Hosted by “Just Dave” Bernal, The California Country Show is a syndicated weekly radio show, interview podcast, and event production labor of love.  Bernal has hosted the California Country Show for 5 years now which has since expanded to have six radio affiliates. The radio show features new and classic country music from independent and major label artists while the podcast interviews these artists, diving deep into their journey in the industry with live performances and sneak peeks at new music.. A former Bakersfield resident and country music historian, Bernal is also a songwriter and bandleader himself, and his take on the podcast interview reveals how a modern-day country singer can thrive, not just survive.

Bernal prides himself on constantly challenging country radio to play more female artists and his own show’s ratio of male to female artists it plays remains among the highest of shows in its field. He is now set to take it one step further with “TrailBlazers—Women in Country Music”, an interview series on female artists and their journey in the music industry.  A full weekly lineup in December is planned, with a different episode from a female country artist releasing each Monday. Nashville, Tenn. (April 22, 2015) - Country music legend Larry Gatlin is returning to host a second year of 650 AM WSM's "Gospel According To Gatlin."

This year's edition of the Gatlin's radio show will broadcast live from Nashville's George Jones Museum every Thursday night at 9 PM CT.  This year's first show kicks off this Thursday evening, April 23, immediately following the live broadcast of the Grand Ole Opry's "Opry Country Classics," also hosted by Gatlin.

"I can't believe they're lettin' me come back for another year but I sure am happy about it," says Gatlin.  "And that's the 'Gospel According to Gatlin.'"

This Sunday, November 24, 2013, the Whiskey and Cigarettes Country Radio Show will air their newly-recorded second interview with country music star, Steve Wariner. The original air date was postponed due to technical difficulties.

The original interview was was scheduled to air on November 10th, but due to technical difficulties, a new interview was necessary. Mr. Wariner is promoting his current album, It Ain't All Bad. The exclusive interview will premiere this coming Sunday, November 24, 2013 between 11am ET-3pm ET.
