First Country Artist to Ink Representation Deal with the Full-Service Sports Marketing Agency

Nashville, Tenn. (October 14, 2013) — Country music recording artist Matt Stillwell and Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) have announced a partnership that will help drive growth and innovation in the area of corporate sponsorship and branding. Stillwell is the first music client signed to the KHI roster primarily consisting of auto racing and professional athlete management. Under the agreement, KHI plans to use their extensive experience through their NASCAR relationships and cohesively extend them into the country music genre.

KHI, co-owned by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kevin Harvick and his wife, DeLana, is renowned in the motor sports world not only for its on-track success, but also for its efficacious and innovative sponsorship relationships. In its NASCAR operations, the company has demonstrated expertise in marketing through sponsor activation, sales and promotion, event management, advertising and public relations. More recently, KHI transferred its primary concentration to athletes and sponsors in and out of the auto racing industry, including Harvick, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone (MMA,) Jeff Burton (NASCAR,) and Jason Gore (PGA.)

“I had the opportunity to meet Matt at one of our Foundation events last year and really enjoyed his music,” said Harvick. “He has a passion for country music that can be seen both on and off the stage, which is why we are very happy to have the opportunity to work with him.”

Matt Stillwell broke into the country music scene with his single “Shine” debuting at #25 on iTunes country chart and the accompanying music video reaching #5 on CMT Pure and breaking into the Top 10 on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown. Stillwell has been touring in his custom wrapped bus called "The Mule" across the country headlining his own shows, as well as opening for country superstars such as Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Gloriana, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and performing at huge music festivals like Country Thunder. Matt Stillwell Finds Out That Things Fall Apart So Better Things Can Fall Into Place

Matt Stillwell and his longtime girlfriend, Lindsey Crawford, were sitting on his broken down bus in Las Vegas in the middle of a radio tour when spontaneity took over and they decided to get married! The couple exchanged vows on March 22 at the Vegas Wedding Chapel. The reception consisted of the basics, fried chicken from KFC and a tank of gas at the Pilot/Flying J. Matt Stillwell's Tour Bus Becomes a Victim of the Kentucky Tornadoes

Matt Stillwell's tour bus sustained serious damage from tornadoes that touched down in East Bernstadt, KY this past Friday, March 2, 2012. Thankfully the bus was in the process of being serviced and Matt and his band were not in the immediate area during the bad weather. The damage total for the bus has not yet been determined.
