PRESS RELEASE

(Nashville, Tenn. – Jan. 22, 2015) – Country artist Jon Wolfe will release his much anticipated album, Natural Man, on March 31.

Natural Man, produced by Wolfe, Lex Lipsitz and Billy Decker and recorded at Nashville’s Westwood Studios and Ronnie’s Place, is a 13-track collection of songs that merges Wolfe’s signature traditional sound, influenced by some of Country music’s greatest legends, including George Strait, Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Dwight Yoakam, with an edgy, modern energy.

Wolfe describes the album as a personal journey, saying, “Natural Man is a concept that I have wanted to record for a few years. This album stretches me as an artist and as a vocalist, while staying true to who I am. I have known how I wanted it to sound, and how I wanted it to look for some time now. I’ve been visualizing this album for such a long time, and it feels great to finally bring it to life!”

Fans can preview Natural Man on its pre-sale date of March 3 through iTunes, Amazon and other major digital retailers.

Natural Man Track Listing and Songwriters:

1. If You’re Lonely Too (Jimmy Yeary / Ben Hayslip / Wyatt Durrette)
2. That’s What I’m Talkin’ About (Tom Shapiro / Jacob Powell / Michael Carter)
3. Smile On Mine (Dallas Davidson / Ben Hayslip / Rhett Akins)
4. It Just Feels Right (Jon Pardi / Bart Butler / Jeremy Spillman)
5. What Are You Doin’ Right Now (Ashley Gorley / Rodney Clawson / Wade Kirby)
6. Don’t It Feel Good (Deric Ruttan / Jonathan Singleton)
7. She Beats All I’ve Ever Seen (James Dean Hicks / Brett Jones / Jason Allen)
8. Singin’ Thing (Jon Wolfe / Tim Johnson / James Dean Hicks)
9. Natural Man (Brett Jones)
10. Outrun Her Memory (Jayce Hein / Thomas Tillman / Stephen Pasch / Kim Tribble)
11. I’m Doin’ Alright (Jon Wolfe / Billy Crain / Adrienne Follese)
12. Married to Nothin’ (Casey Beathard / Kenneth Wright / Shane Minor)
13. When I Get To Heaven (Pat Alger / Chris Cavanaugh)

Leadoff single, “Smile On Mine” hits radio in late January and be available for download on iTunes, Amazon and other major digital retailers on Feb. 3, 2015. The up-beat tune features Wolfe’s familiar traditional sound while showcasing a new modern flair. With its catchy hook and foot-tapping melody, “Smile On Mine” tells the story of budding romance on a first date.

Of the new single, Wolfe comments, “My new single “Smile On Mine” really clicked with me the first time I heard it. It represents this important bridge between traditional country and the more edgy, modern melodies we're hearing on the radio these days. That's what I feel like my whole new album is doing - I'm staying true to my roots and my traditional voice, but also growing and adapting with the times. I think my fans are going to love it!”

From his native small town in Miami, Oklahoma to the bustling Texas dancehalls and honky-tonks; Wolfe’s music has been burning up the Texas Charts where he garnered six consecutive Top Ten singles  (“Let A Country Boy Love You,” “That Girl In Texas,” “I Don’t Dance,” “It All Happened In A Honky Tonk,” “The Only Time You Call” and “What Are You Doin’ Right Now”), making Wolfe a “must see” act in the Texas touring scene.

His 2010 release, It All Happened In A Honky Tonk, became such a regional success that it was re-released as a Deluxe Edition by Warner Music Nashville in 2013. The album debuted at #34 on the Billboard Album Chart and has collectively sold 25,000 units.

A seasoned performer, Wolfe has opened for some of Country’s biggest stars and has played more than 400 live shows over the past four years. He has a busy 2015 tour schedule on the horizon. Details surrounding the forthcoming tour will be released in the coming weeks.

