BRYCE LEATHERWOOD’S “THE ONE MY DADDY FOUND” PAYS TRIBUTE TO HIS PARENTS’ 25-YEAR LOVE STORY

Leatherwood Named Among Boot Barn’s "Taking Flight Country Artists"
Kicks Off Debut Headlining "Neon Does" Tour in Statesboro, Georgia

As Republic Records / Mercury Nashville recording artist Bryce Leatherwood embarks on his debut headlining Neon Does Tour, which kicked off last night in Statesboro, Ga., the country crooner turned off the neon and found inspiration from home with his latest release, “The One My Daddy Found,” out now.

Written by Leatherwood alongside Lynn Hutton and Chris Dubois, “The One My Daddy Found” finds Leatherwood reflecting on his parents’ 25-year love story, noting all of the qualities from their relationship he aspires to in his own life.

“My parents’ relationship is one I’ve always admired and has served as the basis of what I hope my future resembles,” Leatherwood shares of the song’s inspiration. “I wouldn’t be where I am without my parents supporting my music career and to thank them, I wanted to give them a song that captures how important they are to me.”

“The One My Daddy Found” is Leatherwood’s latest release as he continues to tease new music to come. The song comes as Leatherwood was featured in Boot Barn’s 2024 spring campaign Taking Flight, a highlight on up-and-coming country musicians.

Leatherwood’s "Neon Does" Tour will continue tonight in Knoxville, Tenn. before making additional stops in Birmingham, Ala.; Indianapolis, Ind. and more.

CRAIG CAMPBELL TO RELEASE "WHAT I THANK (WHEN I DRANK)" SINGLE

Craig Campbell has set Friday, June 9, 2023 as the release date for the first single from his The Lost Files: Exhibit B album. The upbeat “What I Thank (When I Drank)” can be pre-saved/added HERE. Craig wrote the song with Wyatt McCubbin for his Grindstone Recordings label.

“If you know me, you know I love 90s country, and when Wyatt and I wrote this, I knew immediately it had to be that kind of song,” said Craig. “From the chicken pickin’ to the squeezbox, if this song don’t get you fired up…nothing will!”

Craig released the 16-track The Lost Files: Exhibit A in February. The album covered music recorded during two label deals and other songs he had cut over the years. The collection of songs he called “unfiltered, unapologetic, and from my heart” will be followed by Exhibit B later this summer.

Craig has set Tuesday, June 6, 2023 for his 9th Annual Celebrity Cornhole Challenge, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 6th & Peabody in downtown Nashville. Craig, his wife Mindy, and a host of artists and celebrities will partner with the highest-bidding fans to compete for a trophy and bragging rights. A free concert starring Craig and several of the artists will immediately follow the trophy presentation.

Fans can place bids HERE to compete on one of the teams alongside the likes of Mindy Campbell, Big Vinny, Ashland Craft, Hannah Dasher, Charles Esten, Lucas Hoge, Tayler Holder, Trey Lewis, Tim Montana, Jerrod Niemann, Mitch Rossell, Shaylen, Holly Stocks, and Craig himself.

This year’s Celebrity Cornhole Challenge will benefit the Kenny Campbell Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by Craig Campbell to honor his father who lost his battle with Colorectal Cancer at age 36. The organization specializes in raising money for research hospitals and doctors who focus on finding a cure and preventative measures for Colorectal Cancer. Colorectal Cancer is a disease in which cells in the colon or rectum grow out of control, making it extremely difficult to treat. Colorectal Cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in both men and women. Please join us in the fight against Colorectal Cancer.

“IT'S ONLY ROCK 'N' ROLL (BUT I LIKE IT)” BY BROTHERS OSBORNE AND THE WAR & TREATY OUT NOW

New Song From "Stoned Cold Country",
A 60th Anniversary Tribute Album to The Rolling Stones

Brothers Osborne & The War And Treaty To Perform Track Live For the First Time Together at “The 56th Annual CMA Awards” on Wed, November 9

Forthcoming Star-Studded Album Features Covers from Country’s Biggest Stars: Jimmie Allen, Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Eric Church, Steve Earle, Elle King, Marcus King, Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris, Elvie Shane, Koe Wetzel, The War And Treaty, Lainey Wilson & Zac Brown Band

Today, the first taste of "Stoned Cold Country" – a forthcoming 60th anniversary tribute album to The Rolling Stones from some of Country’s biggest names – arrives with the release of Brothers Osborne & The War And Treaty’s soulful rendition of “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It).” Listen to the song now and pre-save/pre-add "Stoned Cold
 Country" here.

