”
John Ettinger’s reputation in Nashville and throughout Country radio is unrivaled. With a remarkable resume as VP of Promotion at Mercury Records, and then at Lyric Street (working alongside Rascal Flatts), he was responsible for the successes of artists such as Sugarland, Shania Twain, Billy Currington and Love & Theft. Ettinger opened the ETA doors in September of last year, managing award-winning group Emerson Drive. The newly established partnership brings years of expertise to the 17 Music Entertainment team.
"Matt Gary represents the heart of country music," said Ettinger. "He is the kind of artist the fans are calling for. A great singer, who is wholesome and family-oriented, he surprises me every day with his ability to deliver a meaningful message with awesome vocals."
Matt Gary/17 Music Entertainment also has working relationships with Conway Entertainment Group, Quarterback Records, Meade Entertainment Group and Music City Media.
Gary is set to release "Beautiful Life," (from the CD 6-Pack I’M JUST SAYIN’) in August and continues his summer radio tour. He is one of the 36 artists scheduled to perform at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in September as part of the Heroes Music Festival 9/11 honorary celebration.

NASHVILLE, Tenn (July 6, 2011)—Matt Gary continues his race to be a top contender on the country music chart. Currently on radio tour in support of his second single, “I’m Just Sayin” Matt is traveling from coast to coast and places in between this summer as part of his aggressive radio promotion campaign (headed by Quarterback Records).
An event to remember is Gary’s a cappella performance of the national anthem where he set the pace to green flag the NASCAR STP 400 at the Kansas Speedway in his hometown of Kansas City, Kansas. Celebrating the race, Matt spent time with some of the biggest names in racing, including greats Richard Petty and Tony Stewart.
His itinerary then took him to Washington state, where he made a pit stop to visit with the crew at KMPS in Seattle.
Down the road, he’s scheduled to perform at a radio show for WBTU in South Bend, Indiana on July 17, 2011 where he will play selections from his I’M JUST SAYIN’6-Pack.

17 MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT’S MATT GARY TAPPED TO PERFORM ANTHEM AT NASCAR’S STP 400 IN JUNE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Single Makes The Grade For iTunes/CMA Fest Download And Microsoft Demo
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 31, 2011)--Matt Gary (17 Music Entertainment), the talented Nashville-based performer who’s making the grade with country radio and country music fans alike, has three new notches to add to his belt of recognition.
In the midst of his aggressive radio tour to promote his current single, “I’m Just Sayin’,” Matt received the invitation to perform at a NASCAR race in June. The young singer whose hometown roots run deep in the heart of Kansas will sing the National Anthem a cappella at the NASCAR STP 400 at the Kansas Speedway on Sunday, June 5, 2011. The televised performance will begin at 1PM Central. This will be Matt’s first live performance of our nation’s song and, admittedly, the entertainer’s most difficult.
“I’m thrilled by the invitation,“ Matt said. “But, it’s kind of bittersweet. There is a lot of pressure not only to do it justice, but also to ‘get it right,’ because everyone knows it! This is not just a performance for me, it’s a performance of a lifetime—one that will be recalled by me and the millions watching!”
The trip to the Kansas Speedway will lead-in to Matt’s CMA Fest-2011 schedule in Nashville and is a reprieve from his aggressive radio promotion tour. Over the course of the last nine weeks, Matt has visited stations in 20-plus states including Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, California, Utah, Nevada, Texas and more making personal introductions to those who play his single.
Penned by Frank Myers, Gary B. Baker and Billy Montana, “I’m Just Sayin’” appears on Matt Gary’s six-pack, by the same name, which was released in November 2010. The cut was selected to appear on the official iTunes CMA Fest download sampler (2011). In recent festival years, iTunes street teams have assembled to hand out the download cards during “country music’s biggest week” offering free downloads from the country artists participating in the event. This year, 40,000 cards will be distributed over the course of the four-day event. Matt and the other sampler artists will also be featured on a dedicated iTunes page that will highlight I’M JUST SAYIN,’ his 6-pack CD release, along with “I’m Just Sayin’.”
Another renowned digital outlet has welcomed Matt’s music; Microsoft Corporation has selected the newcomer’s current single for its upcoming demonstration promotion. Matt’s, “I’m Just Sayin’,” is one of the ten country song selections chosen to be featured in Microsoft’s worldwide awareness campaigns geared toward Zune, smart phones and PCs. As a featured artist, Matt’s single, “I’m Just Sayin’” and corresponding album graphics will be pre-loaded and showcased on select Microsoft demonstration devices for the consumer and potential purchaser to enjoy in stores. The Microsoft promotion will begin this summer.