NEW MUSIC TUESDAY: THIS WEEK'S NEW RELEASES / PICKS OF THE WEEK

It's New Music Tuesday and we had quite a few new releases handed to us today from new artists who have been on the scene for awhile, big names and some that are so new to us that we didn't even know who they were but we like 'em and thought we'd pass them on to you. If you should purchase any of these on iTunes or Amazon, please don't forget to leave a review! This helps the artist more than you realize.

HOT PICKS OF THE WEEK:
"I Wish I Still Smoked Cigarettes", the new single by @RonnieDunn ... https://itun.es/us/gg9ES

This song has meaning, depth and smokin' vocals. (no pun intended ... who am I kidding, pun was totally intended on that). Ronnie Dunn brings back the song with a message and that's exactly what we need in this genre right now. Thank you Ronnie.  (and no, the song is NOT about actually smoking cigarettes.)

"Get Some", the debut EP from @Blackjack_Billy ... https://itun.es/us/ub4_R

This EP is just 100% fun. Blackjack Billy isn't trying to be something they're not, they're not claiming to be this or that. What they do is just play their own style of music and "make your tushy move". Their debut single, "The Booze Cruise" was a big hit on Sirius XM's "The Highway" and made a big splash with listeners who just want music that makes them feel good. I love these guys and absolutely love this EP. Is it tradition?

Other great releases today include:

"Whiskey & Lace", the debut cd by @KrystalKeith  *PRE-ORDER*

"Rescue You", the new EP by @HighValley

"When I Get My Pay", the new cd by @TheGrascals

"Why God Made Love Songs", the new single by @JoelCrouse

"These Days", the new single by @SundyBest

"Something in the Water", the new E.P. by The John King Band

"Branch and Dean", the new cd from @BranchandDean

CHRIS JANSON RELEASES SELF-TITLED EP TO ALL DIGITAL RETAILERS TODAY (9/3)

Hot New Single “Cut Me Some Slack” To Hit Country Radio Next Week

NASHVILLE, TN (September 3, 2013) – Country music newcomer Chris Janson releases his debut self-titled EP to all digital retailers today (9/3) via Bigger Picture Group. Produced by Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band), the five-song project features the dynamic multi-instrumentalist’s brand new single “Cut Me Some Slack” and Top 40 hit “Better I Don’t.”

“I’m thrilled to get new music to the country fans,” says Chris Janson. “All of the songs on the EP are autobiographical and these are such fun stories for me to share!”

“Cut Me Some Slack” exclusively premiered on SiruisXM’s The Highway and debuted in the Top 100 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The catchy song will hit Country radio stations nationwide next week.

The talented songwriter, who has already scored cuts with artists such as Tim McGraw (“Truck Yeah”) and Justin Moore (“Off The Beaten Path”), wrote or co-wrote all of the songs featured on the EP.

Since releasing “Better I Don’t,” Janson has been gaining attention nationwide from media and fans alike. Most recently, he garnered great ink in Nashville Lifestyle’s “The Hot List” issue and Billboard’s “The Next Wave in Country Rock” feature. With undeniable charisma, he brings a blue-collar, working-class, boot-stomping hillbilly redneck attitude to bear on every live performance, earning him opening slots for music legends Merle Haggard and Hank Williams Jr. as well as regular appearances on the Grand Ole Opry.

He began writing at just 18 with an impressive group of musicians from the likes of Guns N' Roses to Bill Anderson. The Perryville, Missouri, native first broke onto the Nashville music scene when he landed a year long, four show a day gig at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge on Nashville’s Lower Broadway.

Currently, Janson is on the road visiting radio and playing shows across the country in support of the new EP with upcoming dates in Portland, OR (9/8), Tallahassee, FL (9/13) and Presto, PA (9/14).

TRACKLISTING for CHRIS JANSON EP:

1. Cut Me Some Slack

2. Better I Don't

3. Redneck Revival

4. When I'm Holdin' Her