Intertwining old school Rock ‘N’ Roll guitar parts with powerhouse vocals, the track takes a Country spin on The Rolling Stones’ hit song, which was originally released in July 1974 as the lead single of their October 1974 album It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll. A music video will be released at a later date.

Brothers Osborne & The War And Treaty will hit the stage live at The 56th Annual CMA Awards on Wednesday, November 9 (8/7c on ABC) for a not-to-be-missed debut broadcast performance of the collaboration. Brothers Osborne are the reigning CMA Vocal Duo of the Year and nominated again in that category this year, while the performance of “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It)” will mark The War And Treaty’s first time on the show.

“We couldn’t be more honored to take part in such a unique tribute to, not only one of music’s most influential trailblazers, but one of our favorite bands of all time,” shared Brothers Osborne. “And to top it off, we get to enjoy the spoils with two of our favorite people and fellow Marylanders, The War And Treaty. We adore them both.”

"It is such an honor to be part of a tribute to one of our favorite bands of all time and to share this moment with Brothers Osborne makes it that much more special," said Michael Trotter Jr. of The War And Treaty. "We cannot wait to share the stage with them next week at the CMA Awards, and we are looking forward to hearing what fans think of our take on the song.”

"Stoned Cold Country" will be released in 2023 on BMG, filled to the brim with reimagined versions of the legendary rock band’s catalogue. Throughout the record, which was produced by Robert Deaton, the participating artists – Jimmie Allen, Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Eric Church, Steve Earle, Elle King, Marcus King, Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris, Elvie Shane, Koe Wetzel, The War And Treaty, Lainey Wilson & Zac Brown Band – all inject their own trademark style into the revered music of The Stones across Stoned Cold Country, creating a powerful homage to one of the most enduring, trailblazing and influential bands in the world.

"This album is Country Music's thank you to The Rolling Stones for 60 years of inspiration and providing the soundtrack of our lives. While recording the record, I was reminded that this is a showcase and spotlight on the best we have to offer as a genre,” Deaton says of the project. “From our artists to all of the musicians that played on the record, we boldly state that Country Music is second to none when it comes to artists of integrity and creativity.”

SINGER-SONGWRITER HANNAH BETHEL RELEASES DRIVING UP-TEMPO SINGLE, "GODSPEED, LOS ANGELES"

Singer-songwriter, Hannah Bethel, has released the driving, up-tempo single, “Godspeed, Los Angeles.” The track was premiered earlier this week by The Amp. Listen at this link and find it at your favorite digital retailers.

Early support from editorial and high-profile playlists include Amazon Music / Fresh Folk & Americana, Spotify / New Music Nashville, and CMT Next Women of Country.

“Godspeed, Los Angeles” is the second single from Bethel’s forthcoming EP, ‘Until the Sun Comes Back Around,’ set to release on March 25. Her previous single, “Bad News Baby,” was released in late January and garnered attention from Billboard and The Boot, and added to Americana, country, and folk editorial playlists at Amazon Music, Spotify and Tidal, in addition to CMT Next Women of Country, Ditty TV, and Women of Americana playlists, among dozens of others.

“Godspeed, Los Angeles,” written by Bethel, tells the story of the navigation of relationships and the realization when it’s time to separate yourself from that relationship. “I don’t think there is enough space given for men when their confidence falters, when their road becomes unclear and their dreams change,” Bethel says. “I was trying to date a friend who was so wrapped up in his journey that he didn’t have space for anyone else. And that’s okay. I saw it for what it was, and I decided to let it go, with so much love,” she says of the inspiration behind the single.

