RACHEL FARLEY MAKES A 17-YEAR-OLD DREAM COME TRUE WITH GRAND OLE OPRY DEBUT

(Nashville, TN)- It’s not everyday that a 17-year-old has the opportunity to accomplish a lifelong dream, but RED Bow Records’ Rachel Farley did just that when she stepped onto the infamous Grand Ole Opry stage on Friday, March 15 for the first time in her musical career. The evening was quite surreal for Farley, considering it was only six years prior that she visited the Opry as a spectator to see one of her musical idols, Martina McBride, during her very first trip to Nashville.

"The first step in that circle, you always hear people talk about it, but wow," Farley told Shannon McCombs with America’s Opry Weekend immediately following her performance. "Wow, I mean, you just had to take a deep breath and take it in. It was amazing."

It was a reflective moment when legendary Country Music Hall of Famer and Opry member Bill Anderson introduced Rachel to the audience, reminiscing about how he came to know the young songstress several years prior.

“I met this little lady about three or four years ago, she was like 13 or 14 years old, and somebody from down in my home state of Georgia told me, ‘Listen out for this little girl ‘cause she is really gonna be something,’ and I’ll tell you what, she is.” explained Anderson.
