TIFFANY WOYS SET TO MAKE NATIONAL TV DEBUT PERFORMING “THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER” AT NASCAR CUP SERIES PLAYOFF RACE ON SEPTEMBER 5

Rising country vocalist Tiffany Woys is set to make her national television debut performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the NASCAR Cup Series playoff race on September 5. The Cookout Southern 500 race and the National Anthem will air live from Darlington Raceway in South Carolina starting at 6 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network, Motor Racing Network and streaming via NBCSports.com. The moment is full circle for Woys, who performed the anthem at numerous events on the West Coast before making the move to Nashville to continue her musical career.

“I was four when I first heard LeAnn Rimes sing the national anthem,” shares Woys. “It was that moment that inspired me to start performing, and I would sing the anthem on repeat over and over again. Wherever I would go that would allow me to sing the national anthem, I would get on stage and do it!”

Woys is excited to continue her musical journey with the brand new song, “About Love.” Written by Jason Saenz, Sara Haze and Sam Ellis, the track will be out on September 10. Fans can pre-save now at https://smarturl.it/tw_aboutloveps. The brand new music follows a duo of releases earlier this year, including radio hits “Do Ya” and “I Don’t,” the latter a duet with Jordan Fletcher. Both songs made noise on Billboard’s Country Indicator chart.

“’About Love’ is all about trying to convey the feeling of love with things and events you can actually describe,” says Woys. “This song is about feeling a love so great and trying to find a way to make someone feel that great love.”

Named a Taste of Country Artist to Watch and a CMT “Next Up Now” artist, Tiffany Woys grew up being influenced by powerhouse vocalists such as LeAnn Rimes, Faith Hill, Celine Dion, Michael Jackson and Carrie Underwood. As a child, she’d look for any opportunity to get up and sing in front of people, and by the time she hit 20, she was recording an independent album and hitting the road. After honing her stage presence by performing relentlessly at venues and events up and down the West Coast, often for more than three hours at a time, she followed her dreams to Nashville. In the short three years that she’s called Tennessee home, Woys has already recorded songs from some of Nashville’s most prolific songwriters, like Mickey Guyton, Emily Shackelton, Shane McAnally, Trevor Rosen, Nathan Chapman, Chris Dubois and more. She followed up her 2019 debut EP, Tiffany Woys, with songs “Hostage,” "Loved By You,” “Do Ya” and “I Don’t,” all making their mark on Billboard’s National Country Radio Indicator Chart.

JAY DEMARCUS ANNOUNCES RED STREET RECORDS SPONSORSHIP OF NASCAR DRIVER NATALIE DECKER

2-Time GRAMMY Winner Jason Crabb Featured on Hood During Daytona Xfinity Series Race February 20, 2021

Red Street Records – owned by Rascal Flatts’ member Jay DeMarcus – is proud to announce the label’s sponsorship of Natalie Decker as she joins RSS Racing, managed by Reaume Brothers Racing, for five races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. This is a historic partnership – the first time a Christian music label has sponsored a NASCAR driver

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Team Decker,” said Jay DeMarcus, owner of Red Street Records. “Natalie is on the cutting edge of the racing industry; her meteoric rise continues to be amazing and unprecedented! She is the next generation. We here at Red Street view our journey in much the same way: innovation, and “outside the box” thinking, have set us apart, in the same way that Natalie has been set apart as one of NASCAR’s youngest female drivers in history. That makes Team Decker and Red Street Records the perfect combination!”

"I echo what Jay has expressed: we are beyond excited to work with Natalie and Team Decker,” said Mark Lusk President/General Manager of Red Street Records. “Her heart, drive and passion resonate so strongly with our team and we fully expect this to be a winning combination! LET’S RACE!"

Also unveiled was the design of the car, with 2-time GRAMMY winner Jason Crabb – a Red Street Records artist – showcased on the hood of the car promoting his new single, “Just As I Am.”

“Natalie Decker proves that with God-given talent and determination, you can achieve your dreams,” said Jason Crabb. “To be included in Red Street Records’ sponsorship of Natalie and her team during the NASCAR Xfinity Series is just awesome – start your engines!”

RSS Racing’s Natalie Decker will be running the #23 Chevy Camaro for five races to start the year, which will be managed by Reaume Brothers Racing once again. Natalie will be making her NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at the Daytona Road Course and is proud to reveal her new partnership with Red Street Records, who will be her primary sponsor.