“When you get to the great wide open
When the desert meets the sea
I hope you finally find the space to breathe
I hope angels dance around you
And you feel the sweetest peace
We know you can’t have it sleeping next to me

Oh, it’s like you’re wound so tight
You ain’t ever coming undone
But in your darkest night
You can’t ever outrun
The beat of your heart and all your regrets
So I hope you fight to the death for your happiness
Godspeed, oh, Los Angeles”

“Godspeed, Los Angeles” was produced by Tim Craven (The Brethren/Boys Club for Girls) and mixed by GRAMMY Award-winning engineer, Brandon Bell (Brandi Carlile/The Highwomen/Miranda Lambert). The track features Bethel on acoustic guitar and vocals, backed by an all-star band, including Sadler Vaden on electric guitar (Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit/Morgan Wade), Billy Justineau on synth and B3 (Brothers Osborne/Eric
Church), Jabe Beyer on acoustic guitar (Natalie Hemby/Lucie Silvas), Megan Jane on drums (Erin Enderlin/Molly Tuttle), Peter Sternberg on bass (Brothers Osborne), Tim Craven on electric guitar, percussion, programming loops, and Haley Arnott on harmonies and backing vocals.

Bethel has made waves across multiple formats with her emotionally powerful vocals and soul-baring writing style, earning her a first-place win in the Americana category of the 2019 International Songwriting Competition and as a current finalist for “Best Female Vocalist” (all genres) at this year’s Appalachian Arts + Entertainment Awards.

She is also a proud Featured Artist endorsee of Furch, Gretsch and Taylor Guitars.

#SIGNINGNEWS - COUNTRY REBEL RECORDS LAUNCHES WITH JUSTIN HOLMES AS FLAGSHIP ARTIST

“Damn Addiction” Single Available Today

Leading music and lifestyle brand Country Rebel today launched Country Rebel Records, it was announced by company founders Darin and Kevin Blue. The new label provides an outlet to support a growing community of artists through social content, digital advertising and live acoustic performances enjoyed by a fanbase of over 18 million. The brothers concurrently announced singer, songwriter, veteran and viral Soundcloud, YouTube and TikTok sensation Justin Holmes as the label’s first signing. His debut single, “Damn Addiction,” is available today HERE.

“We moved the Country Rebel operations from San Diego to the Nashville area for several reasons,” said CFO and Co-Founder Darin Blue. “The main two were to be closer to the artists, labels, management companies and publicists we’re so closely allied with and to immerse ourselves in the industry and learn the business side of music from every angle. Creating Country Rebel Records was in our long-term plans, and signing Justin Holmes is the perfect artist to launch the label.”

Justin Holmes and Country Rebel first connected in 2017 when Country Rebel shared one of Holmes’ cover videos he had posted to Facebook. After sharing to the Country Rebel network of over 18 million Facebook fans, the video went viral and inundated Justin’s inbox and Facebook page with supportive messages and new fans. Country Rebel continued to support and share Holmes’ videos, and in 2019 Country Rebel invited Holmes to participate in ‘The George Jones Sessions’ in which Country Rebel was hosting over 30 artists to film and record acoustic sessions to share and promote on its platform.

While participating in the sessions, Holmes performed his original song, “Damn Addiction.” Since its recording and publishing to the Country Rebel YouTube channel in 2019, “Damn Addiction” has been a fan favorite. In January 2022 “Damn Addiction” was discovered by users on SoundCloud and TikTok, where it has become a viral sensation. The song has now been used in over 9,000 videos (and counting) on TikTok and garnered over 220,000 streams on SoundCloud in a month’s time. The “Damn Addiction” performance video is now approaching 2.3 million organic views on YouTube with one million of those views having amassed in the past month alone.

“We first became aware of Justin through his music and we were incredibly impressed by his talent, songwriting and his character as a father and husband,” said Co-Founder Kevin Blue. “His authentic character, passion for country music, and God-given talents made him the perfect first signing for Country Rebel Records.”

A native of Paducah, Kentucky, Justin got his first guitar at 15 years old, shortly before his father passed away. Playing guitar quickly became an outlet for him to express himself and feel a sense of release while dealing with his father’s death. He grew up listening to everything from George Jones, to Metallica, and Prince but found that country music was special. From an early age he loved singing and grew very interested in songwriting and dreamt of being able to sing on stage.

Holmes enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Forces member at age 18 and spent most of his 14 years of service as a weapons instructor. He took his guitar with him everywhere he went and often played for his fellow service members. Songwriting became an emotional outlet for Justin, pulling from past traumas, addiction, his love for his family, and his spiritual beliefs — intertwining them all in his lyrics.

He continues to reside in Paducah, KY with his wife and children, who he proudly declares are the most important thing in his life. When not promoting his career, free time is spent with them enjoying the outdoors and simply enjoying their lives together.

“Damn Addiction” is streaming now on all platforms.