Josh Reaume, owner of Reaume Brothers Racing, is excited about the partnership, commenting: “As a team, we have been able to help a lot of drivers make their debut into the NASCAR trucks Series, and now we have the ability to do that with the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Having Natalie make her Xfinity debut at the Daytona Road Course is another exciting step for this team and the direction we are heading. We had some strong runs with Myatt Snider at the road courses last year and we are confident Natalie will do a great job at the Daytona road course to kick off the 2021 season.”

“First, I have to say thank you, thank you to all my fans that support me and show me so much love! I love you all!," exclaimed Natalie Decker. "Thank you to Todd DiBenedetto for connecting Natalie Decker LLC and Red Street Records. Thank you, Red Street Records, for believing in me and wanting to be part of this Journey with me. Our first race is the Daytona road course, and I could not be any happier, we have Jason Crabb and his new single on the hood of the car. This song is so meaningful to me and the inspiration I get from Jason when I hear this song is unbelievable! I’m excited for this journey and I’m so happy I finally get to share it with all of you!”

Natalie Decker has made significant strides in the last few years racing in the ARCA series and most recently in the NCWTS – where she became the highest finishing female in the NASCAR Truck Series, finishing 5th at Daytona in 2020. With Natalie’s enormous talent, coupled with RSS’s strong fleet of vehicles, the team is looking to give Decker the equipment needed to show off her racing skills.

TANYA TUCKER TO PERFORM BOJANGLES' SOUTHERN 500 NATIONAL ANTHEM

Tucker's performance, teamed with Grand Funk Railroad concert, make Darlington Raceway's pre-race ceremonies a nostalgic celebration of the early 70's

Joining in Darlington Raceway’s celebration of the early 1970’s during its Labor Day weekend events, will be country music legend Tanya Tucker, who will perform the National Anthem for the Bojangles’ Southern 500 on Sept. 6.

Tucker, a longtime Nashville recording artist, will sing the Star-Spangled Banner live on NBC.

“We are excited to have country music icon Tanya Tucker perform our National Anthem for the Bojangles’ Southern 500,” track President Chip Wile said. “Tanya Tucker has been a mainstay in Nashville since the early 1970’s. Her rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner will be a can’t-miss for our great race fans.”

For four decades, Tucker’s sultry voice and vivacious stage presence has helped to make her one of the most admired and respected female vocalists in the country music genre.

Part of that appeal lies in the fact that her resume contains some of the most groundbreaking songs of the format’s history. Songs like Alex Harvey’s Delta Dawn, Dallas Frazier’s What’s Your Mama’s Name and David Allan Coe’s Would You Lay With Me (In A Field Of Stone) firmly established Tanya Tucker as an artist from whom you could always expect the unexpected. Her early hits also contained some kick-up-your-heels moments, like Texas (When I Die), San Antonio Stroll, and Here’s Some Love.

And, the best is yet to come for this future Country Music Hall of Fame member. With a new album forthcoming, the powerhouse vocalist is set to remind listeners just why artists such as Miranda Lambert and Gretchen Wilson consider her to be one of their biggest influences. She’s lived a life full of love and heartbreak, and bounced back no matter the odds. In the crazy world of the music business, Tanya Tucker defines the word “legend,” but also “survivor.”

Tucker’s anthem performance adds yet another element to an already exciting 1970’s-style pre-race. She will join legendary rock band Grand Funk Railroad, who will be performing the pre-race concert for the 66th running of the Bojangles’ Southern 500.

Fans have the exclusive opportunity to watch the Grand Funk Railroad concert from the front of the pre-race stage. In addition to the purchase of a Bojangles’ Southern 500 grandstand ticket, a pre-race access pass may be purchased for an additional $45. This pass will not only give fans stage front access for the concert, but will also include an up close view of the Sprint Cup Series drivers as they are introduced to the crowd.

Get all the latest on Tanya Tucker, by visiting her on Facebook.com/TheTanyaTucker, or on Twitter @Tanya_Tucker. She is currently on tour through CTK Management.

The Tradition Returns to Labor Day weekend as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Bojangles’ Southern 500® is set for Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015. The NASCAR XFINITY Series VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200 will race on Saturday, Sept. 5. Tickets are on sale now by calling 866-459-7223 or visiting www.DarlingtonRaceway.com.
